I wear size 7.5-8. Taos #8 Moderate arch support. Soft leather. Velcro everywhere. The impressions on foot bed too hard for my sensitive foot. Returned.

I liked these, but not quite enough. I have very high arches and slightly wide feet and I found these to be a bit narrow and not high enough in the arches. I love the color and how they feel across my toes. I'm still debating on keeping them, but for the price, I would prefer more arch support. Another one bites the dust.

Wore to Disney. Good arch support. Did feel a little rubbing on my baby toe and slight blister on my heel but I think that was bearable when you are walking so much without really breaking the shoes in. Plus my feet were out of sandal shape. The style is ok for a walking sandals and the bronze color is versatile. I would not recommend for dressing up but worked ok for casual shorts outfits.

Almost but not quite for me. I have a really hard time finding sandals to fit. My slightly narrow foot usually does okay in mediums, but sandals pose a problem. On the plus side, these are pretty cute. The Light Gold Reptile is more of a platinum mixed with black. It's fairly subtle as metallics go and would be a good neutral. However, the straps were of a stiffer leather than the solid black ones, which were more supple, flexible, and comfortable. The straps are all lined with a soft, suede-like material that provides cushioning and blister protection. No rough edges like so many sandals have. The velcro straps across the instep and ball of foot area help customize fit. But they strap over the toes doesn't adjust and my foot just looks a little bit lost in them. The foot bed is soft and nicely cushioned, but it doesn't have sufficient arch support for my high arches. If they fit you, I think they'd be a comfortable option for a walking sandal. I wish they came in narrows.

Good fit, flexible, rubber soles and a great walking shoe. The downside is If your feet sweat as much as mine, the footbed will start to smell and more arch support would be better.

I bought this sandal for a trip to Australia. I love the thin straps and style of this shoe. I have narrow feet and like that I can adjust the velcro straps to get it tight enough. The only thing I don't like about this shoe is the footbed has a metatarsal arch that is uncomfortable to me. I'm not sure it hits my foot in the right place. I love the arch support but I'm not sure yet if I will keep this sandal because of the metatarsal arch. I'm going to try it in the house for a while to decide.

I've had these shoes for a while now and they are very comfortable. My one complaint is there is a velcro adjustment on the toe strap portion and it rubs a little sometimes. It isn't a deal breaker though. They are a little hippy looking in the style department which isn't my favorite, but for a comfortable walking sandal they do the job.

The first day I owned these shoes I went for a long walk, and got some nasty blisters on both heels. I think they'll be fine with some breaking in, but other reviews made me think there wouldn't be a break-in period. Other than this, they are a nice mix of cute style with decent support. My usual size is a 7, so that's what I got, but I think they run a little small so 7.5 would have been a better choice. Despite a few issues, I'm keeping the shoes, and I think they will be good long term.

I sent these back because only 2 out of 3 straps are adjustable. The smallest toe-strap is not, and so it was just too confining for me. Also, there was this weird ridge around the edge of the footbed. My foot often slips off the edge of a sandal, and that seemed like it would be uncomfortable. I'm sure it's a great shoe for most, but not for me.

After reading the rave reviews, I purchased the taos footwear trophy in vintage gold. They are very cute, have great arch support, suede footbeds and Velcro closings making it easy to adjust for my narrow pronating feet. However, I could not wear them for more than a short time around the house because of the rather strange ridge across the top of the footbed. It was extremely uncomfortable. Sadly, I can’t return them as I no longer have the original shoe box.

I got a season and a half of regular use out of these, which is the main reason I'm ranking them four stars instead of five. These are incredible comfortable, allowing me to walk all day on all sorts of surfaces and still feel supported. They are also very stylish and I can dress them up or down. They have the support and many features of a hiking sandal, but look like a business casual sandal. I also love the velcro easy on/off. I was very disappointed when the strap on one broke after only wearing them for a season and a half (which in Boston is less than four months in total). Due to the durability I won't be buying them again. As a comparison, my last Merrils lasted years. For the price I really expected them to last longer.

Really cute sandal and very comfortable, too! My only complaint is that the arch support is only fair. Unsure how this sandal would be for a full day of walking.

Good support but not at all cushioned. Was a little disappointed as they are not as comfortable as I thought they would be.

These are really comfortable for walking a mile or two, but they need a little breaking in before I can wear them for more walking than that. The ankle and arch strap are adjustable, but the toe strap is not. When I walked 5 miles in them I got blisters on my toes and back of both ankles. The sole is very supportive and I feel that the upper straps will stretch and mold to my foot eventually. The color is attractive, but they look a little clunkier than I was hoping.

I was hoping for something practical yet dressy and these mostly fit the bill. They are a little more granola than I was expecting, but the real problem was the lumpy foot bed. Even though the length was correct, it felt like the arch support was half way under the ball of my foot. Have to return them, unfortunately.

Just got these and I really like them! comfortable, solid fit, and so far, no sweaty feet. I need a pair of sandals with adjustable cross straps due to the fact that my right foot swells slightly more than my left foot. Go Figure! I can adjust them and continue on my way. The T strap also moves a little, not sewn in place, so it doesn't have to be right over your toe if that bothers you. The burnt orange color is more like a tan color. Not orange. I like it. Keepers!!

Cute and comfortable but runs short. I wish this came in half sizes because I think a 9.5 would be perfect. Returning my size 9 and trying a size 10.

I was looking for cute, non-clunky sandals for my feet, which have multiple issues. These were very comfy, right out of the box. The heel strap is padded, so no "breaking in blisters." The front strap is adjustable, but I didn't even need to adjust it for my big bunions. The toe grip on the sole does somewhat annoy me, maybe because my toes don't land in the standard spot due to said bunions. The arch support is pretty good even for my high arches, and doesn't bother my plantar fasciitis. The sandals are cute for a comfort shoe, but still a bit more earthy than I would like--maybe even thinner straps, ditching the contrast stitching, and a sole the same color as the straps would dress them up a tad. I hoped that for the price of this shoe I could get everything I was looking for. Alas, my search for a comfy and fashionable sandal continues. That said, I guarantee I will be walking my dogs around the neighborhood in these every day this summer.

Great comfy shoe for walking, I normally wear an 8.5, but they only came whole sizes, so I ordered a 9 and they fit perfectly.

Style, quality, and comfort of this sandal are all excellent. Very versatile. Sizing was really the only area of issue for me. I normally wear a 7.5 or 8, so after reading other reviews, I ordered 7 since sandals usually run too big for me. I think an 8 would have been better, but it was too hard to be sure before wearing them out a few times.

LOVE-HATE relationship with these shoes. Soles? I put them on and understood why my mother has been on my case for years to buy "comfy and supportive" shoes. I had never felt anything like this when I put it on. Ive always gone for cute over comfort, and fashion over function. But for a trip to NYC w/ full long days of walking, I knew my hurting feet and legs needed some mercy. I chose these in navy, and it was a dark muted dull almost black shade of navy. They are also SLIGHTLY more "matronly" looking in style than I would have hoped, and definitely more-so than a few of the others I ordered. Can cute AND comfy exist in the same world? ;) I did take them with me "just in case" to NYC, new in box and all, along with the Clarks Reid Newports in Cognac (LOVE the neutral color) and the Crocs Meleen in the Blue. I have to say, these Taos were more comfy on my foot when I tried them on at home compared to the Clarks, but I chose the clarks b/c I did like the look and color better...and although a little heavier, they (the clarks) were fine for the first 7 hr day of walking in NYC. I packed the Taos as my emergency backup but didn't need them. ;) Then the 2nd LONG day of 13 hrs of walking, I chose to wear the Crocs Meleen in blue. THESE are awesome ladies! The most comfy, lightweight, heavenly shoes ever. ZERO foot and leg pain at the end of the day, a first for me. I had a lovely strapless maxi dress in shades of blue for that day, hence why I chose these Taos and the Crocs in blue. BUT for me, day to day, I didn't think I would like these dark dull navy Taos, and didn't want to waste the money b/c I chose them for one outfit. HOWEVER, now that Im back home, and didn't need to wear them in NY, they are so great in comfort that I plan to exchange them in a more neutral color that I think I'll get more wear and use out of in the long run. I am so thankful I also chose the Crocs Meleen though, I KNOW from now on, they may be my go-to for all day on my feet or walking! ;)

I so wanted to be able to keep these sandals, as they were very comfortable...until I walked around on our hardwood floors for awhile. At that point, the toe ridge caused pain under my toes, probably because I have bad feet! I have no doubt that someone with no structural foot issues will find these very comfortable and stylish! So sad.

I bought these for walking the Great Wall, and the cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, Seattle, and Alaska. I was caught in a downpour in Shanghai and naturally, I gave up trying to keep them dry and just decided not to fight it and walk through four-inch puddles. Guess what? The sandals were dry and ready to go the next morning, having just left them out in the hotel room to air dry. Buyers, please note: These sandals are beige, not white. I am considering eliminating the strap which goes vertically up the shoe, as it's not necessary to the function of the shoe, and I don't want that unnecessary tan line which it will create. The instep arch is solid, and the outer portion did annoy my foot, and then it wouldn't, then it would, then it wouldn't. I wish they made the center width of the shoe under the arch just a smidge wider so when one takes a step, the fleshy part of the arch itself doesn't come in contact with the hard part of the shoe's arch support. Other than that, these are great! Would recommend.

I get compliments on this shoe (gold) and can wear all day. It looks good with skirts/capris. If I wear all day, sometimes it does cause irritation on back heel, but overall it is comfortable unless you are wearing for the first time or very long hours. Would buy again.
