There are two adjustable straps on this shoe. Why the third is non-adjustable I can't imagine. Because of that the shoe was too wide at the front and I had to return it. I tried a size down, but the European sizing does not allow for half-sizes, so the size eight was too short. I'm having more and more trouble finding narrow sizes in shoes that are attractive.

I love my other Taos sandals and boots, but returned these. The quality is good, but nowhere near the arch support of the Trulie or Eleanor styles. I like the way these look, but knew that with my difficult feet they just would work.

After years of wearing flat leather sandals to walk everywhere, I decided that it was high time to get some real walking sandals. How hard could it be to find simple, unassuming ones that didn't scream "old lady"? Well, it's turning out to not be so simple. I tried Taos, Naot, and Aetrex. Naot, though they fit, felt on the narrow side, so I took them out of the running (Dorith was nice looking, though). Aetrex has quite a selection and definitely is the most stylish of the brands, but none was quite right (Evie didn't stay on my foot, Gabby had a heat-trapping sole). I was also concerned about quality because they're the only ones made in China. Taos is by far the most comfortable on my high-arched, normal-width foot, but unfortunately their sandals also seem to be the frumpiest. The Trophy is the simplest one I could find, and it's fine, but with the multitude of straight straps it's not particularly flattering. I also don't understand why, with the panoply of color options, they don't have a classic tobacco/cognac leather. The blush and pewter are fine, but it's just another strike against a classic look. Considering everything, these are the ones I'll keep, though, and hopefully Taos at some point hires someone with a better sense of style.

The white color is not a true white, it is slightly off white, It was also too casual for what I wanted.

Loved this sandal, but as another reviewer noted, the curved footbed by the toes caused my toes to feel jammed up against it with every step. I knew that I could never walk several miles in this shoe. Unfortunately sizing up didn't help me, it was just too long.

No matter how much I adjusted the straps, these shoes made my size 5.5 feet look like boats and the style was way too Birkenstock for my taste. Granted, they were a size 6, but I can often get away with a 6 even though my feet are slightly smaller.

I need sandals that provide support due to issues with my feet and arthritis in the knee. These were cute and would have looked nice, but after wearing them around the house for the past three hours, I am returning them. The shoe just seems too small and the straps have been adjusted as much as possible. (The top strap does not adjust.) I will keep looking.

Shoe gets wider at ball of foot & toes. Support is ok at heel but not under ball of foot or toes. I'm used to wearing Dansco Vera with cork support under the whole foot.
I'd also recommend:
Dansco, possibly Munro

I did not think these had good arch support at all. Not compared to other Taos styles i have tried. I had to send them back because i felt my ankles rolling and heel pain almost immediately in them. They were also too narrow in the toe strap for me. Sent them back.

This one was totally lacking arch support. Strangely, it felt a little too large size wise but could have been a little roomier width wise. Super cute shoe but not for me unfortunately.

I wanted these shoes to work but they are just too narrow. I also had to go a full size up to get an appropriate fit lengthwise.

I purchased the "White"; however, it is an off-white or very light tan. I love the sandal, fit, comfort & style, but will return.

Utterly disappointed that these didn't work for me. I could tell they would be incredibly comfortable but after trying both the 38 and 39, I gave up. My pinky toe kept popping out from the straps. Bummer. Bought the Trulie instead.

I wanted to love these shoes. Look at those reviews! The footbed is soft and lovely, and the color is nice. But... the style leans a bit into the old lady shoe category, accentuating canckles and just kind of... boring? They probably look great on skinny legs with bony ankles. The size is just a hair small - my right foot is a solid 10, while my left is 9.5-10, and I feel like I have to fight to keep the toes on my right foot from escaping over the end. Tightening the front strap just put too much pressure on where I assume I will soon have bunions. I'll be doing a lot of walking in these for an upcoming trip, and I'm a little concerned about it.

Love the style of this shoe! I was upset because I have an average size foot width wise but these sandals just were way too wide for me. Because of that, my foot slipped around and so I didn't feel like the sandal was secure on my foot. Shame, they are very quality shoe and had nice arch support and cushioning.

I really wanted to like these. But I have a super-high arch and instep, and I could barely get the strap around my ankle. I loosened up the strap on the top of my foot, but it was the strap on my toes that grew painful after a few minutes and which cannot be modified. So I'm sending them back.

Stylish, loved the teal color. Looked like it had great arch support, but the foot bed is flat. It has an arch, that is more in silhouette only. Very dissapointing.

The color is definitely not a light silver color like I was expecting. They look more gold than silver. I'm very fussy about getting the correct metal color so I had to send them back. If they'd been a light silver, I would have kept them.

I own 2 other pairs of Taos sandals which I love, so I thought this pair would be comfortable too. Unfortunately, they are not. Although the length is true to size and the width is perfect, (I wear a size 11) the leather straps are rather flimsy, and the footbed is not cushioned and unsupportive. They are being returned.

First off, I wanted a darker denim blue color, so I ordered what they call "vintage blue". Well, the second I opened the box I knew I'd be sending these back, because they are NOT blue, they are prominantly more GREY(!). They don't even look blue. :-( Also, only 2 of the straps adjust, the one closest to the toes does not adjust, so it was too wide there for me. The ankle strap was too floppy (non-adjustable also). These had potential, but miss the mark. Its too bad, as I like the sleek style.

The fit of the shoe was okay but I was wanted a teal color sandal. This was quite green. I didn't care for the color.

These are great sandals, however, I am returning the bronze reptile pair to get one of the other leathers (non-reptile). The reptile leather seems stiff and gives the sandals a very different feel than the other two pairs of same Taos sandals I own/owned. Something is just different about the feel of the reptile material and affects the overall comfort.

Oh my, I LOVED how these sandals look! However, the foot bed is extraordinarily uncomfortable. There are strange bumps that hit just WRONG on my feet. Had bought for Europe and now have to return. What a shame. Beware the painful foot beds!!
