I read so many reviews before I got these gorgeous boots and I decided to go with - buy my exact size (7.5 Eve though sometimes I get a 8 and I'm pretty wide) and to do what some reviewers mentioned - wear them around the house for an hour or two, which will help my foot settle into bottom of the boot and my big toe won't keep hitting the front of the boot. Exact size and wear them around the house first before returning. They're now perfect!

As someone with a wide foot (7.5 WW) I decided to try this boot in a size 8. It's the most comfortable winter boot I have ever found! The toe box room is excellent, the insole is a kind of high density, firm memory foam which is incredibly comfortable and supportive and the boots are very warm and fairly light weight. The black suede is beautiful and the simple design is attractive. I'm so delighted to have boots I can wear for hours without discomfort that keep me warm and dry. Thank you to Sorel!

These are a little hard to get on at first, but it feels like you are walking on pillows once They are on. My feet stay dry and warm but not too hot like Uggs. I have worn them to work, and had no problem standing on my feet for 12 hours. You cannot go wrong with these boots! =

I love these Sorel boots! They keep my feet warm and dry! They are very comfortable and stylish! You will not be sorry if you decide to purchase these! Zappos made it easy to order!

These boots are amazingly comfortable! I bought them in black and liked them so much that I also bought them in elk, so now I have two pairs of the exact same boot; that is how much I like them! I live in Portland, Oregon, and I received these three weeks ago, and in that time, Portland has broken their record for the most rainfall ever, so I have definitely put these to the ultimate test when it comes to rain, and they have proven themselves 100 percent waterproof, and warm and cozy as well! I have wide feet so if yours are narrow they might be too wide. They are definitely true to size in my opinion otherwise. Why I docked one star for style: I really wanted some of the taller Sorrel boots that have a more unique look (I think these Glacys look a lot like Uggs which I am not a huge fan of). Unfortunately when I tried on the taller Sorrel boots (I tried Joan of Arctic plus a few others), they rubbed against the back of my ankle after walking around for just ten minutes, which seemed like it would be quite painful if I tried to wear them out and about. Others have said, and I have to agree, that if you have a wide calf (mine is 16" circumference), then the leather of the shaft will buckle and crease inward right at the back of your ankle, which is what causes that pain/discomfort. I have not had this problem at all with my Glacys (because they are shorter and have a wide opening). I hope this is helpful, if you are a fellow wide-calf person who is also considering one of the taller sorrel boot styles. Although these Glacys are not quite as stylish, they are extremely comfortable and waterproof (not to mention cheaper than the taller boots), so I am very happy with them and I think you will be, too.

I love these! I bought half a size larger but had to send them back for my regular size. They are doing wonderfully in the rain and snow. I have toasty feet!

I am in love with this boot! Easy on easy off. Warm and feels like a sneaker. I have been wearing them over pencil jeans and leggings and they are very nice looking for a casual out and about. I have a high bone in the top of my foot that is often pressed upon with slip on boots so I was very pleased to find that the interior height was roomy enough for me. So happy to have them.

Great boots. Comfortable for hours of walking. I ordered a half size up so I could wear thick socks, but don't think I'll need to.

I love these boots! I usually wear a 7W and already have a tall pair of Sorels that I have worn for years. I wanted a shorter pair to wear out and about with leggings, something that would not look odd in the grocery store. These are it! I bought the black. They have excellent arch support as reported by others and feel bouncy, not cushiony like new running shoes, actually bouncy as if walking on an air bladder. It is really comfortable in my opinion. The only aspect of the boot that I find odd and had to get used to is the toe box. As reported by others, it is low and firm and you can feel your toes somewhat confined by it when walking. It does not rub or hurt but is weird to feel it. Like another reviewer, I wondered if I should get a bigger size, but the length is right on so I will keep my 7. If you think you might love them, I suggest buying two sizes, one your normal and one half a size bigger and see which you prefer. If you have narrow feet I think it would be too wide for you. I definitely cannot wear regular width shoes/boots and these are marked regular but they fit me great, even with heavy wool socks.

I love these. I have wide feet, and usually wear a size 8. The 7½ were a bit tight at first now fit perfectly. These are warm, have great arch support and are very comfortable.

Great, comfy boots. I agree with another reviewer re: size. I'm a consistent 7.5, but needed to size down to the 7 in these.

I ordered three different styles of Sorel boots and these were the winners. I sized up to a 9.5 and ended up exchanging them for my usual size 9. I feel they are still roomy enough to wear thicker socks, but fit well with regular socks, too. The calf opening is large, so I think snow would get in if you were trudging through drifts. I just wore them out for an all day shopping excursion and my legs and feet feel great! The arch/foot bed is very cushy. They are just my style, looking great with skinny jeans or leggings. I would definitely order these again if they continue to hold up to the rain and snow.

Bye bye Uggs! These are so nice. Not very furry on the inside, I like that because my Uggs use to make my feet sweat. These have a foam bottom that is like walking on a cloud. Very comfortable. Warm. Good grip for snow and ice. They are super cute with jeans and leggings. Must have!

I was very sad to have to return these boots, as they were exactly what I had been looking for... something warm, waterproof and easy to slip on and off for quick dog walks. Unfortunately, the size I would usually fit into was too small, with my big toes bumping into the toe ends! This was interesting as I ordered another taller and more wintery boot by the same manufacturer in the same size and these second boots fit like a glove! I had hoped to exchange them for a larger size, but it seems they are not available just now - I have my fingers crossed for a new shipment! But I would definitely recommend these boots to everyone!

Love these boots. Very warm and comfy! The most important part is they come with a built in arch support unlike Uggs! I can no longer wear Uggs; they are horrible for my feet. These have the proper supports inside, they are waterproof, they have great treads at the bottom to help keep you from slipping and they are warm! Win Win! Also, some reviews said that they run big, I did not find that true. I am usually a 7 in boots and I ordered a 7. They are just right. I almost could have even sized up to a 7.5.

I purchased these to replace a pair of Sorels that I had worn to pieces. I love these boots - they are great quality (as always, from Sorel), the fit is true to size and I love the waterproof fabric. The soles will be great for walking this winter - I live in Chicago and plan to get daily use out of these.

I must say, I love these boots! I typically wear a 10 or 11 so I decided to try the 10.5. When they arrived, I thought they were gonna have to go back because my toe was right on the front edge of the shoe. The insole is amazingly comfy, however when you first put it on it does feel a bit slanted which I think is why my toe rubbed the front. Anyhow, I decided to keep them on about an hour in my house. The boot and insole began forming to my foot and stretching a bit. I'm so glad I tried them because the 11 would have stretched out too much. They fit perfectly and the slight slant at the heel of my foot is no longer noticeable. I love how warm and comfy these boots are. Definitely worth the price.

I bought these boots to replace my Ugg boots. I wanted something casual and easy to wear, but that was still practical to wear in snow and slush. I have the Sorel Joan of Arctic boot and I love it, but they are a little heavy duty for everyday things. That is where these boots came in. They are light weight and slip on over skinny jeans and they are so comfortable. The insole feels like you are walking on marshmallows, but is supportive at the same time. We have had a pretty dry winter so far, but I have worn them in a couple inches of snow/slush once or twice and I had no issues with water getting in or with the suede getting damaged. Overall, these boots work well for me because I can wear them with pretty much anything I would wear on a regular day, they are definitely more stylish than my old Uggs, and I can wear them in the snow and not worry about ruining them all while staying really warm. They are a good buy if you are looking for good quality winter boots that actually keep you warm and dry but still have a cute, casual style to them. One last thing that I liked about these boots is that the shaft is wider so with the boot being a little shorter I don't feel like it makes my legs look shorter or my hips wider like it would if they were tight to my calf. I am short and have small feet so this is a concern for me, but no worries with these boots. I would recommend getting half a size bigger. I originally ordered a 6, but returned them for a 6½ and they are perfect.

Liked the style of this boot, unfortunately was a little small for me. I normally wear a 10.5W, but in this boot I think 11 might be best. However, since they don't have my size, I will search on.

I was looking for waterproof, slip on boots to wear before and after hitting the slopes and these are the perfect boots! They are warm and comfortable as well as stylish! I have several pairs of similar boots, but they are not practical in winter or wet weather. These are awesome. I bought an extra pair in case I can no longer find them anywhere.

Love, love, love these. So comfortable. I couldn't believe how thick and pillowy the footbed was, and I love that unlike other bootie style winter shoes, the suede material is waterproof, so I don't have to worry about staining them just walking through snow. I love the neutral tone of these, though I think they look a little more grey than brown in person. Good traction, warm fleece lining... everything I wanted in a pair of Uggs, but at a much better price point. And I'm not afraid of ruining these ones the way I was with sheepskin, so I consider them a better purchase for that reason alone. I've worn Merrill waterproof leather boots in the past, but after 5 years, they parted down the middle seam. They were fantastic boots, worth every penny, but as I spend less time walking through snow banks (they were fantastic for commuting in Chicago), now that I live in Metro-Detroit, these are perfect for slightly less extreme winter wear. Definitely recommend them, though if you're looking for mega heavy-duty walk-through-water, good-arch-support, heavy-duty-traction, wear-all-day boots, I still recommend the Merrill Decora boots. I usually wear a size 8 and ordered an 8 in the Glacy. They fit good, though the footbed is really wide so they feel roomy. Still, I think a half size down might pinch at the ankle, so I'm sticking with the 8s. I like to be able to wear thick socks, anyway.

Cute, durable, waterproof. Doesn't get any better than this. So much better than UGGs. They are warm and can be worn in deep snow. Very comfortable. Bought for my 12-year old Middle Schooler. She loves them.

I can't wait to defy winter with my comfy new boots! I'll be wearing them anyway, whether or not it snows. Very easy to slip on and very walkable. Great supportive footbed. I wear a 9 - 9.5 depending on the brand and style, and I got the 9.5 and they're just a tad loose but two pairs of socks do the trick. I have a feeling my tootsies will be nice and cozy this winter! Oh, and they're great for my wide feet (C width) and bunion.

So far I have been happy about these boots. They are a little clunky but comfortable. With regular socks there is a little room left but I think with thicker socks they will fit a little tighter. I have not tried them out in the elements yet but plan to today. I wanted boots that were waterproof and comfortable. We shall see how they hold up!

These boots are such a surprise because they fit my wide feet perfectly. Sorels tend to run narrow for me but these boots fit like a wide and were true to size in length. The removable insole is surprisingly substantial with lots of cushioning so they will likely be comfortable for serious walking around town in cold and wet weather. The only thing that remains to be seen is whether the boots truly are waterproof and will keep moisture out.
