This jacket is pretty nice. It was not as thick as I was expecting. It would not make a good winter coat. It is a light jacket. I like how it is longer than most jackets. Columbia makes a good product. It was just not what I was expecting. That was my fault for not reading more about this product before purchasing. I am still happy I have it to add to my jacket/coat collection. I am still in the market for a nice warm winter coat though.

The jacket keeps the warmth in and the cold out as advertised... You can really feel the omni-heat kicking in when you start moving- I like to put mine on a few minutes before heading out the door to warm up the air inside the coat. You'll want to wear a hat under the hood to take up some of the extra space. I love the length, keeps my bum warm!!! Had it for a week and a 3 inch stretch of seam on the right sleeve just opened up... I stitched it closed myself and it looks fine. Some of the threads on the stitching overall fray and look a little bit ragged, but other than than, the coat works and feels great! Super light, slimming, and I can wear a light work blouse underneath, I don't have to layer at all... YAY!

I always buy a XXL size but I bought this jacket in 3XL and it is too small. It's really nice weight and warm but I had to return it.

I've had several Columbia coats over the years. The quality of this coat is cheap. The stitching is already coming out and the zipper has been giving me problems since day one. I've only been wearing it a few weeks.

Not what I was expecting. It is not a winter coat, but more like a coat lining

Although it is a very nice coat, it does not hold in the warmth as well as I believed it would and it does not run true to size. Order a size up and plan to wear a sweater

I've bought several different Columbia products in recent years that have been sized oddly.
In this case I ordered up in size so that I would have room to layer underneath.Sadly , the 2xl I received has sleeves that seem to belong on a large jacket! There is no way I can wear anything like a sweater with this jacket.Guess I'll be wearing a vest only.
The body size is huge.
If you are heavy bodied with tiny arms, this jacket is for you.
On a good note, the omni heat works well.

This coat was more like a rain-jacket material than a winter coat. The light-weight material fit nice, but I don't think it would keep me warm in MN winters. I ended up returning this product.

I live in Boston so the weather is so unpredictable in the Fall. I bought this coat as a fall coat. It is very lightweight and runs slightly large in my opinion. But, regardless of the sizing/fit, I am ok with it as I tend to wear layers. The color of the coat is nice and the length great for wearing skirts/dresses.
My issue is the hood. There are no strings to grab the hood to your head. So if it is a windy day, the hood just falls off your head because there are no strings to secure it. Same for a rain storm. Because of the hood issues I give this 3 stars.

I bought this coat for my trip to Sapporo, Japan during the Snow Festival in Feb. The temperatures averaged in the 18-20 degrees. The jacket only kept me warm if I had several layers underneath. I thought it would have been enough with the Omni heat feature, but once the wind was blowing I was still cold. With all my layers underneath, I wasn't able to zip it all the way to cover the bottom half of my face. Also, I found the hand cuffs to fit funny. It felt too short. I purchased the beige color and it was beautiful. But I was surprised at how thin the coat is. I'm sure the jacket would
Work in another setting, but it wasn't the right coat for Sapporo weather.

It is more like a jacket not really for extreme cold. Nice for the price.

I ordered big because the literature says it runs small. By the time I went back to reorder the size I wanted (2X) it wasn't available in Nocturnal Blue. Very disappointed in that. A friend has the coat and likes it very much.

I live in West Michigan where there are snow a plenty. I had a terrible delivery service so it arrived when snow and cold was in full swing. I have 2 other Columbia long winter coats. They were the traditional down coat. I wanted to try non down coat after watching videos about animal cruelty during down plucking.
The coat is lightweight. It works great if you are running from home to car to work or store. But if you are shopping at an outdoors mall for an hour or so, it will get very cold. The weather I was out at was about 20 degrees with wind chills making it feels below zero. I will still be on a lookout for a real Midwest winter coat.

The coat is of average warmth for Michigan winters. I ordered a size larger than I normally would because I read that the arms were small. They were indeed constricting. As usual, as a tall woman, the sleeves were a bit too short. I am unable to use the thumb holes because of this. I enjoy the longer length, although the two way zipper is a pain to get started. I wish this coat also had snaps for a quick open/close. The cut is not feminine like I'd hoped. With a great brand like Columbia, I had expected more for their full figured customers. If I wanted a sack, I could have bought that at a big box store for a third of the cost. I'm feeling warm enough, but frumpy. You let me down, Columbia.

I made my purchase based off the reviews of others, most were saying the cost runs very, very small. I sized up, I bought a 3x I'm a 1/2x. It fit rather big but not too big, I could see where some would say it runs small. I did have room to spare, I did not exchange for a smaller size because I'm 6ft and needed the arm room.
Nice I like it, nice, very light weight.

Sleeves are very short and runs tight in the shoulders. I so loved this coat, would have been perfect for being outside in the cold, but had to be returned.

I love the idea of the omni-heat, and it does work well, but the sizing is terrible. I am a 3x and I would expect the sleeves to also be a little roomy. The sleeves appear to be the same size as on a coat that is size large, no room at all. I cannot wear a sweater underneath, even with a t-shirt the sleeves are just too snug. If I hadn't cut the tags off I would be returning this coat.

Wow! I like the Mighty Lite each time I try it on, that's all I'll ever do as, I mis-ordered 2 different sizes based on reviews and my stupidity, and now that I know the size I need, they are all out of that one, in all colors. Jeesh! The size chart is way off. I'd say to go with your gut on size/fit. Too bad, I was looking forward to owning one.
I found the online ordering system and applicable credits to be cumbersome and a waste of a lot of time.

I love the way it looks! Makes an over eater, under achiever look fantastic.
BUT NO SILVER DOTS in the sleeves. The body remains warm but the arms freeze. PLEASE send me silver dotted sleeves to sew into the coat. I want to take to Iceland but can't take as is.

It's long to cover your hinny, but it's very thin and won't handle the Portland, Oregon rain. Expensive for what it is. Sleeve length was ok. I'm 5'12".

I was hoping for a longer coat. I am 5'9" and this coat barely came to mid-thigh. There also was very little shape so it sort of felt like wearing a garbage bag. I returned it right away.

I love the look and fit of this jacket. However it is not as warm as I'd hoped it would be. It would be great if Columbia returned to rating jackets, or at least giving an estimate rating. The wind can cut through and I can feel a bit chilled at times. Also, it would be nice if the hood had a way to hold it taut to the face.
