I have two pair of this style of Taos sandals purchased several years ago and love their comfort and versatility. The "vintage silver" color of the pair I just received has a noticeable brown overtone -- more like a light bronze, overall. Also, they are a solid half size smaller than the same size in the sandals I purchased previously.

These sandals were not as comfortable as I had hoped they would be, but they were not terrible either. The footbed is cushioned, with moderate arch support. It is true to size. I didn't like the look of the sandal in person much at all though and ended up sending them back.

Very cute sandal. Unfortunately, I had to return them as the front strap irritated my little toes.

I am in between a 9 and a 10. I got a 9 since the 10s were sold out. At first they were ok, but when I walked more in them on concrete they hit my foot in all the wrong places. Probably fine shoes, just be sure to get the right size.

I am a size 7.5. Tried 7 but was a little short. Tried 8, but ...Nice shoe, but my feet can't get used to the toe bar. I wish it didn't have a toe bar. Just another bump that doesn't fit all feet. Sending it back.

These are super cute sandals that fit perfectly on the right foot, but not so much on the left. Because my left foot is *slightly* smaller than the right, it doesn't rest in the very comfortable contoured footbed as perfectly as the right. This is slightly uncomfortable. I'm hoping that over time, I can wear in the left one so that it fits just as well but I'm nervous. And a bit disappointed.

I bought this sandal in the bronze. Great color that works with everything. I have a 9-1/2 foot, so I went with the size down. That does work fairly well for fit. The velcro is great and fits around my ankles fine. The thing is that I have plantar faciitis and this shoe does nothing to help that condition. By lunch I am hurting. I thought the arch support would be enough to help support my foot and help with the pain, but it isn't enough. That is why I gave it 3 stars for comfort. If you do not have PF, you'll love these shoes; if you do, approach with caution. It isn't something you would know just walking around the house with them for 10 minutes. It takes hours of wear to figure out the support of the sole is inadequate. And for me this shoe fell short in that department. I'll still wear them, but not for days where I am on my feet too much.

Ordered this shoe because of all the great reviews for a month-long trip to Japan. I ended up not taking them because I was disappointed to find that they aren't comfortable to walk in for more than a couple miles. They are also quite slippery on damp sidewalks. I've been wearing them around Portland and I often feel my feet slip on damp (not even completely wet) sidewalks. This is one of my biggest shoe pet peeves!! 5 stars for style because they look great! I got the stone color and I love it. 3 for comfort because, unlike most people who've reviewed this shoe, I can't stand being in them for more than a mile or two. The outer edge of the shoe curls up a little bit. That part in particular makes my feet ache after a while. If they were just a millimeter wider, they'd be perfect for my foot. It has a pretty hard sole that I just don't find comfortable. People have said they have great arch support... I find it to be just moderate. The toe area has plenty of room, that's a plus. Overall I'm disappointed that I spent so much money on what were very promising shoes. I only still wear them because I paid so much money.

I have narrow feet and only the second toe strap was adjustable.

The front strap hit my little toes at the wrong place and the sandals were uncomfortable. The other two straps are adjustable but this one is not. I liked the white color, it is not overly bright.

Have previously purchased black Trophy about 3 years ago. LOVED them! These, not so much. Although the underside of strapping is leather, upper "bronze" is not. Seems very plastic, and not as foot forming as leather throughout. Also, length of shoe itself is a tad shorter than previous purchase.

These shoes are beautiful and fit properly, but they don't have enough shock absorption for me, so they have to go back. I'm sad :(

These sandals are very comfortable, have good support and the toe box and heel straps are easy to adjust to one's comfort level. They are, for me, unattractive.

I LOVE the look of these shoes on my feet, BUT as other reviewers have said there IS something about that front toe strap that causes a problem. I ended up putting these in the donation bin after learning the hard way that these were responsible for a very painful callous/blister on my forth toe. I didn't want to believe it was these shoes because I think they are very cute (and have them in two colors).

Such a cute shoe. However the toe bump- you know where the shoe has a little bump that is supposed to go just under your toes, hit my foot in the wrong spot. If it weren't for that. they would have been fine. I had to return them.

The foot base was comfortable the straps were well made. My issue with the shoe is that the strap over the top rubbed a sore on my foot even when I loosened. Too bad the look is cute.

I wear a 7 and these were too short. My toes were nearly hanging over the edge. There are no half sizes and I'm afraid the 8 will be too long, but I may give them a try, in a different color. The vintage silver did not look like the picture and were not attractive. There was a brownish color sprayed over the silver and it was not sprayed evenly. They were very shiny. The pros: These sandals have excellent arch support and the foot bed was wonderfully comfortable during the short period I tried them on. They seemed like they would be a great walking shoes.

Cute shoe but prefer a thicker/cushier foot bed. Probably okay for short wear time or sitting. Wouldn't recommend for long distance walking.

I have a narrow foot and once I placed the velcro across it puts the center horizontal strap too far off center, looked odd. Too bad, cause it was a soft leather and cute style.

There is a bump on the inside of the sandal that's suppose to fit under your toes (I guess for support) which hurt my feet. Also, the sandal does not have much cushion, which made them even more uncomfortable. Not much arch support either -- although I have a very high arch.

I had high hopes for these sandals after reading reviews. I wore them around the house and wasn't sure how they felt. The minute I took them on a walk around a mall, they started giving me blisters on my pinkie toes. Zappos was kind enough to let me return them anyways.

Sadly these are treated with an anti-microbial chemical and they smell worse than any stinky foot ever could! Otherwise they seem pretty comfortable and very cute. I have high arches and they support on one foot but not the other but I think that is probably just me and not the sandals. They are not as cushioned as I would have expected from the reviews.

The shoes are adorable. However I have to return them because they're too big. I wear a 7 1/2 but these don't come in half sizes so I ordered an 8 and it's too long. I also have high arches and there's not enough arch support.

Sadly, these are going back and I am still searching for a great sandal to replace my amazing Taos from 4 years ago. Taos used to fit me perfectly and be extremely comfortable with good arch support, but they have changed their footbed. They are a little more narrow and don't have as much cushion or support. This shoe is okay, but not the super comfortable shoe I was expecting, especially for the price.
