These boots have the best food bed I've ever experienced. It's like a thick memory foam sole that is molding to my feet. The are so comfortable yet thick enough to provide support. The soles have good grip and they accommodate my thick calves and wide feet. I love these boots. If you love your Uggs get these. They are like a better version for the winter!

Wonderful fit right out of the box. I have insteps so high that boots are usually a huge problem for me and I wouldn't even bother trying these if it weren't for Zappos easy return policy. But they practically slipped right on, and there is plenty of arch support, and the soles are cushy and comfortable all day, and the best part is that my feet didn't get cold once all winter. In Chicago. The soles aren't any better than any other boot on wet surfaces including ice, but they are certainly no worse than any other shoe.

At first I bought these as snow boots, but I ended up wearing them nearly every day. They're really comfortable. I wore them outdoors in the snow and even walked through a stream in these. My feet stayed warm and dry. These shoes are awesome; I definitely recommend them!

I wanted to get these from Zappos but sadly they were out so I went elsewhere. I did go by the reviews on Zappos so I decided to leave one. I have always bought Uggs and I like them. But every time I get a pair I need to weatherproof them. These come already weatherproofed so that is a plus. They are also more outdoors boots. The footbed is so much more comfortable to wear. I walk the dogs with these with no problem. I love that they slip on, too. I wear no socks, either. I am a 7 in Uggs and 7½ in these and they are great! My true shoe size is a 7½.

I booked a trip to Iceland and knew I needed waterproof boots that were not only warm and stylish but safe to grip ice and rock. I ordered them in December and have been wearing them almost everyday since. In Iceland I was warm and dry even on snow covered glaciers. They also look adorable...even better than Uggs! I have the light beige color ones and they still look new...even after traveling through Iceland. Best purchase ever!

I read the reviews and ordered a larger size. They are a very nice boot, but they were hard to get on. Very tight in the ankle. I couldn't wear heavy socks with them. So I am returning them.

I bought these because my Hunter's aren't warm enough for this crazy cold winter Chicago is having...and also because I wanted something that was easy to get on and off since I have to take my dog out multiple times a day. These are so perfect! They are so comfortable and they keep my feet warm. I don't like the look of Bearpaw's or Uggs, but I like the look of these. I wear a 7 in nearly every shoe and ordered a 7 in these. At first I thought they were too small. My toes touched the end. However, after wearing them for a week they have really loosened up and aren't snug at all anymore. They fit perfectly.

I love these boots! Warm, great arch support, really cute. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5 these fit great in an 8 even with thick socks.

I love these boots! I live in the mountains and wanted something that I could wear to work everyday that could also have traction on the snow and these are perfect. They're super cute and incredibly comfortable. Fits true to size if you're wearing thinner socks, might want to size up if you want to wear thick ones. I wish I'd bought these years ago!

I am really happy with this purchase and so glad that I did not buy Uggs. These are waterproof and have excellent padding. I think they are easy to slide on and off but could see if someone had a really high instep it might be a little tough. I have incredibly narrow feet so they are a bit roomy on me but that is to be expected with any kind of boot like this. They look great and I get tons of compliments.

Great boots. I was looking for something I could slip into quickly when I need to go outside in the snow and cold. These are roomy enough that I can slide into them easily, yet not so roomy that they're drafty. They're toasty warm, plus they offer good arch support and fit exactly right (and I have a hard time finding a good fit).

Love the color and quality of these boots. Very comfy and the tread on the sole seems stable. I needed a boot for our occasional snow and this one will do the trick. You won't need a really thick sock with this boot because of the nice pile lining.

Warm feet! I live in MN, and it is COLD here! Also snow is usually well cleared but can be slushy or icy or you may have to travel over melt or a not currently shoveled area. These are great for every day wear with pants tucked in or on top without being too bulky and are so warm!

The left boot was odd in that it scraped my shin at the top of the boot. Also, it was sort of collapsing at the ankle and wrinkled there. Also 1/2 size too small on that foot. The right boot was perfect. If not for the left boot problem, I would say these are extremely comfortable in the footbed and a cute style. Tood bad.

I ordered these boots to help me survive the recent blizzard in NYC & DC, and they did the trick. They are cute, warm, and waterproof. I walked through the snow with no problems. The insole is pretty good, but you can remove it and place a better orthotic in if you need it! There are some cons, however. This shoe is incredibly hard to get on -- Sorel needs to put some loops at the back to help you pull them on. Additionally, these are a little small. There's a weird fold of material right before the toe that makes this shoe a little smaller than it should be. I got an 8 (my usual size), but if I had had time, I would've exchanged them for an 8 and a half. They're not uncomfortable as is, it's just annoying to bump up against that little fold, which happens no matter whether I'm wearing thick or thin socks. Regardless, I'm happy with my purchase overall. Just be warned about the difficulties of getting them on and the size issue.

Love these boots. Easy slip on, does catch a little at the heal but that keeps foot in place. Toe area is wide which may be why it feels like toes hit the end. Comfortable but breaking them in some will help with the toe area. Best part is they are waterproof. Great for winter, exactly what I was looking for.

Sending these back today. At first I agonized over the size. I'm a true 7.5 across the board in all other brands. The 7.5 felt sloppy but when I received the 7 my toe hit the end. The biggest surprise was the difference in color! The 7 was a gorgeous grey and the 7.5 was this odd looking light olive...not crazy about it. I decided to keep the 7.5 but then put them on with an outfit and wow, these are unattractive. They look like huge astronaut boots. And that strange olive color?! Just can't do it. Sending them back but I must say they were incredibly comfy. Super soft and buttery inside. Just wish they looked better. Sigh!

Boots are very cute, comfortable, and extremely warm. I live by the water at the Jersey shore, and they aren't water proof in the way that we mean here - which is that you can stand in water with them on. They also slid on ice. I'm mostly writing this review not to be critical of the boot, but if I had read it, I would have picked a different Sorrel shoe and saved myself a little time. The problems I describe above would have been outweighed by the ease and comfort. However, after only a month or so of use, the lining inside ripped. I think if you have high arches, this boot's design means you'll put stress on the seam when you pull them on. Zappos is awesome though, and is letting me exchange.

These shoes are comfortable and are true to size, but if you don't like to wear socks, or shoes for that matter and are looking for something with a little more support than an Ugg I would say these are a nice go to, but be aware that your feet will feel cold and sweat without socks. Overall a nice comfortable boot.

I love these boots but I struggle to get them on. I have very high arches and have tried shoe horns and no socks to try to get them on but alas, no luck. I hate to return them, but I think I going to have too. I have Uggs which slide on and off with no problem, but they lack good traction in the snow and ice. I was really hoping these would work.

I purchased these Sorel's based on the good reviews I read. I am an Ugg fan. Have worn them for years. Thought I would try something new due to cost and more arch support. I love the look of the Sorel for sure and the arch support is so much better than the Uggs but the inside of the boot is what I don't like. The Ugg has the shearling lining which for me is the best since I like to go barefoot in the Uggs. My feet were always dry no matter how long I wore the Uggs. In the Sorel's my feet always feel damp. They are best worn with socks. The Sorel's are made very well but if I purchased again I would go back to my Uggs.

I ordered the Sorel Glacy in the tan color and they arrived just in time for the first snow! They are super comfortable. The nice spongey insole is very soft yet supportive. I have very high arches but these are easy to pull on and take off. I bought my usual 9.5 and they are slightly larger than expected but given the style a little extra room is not a problem. I am happy with this purchase. Highly recommended.

I normally wear a 6 1/2 W and went with the 6 1/2. Once on they fit perfect. I really struggle getting them on though. I have a slightly high arch. Tried getting them on with socks and they won't go on. I am hoping to find a sock that slips into these boots, if not I might have to return them. I'd be tripping over the toe if I went with a 7. But I love love love them. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because of the struggle of getting my foot in.

I like the inserts in these boots because they do have a light-medium type arch support. A lot better than Uggs for sure. The inserts come out and they look very much like the type of inserts that the brand Alegria uses but so far after doing a google search I haven't found any Sorrel insert replacements though it seems as if the Alegria inserts would work just fine. The raised bubble sole of this boots will also work well in wet conditions. All in all I like the look of this boot thought I was slightly disappointed that it didn't offer more arch support but I'm OK with that because I only intend to wear these boots around the house and sometimes for light errands during the wet season. I have knee problems so wouldn't recommend this boot for long walks.
