Love the fit. The length is great. Can use it as a windbreaker or layer it on a colder day. The Omni tech is amazingly warm.

Extremely lightweight for driving..shopping in stores without sweating..very very comfotable. Zips top and bottom for sitting. Pockets are deep and top convenient pocket in placard are very accessible without bulk! WINTER walking you can easily layer with fleece or sweater for more warmth. I ordered a 2nd one for colors. My daughter owns one and gave me a fabulous gift card so I am getting another one. G re at for any age and size. Unique lining is fun to wear ..feeling very special in an easily slip into warm jacket. One other thing built in sleeve hand warmers. .love them ..

Do you drive a car? Then this jacket is a must for you to have. It is very warm and comfortable to wear. A soft jacket. I love the bottom zipper you can pull up to increase your leg movement while driving. I know you will be very happy to add this jacket to your collection. It has great style and can be also worn to dress up or in sports attire.

I have another 1X jacket that fits very nicely so I got a 1X in this one as well. It is a bit bigger though. Not too much, but noticeable. I like it though b/c I can wear my heavy sweaters underneath! I wish I had a picture though b/ there are 4 of us at my work and we all have the same jacket in different colors!!! I do wish it had a little drawstring in the hood though.

I purchased this jacket for a January trip to Chicago. Even when the temperature was -1 with a wind chill of -20, I was toasty warm. The sleeve inserts that fit over the thumb are a very nice addition. I also appreciated the very thin construction of the jacket since we were flying & I needed to store the jacket for the flight. I would purchase this again without any hesitation.

This is my first long coat and I have to say I love it. It is the perfect length for day to day. The full length zipper is great. It's light weight and warm. If I was going to have a suggestion it would be for the hood only. It needs to be secured with something because I have to hold it on in the windy rainy weather running between errands. Otherwise I'm very happy with my purchase.

Love my new winter jacket. I waited a long time to order one, but when I found it on sale I couldn't resist. So warm, yet so light weight its easy to move around in.

coat is very light weight but it keep you warm for the most part, hood do not stay on and there's no string to pull tight

I saw this jacket in an outlet store but they only had the shorter length version. I was skeptical that it would keep me warm but took the chance and ordered it and I'm so glad I did. The length is perfect for me, it covers my backside fully and on me, is just shy of mid thigh in length. The zipper is of questionable quality but I can live with it because there are so many other things to love about the jacket. I've worn the jacket outside in increments of an hour so in single digit temperatures and it keeps me warm. I didn't think I would use the comfort cuffs with the thumb holes but I use them nearly every time I wear the jacket. It is super warm without being bulky and it looks so much nicer than my 12+ year old Columbia bugaboo jacket.

Bought this for my wife for Christmas and she loves it. It's light weight and great for everyday wear

I haven't had a new winter coat in over 14 yrs because I am so picky. I am that fluffy person who can't find the style I want that looks good and fits right. This coat met all my expectations and I am so happy I purchased it! I have two family memwbers who have the same coat but we all have it in different colors.

I was so tired of being cold and wet. I have this same item in a short jacket without a hood and love it so bought this longer coat version with a hood. Best and most cozy coat I've ever had.

I love this coat. This is my second winter wearing it. Its got all the warmth of a large puffy coat, but is not bulky and marshmallow man looking. I wear it almost everyday, enough protection for short time spent out in the elements. Love the spandex cuffs inside as well. For once a columbia extended size has arms long enough for me! I dinged them one box on quality, as my second year wearing it, the threads on the cross seams are starting to fray a bit. Does not hurt function, but when i look down i notice a few "hair" like threads sticking out.

The Women's Mighty Lite Hooded Jacket is the very best investment I've made in a long time. The exterior fabric keeps me dry in rainy weather & the Omni-Shield Shell keeps me very warm, even in snowy climates. The best thing about the Mighty Light Hooded Jacket is that it is true to its name! You do not need to layer clothing under it & it isn't bulky like other winter jackets. I love it!

I just received my new jacket in the mail - I love it! The length is perfect. There are lots of negative comments about the hood - to me it's just right. I like wearing a hat and the hood in combination is spot on. I ordered a size up to accommodate my chest size. My hip size does not require extra room so the jacket "bells" out more than I like but it's better than being snug in the chest. The only other drawback is minor and taste specific - I am not crazy about white stitching on a black jacket (logo). Otherwise, I'm crazy excited about my new coat for the Minnesota winter ahead.

First let me start by saying that I'm a fan of this coat. I love that it's so light weight, with that being said I live in Chicago,IL and we just experienced our first winter storm mix. I'm sad to say that this coat did not stand up very well to it. I got wet, especially my arms. I had a light jacket on underneath it and the jacket arms were also wet. My chest area did not get wet nor did it get cold. I'm not trying to detour anyone from buying this coat, just let you know that it's not completely water proof.

This coat amazes me, it is soo light but with the lining being reflective technology where it uses your warmth it really makes this coat one of a kind! Love, that it isn't super heavy! Great sizing as well. Worth , the money!

My wife is a lovely, full-figured woman. She's stylish but very practical. Wife was heartbroken when the zipper of her favorite parka, worn for years, broke. We were shopping one day when she discovered the Mighty Lite, Plus Size jacket. Wife was taken by the style, amazingly-light weight, and quality. However, we weren't buying that day. Her fortunes changed several weeks ago when I bought the jacket online. Wife absolutely loves the fit and function. Per her, it's amazingly warm, but only when it needs to be. She travels for business and the jacket is very packable. We're very pleased with this jacket!

Having previously bought a Columbia coat with an omni-heat lining I knew the lack of bulk wasn't going to be a concern. As much as I love my other omni-heat coat I might love this one more for it's additional length. Being 5' 9" it's hard to find normal coats that come down over my hips and I was pleased when this one came down to just above my knees. Previously I bought an XL in this coat but ended up returning it and buying the 1X. The XL was really tight when I put a sweatshirt on underneath it and it was snugger than I wanted around the hips. The difference between the sizes was night and day, in the 1X my bulkiest sweaters fit comfortably. The only drawbacks I have are the length of the sleeves and the zipper which I knew about after reading the reviews. If I use the thumb holes I feel like I may sever my thumbs and the zipper can be a pain on occasion, but once you get it seated properly it's fine. Those two things together though weren't enough to outweigh my love of this coat and it's warmth with the omni-heat lining.

The coat is very lightweight, I dislike a heavy jacket! It is so light that I was worried about the warmth of it but I wore it on a very cold and windy day and I was very warm! I love the light weight, not puffy and very, very warm...going to order another color!

I recently moved from AZ back to Indiana. The weather got quickly cold and windy. I ordered this coat and received it within just a couple days (thank goodness). My favorite thing is that it is warm but not bulky nor heavy. It's even comfortable to wear in the car. Price was very reasonable. I normally wear a 1X but ordeed a 2X based on a review and it fits perfectly.

The coat was a gift and recipient is quite happy! I already purchased 2 more coats! Thank you!
