After a lot of research I settled on this boot because I was looking for something waterproof, warm, light, and comfy for walking around in the snowy, slushy, cold Minnesota winters. The boot performs excellently on all fronts. The only thing I don't love about it is the color. I thought the teal was cute, but it's a little more green than I though it would be and clashes violently with all my winter gear.

These are great overall boots. They run small, I had to returned the first pair for half size bigger. I normally wear 6½, and I had to return them for the size 7. The boots worked perfectly for hiking a trip to Switzerland.

All I can say about these boots is wow! We just had a big snow storm here, so I wore them right away out hiking, and they were just awesome. Warm, comfortable, and waterproof! I have been searching for a great hiking boot that is comfortable and yet functions well since I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and have the most trouble with my feet and hands. Having read so many positive reviews, I decided to give these a try and love, love them! I am glad to see where they are made. I will buy again for sure!

I originally got the montaras but loved the color of these so I wanted to try them both out. I had them both on indoors for an hour or so and this one actually felt more comfy and snug and back went the montaras. They have been great so far walking outdoors and are super lightweight. Went about 5 miles the first go and they felt great, got a lot of compliments. I thought I felt a little water one day but my sock was dry when I took them off. Looking forward to seeing how they perform in the snow.

These shoes are very cute , comfortable. My size is usually 7.5 and I order 8, they fit perfect with a medium thickness sock.

These are the best. At first I thought they might have been too small, but after I walked around a bit they were perfect. I love these and am contemplating getting another pair.

I purchased these as a gift for my daughter. She likes them. I ordered half a size larger because of the reviews and that was a good choice. They are lightweight and they are waterproof all things she needed for her outdoor occupation.

This brand is a perfect fit for a narrow foot with high arches. True to my usual size 7. Deep teal color is awesome! I hike every day and had a pair of Merrell boots that finally wore out after 6 years. The break in period on those was long and terrible, so I thought I'd try another brand. These Ahnu boots were comfy right out of the box. I'm sold.

These boots arrived two days before a two week trip. I bought my usual size and they were very tight in the toe box with thick hiking socks, but slightly loose in the heel. So I ended up wearing them with thin cotton socks for 12 hours each day, with nary a blister. I chose these over the Montaras.

I got these last year. They are rugged and great. They are very comfortable. As I am nearing this new winter season I came back to Zappos to order another pair. My only issue is that because I have such slim feet I do need to come down half a size. Other than that they are great boots summer winter fall anytime. My feet are never hot or cold. Just perfect.

This is by far the best hiking boot/shoe I have ever purchased. It was comfortable right out of the box and support was perfect. I am new to the Ahnu brand but will for certain be a repeat customer in the very near future! And as always, Zappos service is second to none!

My first time out in these the fields were very wet, and my feet were lovely and dry. Comfortable and cute - they do seem to be slightly small, but they still fit.

I love these boots. I ordered a half-size up...I wear a 6.5 and ordered a 7. They fit perfectly. I went for a 2ish mile hike to test them out and they felt great. Two days later, I went for a ten mile hike on pretty rough terrain. The boots were awesome! When moving across smooth boulders they slip a bit, but I really have no complaints. I even trudged through a few large puddles and they seem to be totally water proof. Because they are water proof, they don't breathe well (you really can't have both), so be sure to wear moisture wicking socks. The are warm, dry, and very comfortable!

Overall I found these to be a great pair of boots, lightweight and super comfortable with excellent ankle support. I also love the colors. I got the original black and it goes great with Jeans. They have a few minor issues though. I had a problem with a bit of rubbing at the front of the boot for the first couple days, mostly from the gussets that keep water out, but once I got these to fold right this stopped. They are fairly bulky and inflexible compared to a trail runner. They are also a tad hot and not the most breathable, but are better than other waterproof boots I've tried, some good merino socks fixed the sweatiness. They do seem to be waterproof as I tried them out in a fast running creek and some puddles and my feet stayed dry.

Love these hiking boots by Ahnu! I wear a size 4 in women's normally (which no hiking boots come in that I've ever found), but a size 5 fits just fine. They are comfortable, and perfect for keeping my feet dry in heavy dew-soaked grass. Now I just need to get used to the ankle support. Very happy with this purchase.

Loved these boots out of the box. Tested them for fit around the house. Then went hiking on trails in VA, and just loved the performance, support, and fit. Could have worn them all day...so comfy...and stylish. Highly recommend.

This is my second pair . They run a little narrow. They're light and feel like your walking on clouds. And waterproof to boot.

These boots are comfortable right out of the box. Definitely order half a size up. They are super cute and functional at the same time. This was an awesome purchase!

Great boots. One side rubbed a bit when I first got them on, but it's already started adjusting and feeling very comfy. I wear a 9 and ordered same size, fit great with a normal sock. If you're looking to wear very thick socks, might want to order 1/2 size up.

These boots are cute and comfortable! I'm glad I read the other reviews and got a half size larger. The fit well with a warm pair of socks.

These boots caught my eye because I'm pretty girly and, well, they had pink soles! Moreover, the ratings people left served as encouragement for me to choose these as my first pair of hiking boots. I felt they offered great support and traction. While we hiked the easy trails and even went on some inclines, They are kind of hot, but that would be a great thing if using them in the fall.

These boots are not only light weight, but unlike other hiking boots I've purchased, they're not bulky. There was absolutely no breaking in period - they've been comfortable from the moment I put them on. They do seem to run a bit small. I normally wear a 6 1/2, but the 7 fits perfectly. I'd never even heard of this brand before, but I'm sure glad I found it!

I bought these boots in the Astral Aura color for a trip to Paraguay and Iguazu falls. Wanted something for light trail hiking that was water-resistant. They were amazingly comfortable right out of the box. Love the look and color and they are surprisingly light weight. Good for three seasons in the mid-Atlantic.

These are amazingly light. No breaking in needed. I wore them out of the box on a eight mile hike up the mountains on a trip to Utah with no problems.

These kept my feet nice and dry. After spending morning tramping through high grass heavy with dew. I did not have this experience with other brands. With thick socks, these boots felt a little too snug. I am hoping that they loosen up a bit because I prefer thicker socks with boots.
