Love these boots. However, the "stone" color looks gray on the computer screen, but actually the shoes came very brown. No gray about them. The color was totally different than what I thought I ordered and I was disappointed about that. Either way, I like them. I also ordered them on the small side, and they stretched out comfortably right away, so that was good. Also, the tread isn't very "grippy". It's not the worst, but if I'm walking on wet ground or wet leaves, etc., they are more prone to slip then tennis shoes or hiking boots, etc. I will probably buy some insoles at some point for better arch support. Overall, really pleased with how comfortable they are; they are VERY lightweight, I'm looking forward to their versatility while traveling as I often do. I can hike in them (potentially) wear them with dresses, they're not too hot in warmer climates, but solid shoes in bad weather as well. A good all-around shoe.

These are wonderful everyday comfort boots. They were slightly disappointing because they run wide, though I ordered a narrow, and because the top of the boot is so wide that it creates bumps under pants. I can use them with an insert to take up some of the inside space, but it doesn't solve the gap around the edge.

At first I didn't think I was going to like these, but they "broke in" well and now they are pretty comfortable. I am using custom orthotics with them and there is plenty of room for them. One bad thing - the soles started to separate from the uppers after just a few weeks of wear. Superglue seems to have solved that problem, at least for the moment.

These boots ARE comfortable right out of the box. I have the 7 wide Pandora boots. Of course, I didn't even take them out of the box until I was racing out of the door on a snowy, sleeting, raining day for a trip into the city. I slogged through 3 inches of slushy snow and then stood for hours at an employee party and my feet didn't hurt! I wore thin nylon socks and my feet got a little too warm towards the end. On the way back to my car, the water seeped through where the sole meets the leather shoe but it wasn't sopping wet.I just looked at them before writing this; the leather dried fine without any stains. I might try one of those shoe polishes that weather-proofs them but I don't want the polish to change the color of the leather. These are wonderfully comfortable and stylish boots!

They are super comfortable but I had a problem with the opening. My jeans did not stay in but it was too wide for them to go over the opening. Otherwise, they are super cute and very comfortable. oh, color is more brown than gray.

Boots are exactly as described. True to size, heel feels slightly tight at first but broke in to be the best all day boot! Unfortunately the sole came apart on one boot (after less than a month) but Zappos exchanged for free. Hoping it was a fluke.

This Cobb Hill Boot is cute and so comfortable. It can be worn for long treks due to excellent support. Everything I buy at Zappos is exactly as represented. Thank you Zappos!

Cute boot! Very comfy. I got the wide and it fits great. A little shiny - more than I expected, but not a deal breaker. Not a ton of arch support, but it's easy to add my own insoles.

These boots are very cute; however, they were too big and if they were not very flat in the foot bed I might have ordered them in a smaller size. I ordered the stone which looked gray/green in the picture; however, they are brown.

Beautiful quality made boot! Even feels like it has some cushion in the sole. But it didn't seem to have a sturdy base to it and not able to accommodate my orthotics.

Although very comfortable, the ankle area is a little wider than I would like. Comfortable though and felt like it is a quality boot; returning just because it wasn't quite what I was looking for.

I have a hard time with fit (narrow feet, narrower heels) and these do the trick pretty nicely. They are roomier than necessary in the ankle but fit well through the foot and heel. I wish the part that was exposed when wearing pants was as stylish as the part that is hidden, though.

This shoe is comfortable and a narrow width usually fits me well but this shoe was still a bit wide in the narrow. They will have to go back.

Cute, kick-around boots but not sure if I'm gonna keep them, they just feel loose in some places and tight in others. The quality is decent and the stone color is a nice neutral, not too grey or brown, just right. I wear normal-width shoes and these are too tight across the top of my foot, like there is not enough space above my foot and the sole feels like there is not enough under my foot. I've also tried them in wide-width as well and that fit better but not perfect as it added length to the heel which is not what I needed. Also, the look of the wide width shoe was noticeable to me; in the wider boot the ruching sat up higher on my foot which I think took away from the overall look of the shoe. It's a toss up for me and may be one that I don't want to deal with at this price point. Probably a good shoe for people with narrower or more angular feet than my own.

Nice boot, but runs really big. I normally wear an 8.5 or 9, but the 8.5 is huge on me. I could easily go down 1/2 or a full size. Cobb Hill boots have a funny bulge in the insole where the padding meets a seam. Not sure how this will wear long term or if you continue to feel it as you wear them. Cute boots, just wished they fit better.

Very nice ankle boot, got size 7-1/2 wide for my bunion and arthritic right big toe: needless to say, I have trouble getting nice shoes & boots. Found this by accident - it popped up as a suggested buy when perusing the Zappos website for a loafer. Very comfortable, nice fit, not loose in the heel and just right in the toe box. I am not a fan of zippered boots but this one seems OK, time will tell. easy to get on, easy to wear. Looking forward to some nice walking this Fall!

These are extremely comfortable shoes. But, as another reviewer noted, they're better looking in the photo. When you get them on, they look too much like slippers. Comfy, but not too stylish in my opinion.

These were really comfortable but just a bit narrower than what I want in a wide (D). The leather was soft and would have stretched but, personally, I did not think that would look as good. So I am returning them, but I kept my other Cobb Hill pair of shoes. They are comfortable on wide feet.

These were very comfortable on my wide feet but the color was a little odd. Not really brown or tan. Orangey almost. But I wear them anyway for the comfort.

Love these boots. They run wide. I ordered a 8M instead of a 8W. They could have a little more support. The leather is so soft.

These things are crazy comfortable, and look cute with nice slacks or jeans. I could probably have gone half a size smaller, but I'm keeping them anyway. I've added a thick insole to help the fit.

I usually wear a 7.5 and these fit except that they were a little tight in the toes for my taste. Probably could wear them in as they appear to be nice leather, but I am looking for boots that feel perfect from the get-go. The heel does feel great and this is a lightweight boot, I'm sorry it didn't work out for me.

The leather is very soft and supple. The boots are comfortable and easy to walk in for long distances. I'm another one of those people who has "problem" feet ? and I'm quite happy with these. I was so excited when I first got them, I wore them outside pretty much immediately. If I could do it again, I'd exchange them for a half size smaller.

Waiting for cold weather to wear, but seem very comfortable and perfect for casual jean wear. Wish it had a slightly higher heel for comfort and style.

Feels just a bit snug with regular socks. Probably not enough room for heavy winter socks unless there's more give after they're broken in.
