I was looking for a somewhat dressy flat that I could take when I travel. I ordered this one and it was comfortable from the first time I put it on. There was no break in period. I wore the shoe all day one day in Canada and at evening and had no problems. I had never worn this brand before, but it is now on my list to check out before ordering other shoes.

Love these shoes! They were perfect right out of the box. I have bunions and have had surgery and am able to wear these on days with lots of walking with no foot pain. Great support for a flat shoe of this type.

These are very pretty shoes but they run too large and they were not a good fit. I have always worn 9W shoes and I am afraid to purchase these in medium because I have a bunion. So, I am returning these shoes.

I was looking for a comfortable flat shoe, and ordered this because so many people mentioned good arch support. This shoe has no arch support, as in zero. What it does have is a nicely padded foot bed, but no additional padding or support in the arch area which I need. For an average foot, it would likely be very comfortable. As I said, it is padded, with a rubber sole, and a padded reinforcement around the heel that is nice. I'm between an 8 1/2 and a 9, and I ordered the 8 1/2 because several people mentioned the shoe is sized on the large side. I did not find it to be large as the 8 1/2 was too small for me. It's a cute shoe. I wish it had worked.

For whatever reasons, I find it very difficult to find shoes that are both comfortable and stylish. These are great shoes that fit the bill - very cute while providing super arch support and cushioning. However, there is a problem with the sizing. I have a wide foot so I appreciate the ample sizing. However, they run large overall in addition to the width. I had to return them a couple of times to get a size that fit correctly and Zappos was wonderful in accommodating my exchanges (yea Zappos). If you can get the sizing to work, you will love these shoes. I now check the Cobb Hill line of shoes first - my new-found go-to shoes.

This shoe is one of the few that was comfortable the first time I wore it. The width is just a little wider than most ballet flats that I've tried, which is perfect for me as I have a little bit of a wide foot. This shoe is cute and works well for a dressier look and comfort. There is plenty of cushion in the shoe and it doesn't rub my heel. This is the first time I tried Cobb Hill, but will look at buying more in the future.

I am so pleased with this purchase. My philosophy is if it does not fit in the store - it will not fit any better once you step outside the store. This particular style fits perfectly; and, as described by other reviewers, there is no need to break in. Five plus stars in all directions! I love them!

I love these shoes. Like most Cobb Hill's, they are comfy right out of the box and do not require break-in. I have a horrible left ankle and plantar fascitis on my right heel, so shoes are important to me, to say the least. These fit the bill and I can walk in them for my clinical shifts. I wish these came in more colors!

This shoe runs big. I had to send these back for one half size smaller than I usually wear and couldn't get the snakeskin which was very cute. The black is practical, though. Love the wide width option. Very comfortable with a padded footbed. Not a walking shoe per se but you can easily walk quite a ways in it. More colors would be nice!

These shoes are so comfortable and they are cute! After watching the video on Zappos I went with the Taupe Snake print which I probably would never have ordered otherwise. So I've been ordered about all of the ballet flats from Zappos, and finally settled on these. The soles are super cushiony. They don't dig into my heel. The mediums are probably best to medium to wide feet. And be aware if you do order wide, they really are wide, and I found they ran super large! (I mostly wear medium shoes) I ordered the 7.5 W at first, and I was swimming in them - in all dimensions. The 7.5 M fit me true to size. I'm a true size 38. I might possibly be able to wear a size 7 as they run a little bit large, but I don't think it's a whole half size larger. I prefer to add in another insole to take up the extra space. I'm hoping I can take these on my trip to Italy this summer. But even if I don't they are great for around town, and look cute with straight leg & skinny jeans. Highly recommended! FYI: I am a 37-year-old who isn't into high fashion but likes to look nice in a casual not-too-preppy J.Crew way. In case you are on the search for multiple comfy flats: I also bought some Crocs flats (Kadee) for the first time and but I prefer the Cobb Hill now. The Crocs are comfy, but very casual and sweatier (although perfect for the pool & beach).

These shoes are incredibly comfortable! I had never heard of Cobb Hill, but put a call out to my friends on Facebook asking for recommendations for comfy ballet flats. Thank goodness a friend recommended this brand because they were far and away the most comfortable out of the several pairs I ordered at the same time. I always have a problem with shoes rubbing my foot raw and giving me a blister somewhere - usually the back of the heel, but sometimes the toes or the side of my foot. With these, I had zero rubbing anywhere. They were just incredibly soft and flexible right out of the box - no break in period at all! They also have a pretty comfortable foot bed. I usually like a lot of arch support, and while I wouldn't say these have a lot, they are cushioned in such a way that I don't miss the arch support. I wore them to a party this past weekend and was on my feet for hours and they were fine. Usually in that situation, my plantar fasciitis would be flaring up the following morning, but that didn't happen. I also like how minimal they look on the foot. Usually shoes that are comfortable for me are pretty chunky, but these really are the closest thing I could find to the sorts of ballet flats people typically wear but that are usually terribly uncomfortable to me because of the lack of any kind of support or cushioning. They've managed to put good enough support in a streamlined shoe to make my eyes and my feet happy, which is no mean feat. I will say that the toe box seemed ever so slightly too narrow when I first got them, but based on how soft and flexible they were, I assumed they would stretch out a little and be okay, and I was right. The only thing I'm worried about it that they'll continue to stretch and lose their shape over time. For now, though, I'm just happy I finally found a cute, comfy ballet style shoe, and I wish they came in plain brown as well.

Most comfortable flats. These shoes feel like slippers - they hug your feet. I have flat feet with bunions, and these are not too tight around the toe area, and my pinky toes do not rub on the sides. I ordered medium width, and they are perfect (I am between a regular and a wide). True to size. Love these. They are a bit conservative looking, but very cute. Highly recommend.

These are my favorite flats I've ever owned. Super comfortable and true to size. No breaking in necessary!

There are no words, I am so in love with this shoe. It it so comfy. Feels like I'm walking on air. Highly recommend, especially if you have wide feet.

Found my thrill with. Finally a flat that fits, is not too flat, offers support, stays on, is oh so comfortable and so good looking. This is one great shoe and the taupe snake, besides being stylish is neutral and versatile and will go with everything from jeans, slacks to skirts. Perhaps my new favorite brand.

Bought these for a comfortable walking shoe for travel that works with jeans, slacks, or skirt. Light weight too for packing. Would order in another color in the future.

I love this shoe! I have very flat feet and bunions, have had 3 foot surgeries. Most flat shoes are very uncomfortable. But this shoe is amazingly comfortable and stylish. Arch support is excellent. I also like that the heel does not slip, it seems to be a bit more narrow in the heel than other flat shoes. If you have foot problems, this is the shoe for you!

I have wide feet, and narrow heels, and I am most comfortable with an arch support, so finding well-fitting shoes is not easy. Thank you, Zappos, for your friendly return policy. These shoes, by Cobb Hill, have a bit of a grip at the heels. They come in Wide, and the shoes are so comfortable. I recommend them. And, they are rather cute!

Finally...I found a pair of shoes for work that work! Thank you Zappos for dealing with all the returns as I tried to find a comfortable pair of shoes that could go with pants and skirts and still look fashionable. Wish they came in other colors like Navy.

So glad I read reviews as I was looking for comfortable flats in wide width. These are adorable and comfy but sadly, I didn’t heed the “felt half size (or more) larger” warning. I ordered my regular size in wide and these are about 1/2 size larger. I loathe returning so will wear with no show socks and hope that works. My experience suggests 1/2 size larger than normal, but soft and comfy!

Shoe runs a bit narrow. (I ordered 6.5W). I'm hoping that with some wear they will stretch and not leave a mark on the tops of my feet where the straps cross. The top strap is adjustable, but the lower strap has no "give" at all. Again, i hope they break in and stretch a bit on the toe box width.

The reviews of this shoe were so outstanding that I discovered I ordered it twice. I ordered them last year, but sadly I had to return them. And the same is true this year. The toe is too rounded for my feet. I have a lot of trouble with shoes not hurting my toes, and this one was no exception. Just too painful in the toe area, so back they are going. I hope I remember in the future not to order them a third time.

I really liked the way the shoe looked but unfortunately it was too wide and too large (I usually take a 6 and sometimes a 5.5. I ordered the 6 - the smallest size available - and it was way too large.)

this was my favorite of several that I ordered but I could not get the right fit. this shoe runs short but very cute.

The shoe is a nice looking flat that was comfortable and fit well except in the heel. I have a narrow heel and that part of the shoe kept slipping.
