These boots are so comfortable that they required no "break in time" whatsoever. I have narrow and flat feet and but am able to wear some medium width shoes depending on their cut...especially if there are laces. Being that these had no laces I was a bit concerned about the width. I was pleasantly surprised these came in a narrow width! I ordered both to see what worked best. Glad I did so I could compare. The medium might have worked but I ordered the narrow because it felt more snug on my foot. Good choice because after walking miles around Nashville the boot stretched a bit and the medium would then have been too wide. I'm able to wear these with medium thickness socks and because of my low arch I do add a thin additional insole to help take up a bit of space in the shoe. This boot is also ultra light weight! One last thing, I wear a 10 but many 10s are just a tad short. 10.5s and 11s are too long. The length on this was just right!

I need to walk all over the sidewalks and streets of New York all the time, and I happen to have a typical New Yorker's affliction - problem feet! So finding the proper shoes is crucial to my lifestyle, and I really found a winner of a short boot in the Cobble HIll Pandora! Because of my problem with my left toe, I actually ordered the boot in a wide size, and that gives my toe more room to move, and I find these boots are so marvelous, my walking is extremely comfortable and natural, that I no longer even think about how far away some place is or if the walk might be uncomfortable - I am so happy walking in these boots, in fact, that I bought a second pair because I never want to be without these boots when and if the first pair wears out!

These are so comfortable that I immediately ordered them in black too. For an every day shoe that looks great with skinny leg dress pants or jeans, these will be getting a lot of wear! And they are made by a division of New Balance.

Well, I wore these maybe a dozen times and had to just throw in trash. The entire sole came off. I took them to shoe repair, assuming they just needed to be glued on. He said they were terribly designed and he could glue them over and over, but the design would not hold.

These boots look great and fit nicely (Usually 10W is a tad big, ordered 9.5W and they are perfect!). However, I've worn them about 6 or 7 times and on both sides of one shoe, the sole had come completely unattached from the rest of the shoe! It happened right where the stitching ends. The other shoe held up fine, so maybe it's just a manufacturing flaw. Other than that, these boots kept my feet nice and warm (soft lining, but not furry) all day.

Taupe received for Xmas loved from the moment I put them on. However, after 2 days worn, I noticed part of the bottom sole became unglued. I returned them to the place of purchase for them to get another pair & ordered additional pair in black from Zappos. Yesterday I noticed the sole coming unglued from the 2nd taupe pair. Came home to inspect the black and same thing. Sadly, both will be going back.

These are the most comfortable boots ever -- easy to get on and off and great to walk in. They are also nice looking, a definite plus.

I loved these boots! They were so cute and comfortable! I say "were," because the fourth time I wore them, they absorbed something from the sidewalk and the entire top of the boot stained dark greasy brown and detached from the sole. I discovered they are just glued together! At this price point, I would expect more secure fastening to the sole than some shoe goo! I had to throw them out. A waste of enough money to feed a Third World family for a month!

I bought these shoes for a trip to Europe, based on other reviews that reported how comfortable they were. That was true--I walked everywhere in them with no foot problems. But they fell apart! First, the front of the sole on the right shoe detached from the rest of the shoe, then the left, and finally, the back part of the sole came loose as well. I don't think you should have to superglue a pricey pair of boots--but that's what I was forced to do, as my other shoes I brought on the trip were sandals. I am very disappointed that this happened; I loved the style and comfort, but they simply were not well-made.

This little boot is very comfortable from the first wearing. I have very long, narrow, bony feet and am limited on closed shoe wear since many closed shoes have hard areas that cause pain for me. With only a pair of thin socks, I was able to wear this boot all day without any problems. My only slight disappointment was that the color was a little more on the "brown" side of gray when I was anticipating a truer gray color. If you require a high level of arch support, these are probably NOT the little boot for you. They are still quite acceptable and look great!

Comfort wise they're wonderful. Disappointed in the gray, it's brown. But most disappointed in the quality. After just a few wearings, the soles on both shoes are completely coming away from the shoe. For the price and brand reputation, surprised and upset.

These are awesome boots, but the rubber sole detached from the boot within seven months and they have only been worn like 10 days. Poor quality hence the one star.

Cute shoes but unfortunately very poorly made. I wore them only 5 times before the leather upper started delaminating from the soles on both shoes. I returned them and won't buy from this manufacturer again.

These were comfortable right out of the box. I have been looking for stylish, comfortable boots for years. These did not slip on snow. I love them! Cobb Hill shoes are always a half size larger, so a 9½W is what I order for my size 10W feet. And, as always, Zappos is the best, the only, place to buy shoes.

Great boot. Would buy a second pair if they had any more colors in my size since finding a flat, comfortable, well made, all purpose ankle boot that isn't clunky is extremely hard to do and is a go to in my wardrobe. This is it. Will wear all year but summer. Runs slightly small.

I wore these boots for the first time today and they were very comfortable. I usually wear wide shoes and these are not as wide as some shoes that I own, but they are very soft and comfortable, like slippers. I wore them with tights and a skirt and they were perfect.

I put one boot on and knew immediately they were perfect. I've now worn them for several hours and am ready to order another color. I'm someone with more foot problems than you could imagine, and these are terrific boots. I wish I could get them in the merlot, but the almond and black will be just fine.

This shoe is unbelievably comfortable, it's like wearing sneakers! And great that they come in a narrow size for me. As soon as I slipped them on I was in love. Super stylish too, they have turned heads in that awesome almond color!

I wear ankle boots a lot in winter, especially black; I bought these to replace a much-loved pair of lace-ups that had simply worn out. I like them: the molded foot bed provides good support; the fit is roomy enough for standard socks (I have very long toes); wrap detail on the uppers makes them more interesting than plain boots below pants. The heel height of about an inch is good for most casual occasions; I wear these with all but my most dressy wool slacks. I have had them for some weeks and they seem to be holding up well. While they do not look anything like my old boots, I am happy with them and would buy them again.

These are awesome boots. The support and lining are superb, and I only wish I needed these in other colors. I am very impressed, as this was the first time I had ordered this brand, and was doing so without having any knowledge except from Zappos reviews. My thanks go out to the reviewers who go before me!
