These were so cute, I had ordered 2 pair in 2 different sizes, hoping that one would work. Sadly, they were way too big. I'm also not the type of person to be okay with loose, ill-fitting shoes, and being able to stuff them with thick socks...pretty bummed to be returning them!

These are the greatest boots in the whole world. I'm 5'2" and these are the perfect height to lengthen my legs without looking like they're too big! They do run about a half size large in the heel, but nothing thick socks wouldn't fix. Incredibly comfortable right out of the box with a killer tread. I can't wait to put them to the test in England this winter.

I absolutely love these boots they are officially my favorite shoes. Talk about comfort and style all in one. This is it!

I ordered the J O Arctic Mid in Dark Fossil (the Taupe color) in my normal boot size 7.5. If I were to keep this style I would go down a 1/2 size to a 7. Even with a thick sock, there would be plenty of room. The Dark Fossil color out of the box is good, but more of a Putty, or a Light Mushroom than the Sandy Tan in the Zappos picture. I returned them because, even with scrunched winter socks peeking out over the top, the boots were a little heavy for my super skinny legs in skinny jeans. Super cute, and would have been amazingly comfortable.

Love the grill/black color! It's dark enough that you can pull it off with black, but not as stark as solid black. I can't imagine any color that this boot will not work with. I'm a solid 8 and went with the 7.5. It fits perfectly with just enough room to wear with a sock. Super comfortable right out of the box. This is my first Sorel purchase and I am thrilled. Keep these super cute styles coming!

These boots are amazing. I got them for Christmas and have worn them almost everyday since. I live in Denver and frequent the mountains and these babies go with me every time. I even walk my dog in the snow in these. I've never slipped, the tread is unbelievable. I've worn them all day to work and then out that same night. They are so comfortable and add just the right amount of heel. I'm actually a little sad it's getting warmer, I'll have to put them away to rest for the summer soon. Totally worth the money.

These boots are phenomenal! I hardly ever wear anything with a heel, but I can wear these for a full day of teaching with little to no discomfort. They look great with jeans, leggings or boot socks.

Love the look and style of these boots. They are incredibly comfortable. I put them on and didn't want to take them off. They are so stylish, you don't have to wait to a rainy or nasty day to wear them.

I bought these for a post-Christmas trip to Chicago for shopping and attending a Bears game. The boots worked equally well for both. My last pair of Sorels lasted 19 years. These feel as well constructed with the added bonus that they are stylish. We walked home from Soldier Field almost four miles. When could I ever do that with new boots? These are just great.

I think these have to be the most comfortable boots I have had on my feet. They are great looking and I would buy these again in a heartbeat. They are pricey but can be worn all year as they don't have a thick lining.

These are comfortable, cute and functional. My three criteria exceeded. These are my new go to winter boots. Yay! They do run large!

Wowie. I love these boots. I wanted black but they were out in my size and so I ordered the brown. I think they look so wonderful and right out of the box the comfort was there. Very fashionable and very comfortable. I have a lot of boots, but these are my new favorite and I feel they will continue to be. I would recommend these to anyone.

Ok, these are amazingly comfortable. Warm even. They look great to dress up or dress casual, especially when it's cold and you're not feeling the hose and heels. Highly recommended

I LOVE THESE BOOTS! I was looking for a nice looking, water proof, grip to the ground winter boot and this boot is IT! I was hesitant at first because I thought they were a little pricey BUT they are WORTH their weight in gold my husband even loves them and don't hesitate just do it you won't be sorry. True to size, warm, they are all that.

Wow. I am in awe of these shoes so far. I have had them for about a week and a half, and cannot stop wearing them. They fit like a glove straight out of the box (I wore them home after receiving them at work), and they have yet to bother me. Mind you, my feet are not model feet - they are wide, flat, ugly and unruly. Most shoes bother me. These do not. I love them.

These boots are amazing! They fit true to size and are very comfortable. The leather is very high quality and the soles feel very grippy -- great for icy/snowy conditions out here in Colorado. Maybe too casual for some places but these will get tons of compliments here in Boulder. These boots are the perfect heeled snow boot that will actually perform in inclement weather.

These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned! You don't even notice the heel. And they go with everything! SO glad I made this purchase! I wear a 9.5 and they fit just fine.

These boots are great! They were comfortable right out of the box. I am a true 9. I wear these boots with thin SmartWool socks and my feet are warm and comfortable all day long. I double not the laces so they don't come undone. The leather is soft but sturdy. The boots are not heavy. I highly recommend them.

QUALITY and COMFORT worth every dollar!! I wear a solid size 8 in any shoe. Purchased these boots in size 8 and fit is perfect. I almost ordered a size down because In Sorel Joan of Arctic II snow boots I was a size 7.5. but those are oversized 'snow' boots. These Arctic Wedges are sized and shaped like an everyday boot - true to size in my experience. You will not regret purchasing these boots. First day wearing, I walked for hours at Disneyland. Did not want to take them off when I got home.
