Love these coats super warm & light weight

This parka is exactly what I was looking for - warmth without the bulk. Really well made and still has a metal zipper unlike other brands that have gone to plastic. Happy I went up a size since it does run small. Overall a really well made product.

I love this coat so much I actually bought 2, one in the white color and one called Mineshaft (a dark gold beige tan color). The sleeves are nice and long as is the overall length. This coat is practically weightless so it's very comfortable to wear, yet it keeps you warm. The lining is the silver dots and they do work - they hold in your body heat. The hood needs to be bigger....I don't use the hood often but when I do, it needs to be much larger and come forward......the sleeves could have been a bit wider to accommodate a bulky sweater underneath, but I have been wearing both coats and loving them. The one thing I don't care for it the thumb holes in the sleeve lining, I guess many people like this, but to me it's just dumb. I have to always sew this closed. I went up a size.....this coat runs small.

I absolutely love this jacket. I always run warm. This jacket is perfect for that. I stay warm but am not sweating the second I put it on. When it gets too cold I layer a fleece under it and it's perfect. My only problem with this jacket was the sizing. Most of the reviews I read were that this jacket ran a tad small. I'm in-between sizes so I decided to order a size up. The jacket was so big I could have zipped a child into the jacket with me. I ordered the size down and it fits better but is still slightly big. I would recommend this jacket to anyone but DO NOT order a size up!!!!!!

I am so pleased with this coat. I wanted to spruce up my winter coat wardrobe and this has done the trick. I purchased a 2X. I love the 2 way zipper and the non-bulky design. It's been keeping me warm when the east wind howls!

Long coat is very warm considering its thin compact feel. The length is perfect and it fits true to size.

I love this coat it is the best investment I have done. It is true to its name: the coat is very very warm. it is also very lite but don't let that fool you it will keep you very warm. It is true to its size I got a 3x and it fits perfect a bit snugglly around the arms but that's if you wear a sweater underneath, I sometimes do, but you still have room to move your arms around. I love this coat so much that I an going to get my granddaughter one. Thank you Colombia great coats.

I can't believe how light-weight, yet warm this jacket is! Incredible. I did order a size up because the reviews said that it ran small. I wish I had ordered my correct size as it is a bit big on me. I was also worried it was going to be 'puffy' and I didn't need to look any puffier than I already do! It isn't puffy at all. I would buy this jacket in a shorter style or different color, that is how much I love it. The thumb holes are also an amazing add-on!

I was concerned with some reviews saying it ran small and almost got a size bigger. So glad I didn't if anything it's a little big for just regular shirts underneath but perfect to wear sweatshirts or sweaters with. Very warm for as thin as it is.

Perfect coat for the active person!!! Due to reviews stating it ran a bit small , I choose to go one size bigger and it fits perfect. Bought last years coat and it came with no hood and am in love with this years model with hood!! This coat folds up so small when not in use! I love how it keeps me warm without the bulk!!! A definite MUST HAVE!!!

I have this Jacket in black and I love it so much that I am ordering another one in a different color. Keeps me warm and well worth the money!

I absolutely love this coat. It's lightweight with incredible warmth and wind/rain protection. I like the small inside pocket to conveniently home my phone, tissues, etc. I purchased one size up so I could wear thick heavy sweaters underneath. It fits perfectly.

I love this coat. Not only does Columbia recognize that larger size woman exist and love the outdoors but they make clothing to fit. This coat is wonderfully warm, attractive looking and practical. Perfect for work and weekends running to the gym, errands etc.

I have been looking for a coat just like this, waterproof, warm, and good for packing! This fights the list! I wore it out on a boat last weekend where I purposely tried to get it wet, and I stayed dry and warm. I was pretty shocked since the coat is so light and thin... that Omni heat must be where the magic happens. I am almost 6 feet with a long torso. I wish the arms were just a little bit longer, but they do the job, luckily I don't walk like a stereotypical zombie, otherwise it might be not super comfortable. :) The 2 way zip is really great for sitting and when you want the coat closed, but still want the air flow and to show off your outfit. Thanks Columbia for making all my current coat dreams a reality. :)

I love this coat so much for winter! I teach and when I have to take the kids outside for recess or dismissal, this keeps my entire body warm. I love how it comes down over my tush and part of my thighs, and keeps me toasty. It is a very lightweight material, so I wasn't sure it was going to keep me warm enough. BUT it definitely does! I think the lining inside must trap my body heat. I am never hot in it though! I LOVE it, and I can't recommend it enough! I can't wait to try other Columbia products!

This coat has everything! It is rainproof, has a hood, is warm and is extremely soft and comfortable! Plus it folds up for travelling. High quality coat!

I am a huge fan of Columbia! I have owned several of their items over the years and this jacket is one of my favorites. It's lightweight while still being warm during the long, cold Syracuse winters and is so comfortable!!! The length is perfect for driving as it is long enough to sit on but does it interfere with your legs and doesn't ride up the way waist length jackets can. I am 5'3" and it hits mid thigh which is exactly what I was looking for. My only negative is that the zipper is quite finicky and rarely zips on the first attempt. Other than that, I love this coat!!

I am in love with this jacket. it's very warm without being bulky. I normally wear size 2X for regular clothing like shirts and blouses. but 1X in this jacket was perfect for me
