Cute, sturdy shoe--I appreciate how Taos' designs these sandals to allow for adjustment in three different places on the foot. I need a cushier footbed, so must keep looking, but think this would be a great summer staple if you have a less high-maintenance foot! :-)

These are terrific sandals. I have wide feet with a high instep. This is a tough foot to fit. I am also overweight which makes it tough on my feet in general. I took a chance on these after seeing an ad for them on Instagram. I am so pleased I did. The only tweaking I had my shoemaker do was a small insert of elastic on the strap for ease. The first day I wore them I was over the moon. I had been walking with a slight limp due to an injured knee. These sandals allowed me to walk without a limp due to their superior architecture. I bought two more pairs even as we head into August. Next summer these gems will be waiting!

I wanted a white sandal. These are more of a bone color. Returned

I wanted to love these as much as I love my black pair. I got them in white, but they are more off white than pure white. Sadly they are going back.

Love the look and tried to make them fit right. My heel drifts off the back to the inside regardless of how I adjusted the straps. A slightly deeper heel cup would make all the difference.

I love how this shoe looks and fits. However; I have bony feet and need more cushioning so with regret I'm sending back.

There are no half sizes of this shoe unfortunately. I ended up keeping the size 7 over the 8. I normally wear a 7.5 in most shoes and a size 8 in Nike sneakers. In the size 7, my feet fit snugly all the way to the ends of the shoe. In the size 8, it looked fine (there was what looked like a fine amount of space in front of the toes), but the overall fit was just a little too loose, even with the adjustable Velcro. I would recommend sizing down if you find yourself in half sizes, unless you have a wide foot and can sort of “fill in” the sandal a bit better, in which case sizing up might be better. Regarding comfort in general, I like how these sandals don’t have a big toe ring or straps that otherwise rub and irritate the toes, and they have substantial enough support that I can imagine spending some time walking in them. To me, no sandal is as comfortable as a regular old cheap flip flop, but I think my feet are better supported walking around in these.

I ordered the Taos because I was looking for some cute flat sandals that would have good arch support and were comfortable enough to wear for a few hours. I read many of the reviews and they were very good. The sandals have very good arch support, but I was very surprised that the sole did not have more cushion. They are very hard. They seem to get more comfortable as I wear them, but I expected they would have more cushion after hearing several people wearing them all day. I don't think I could wear them all day without having problems. Although it was not that much of an issue that I wanted to return them because they are very cute and the arch support is very good. Overall a good sandal.

Love the look and feel, but they seem about 1/4 size smaller than what I would like. Also, purchased for a Sept trip to Europe and thinking I'd like more coverage, so will select something else instead.

I bought the red color. They are actually a brownish red, but still a nice color that goes with jeans and shorts and most casual clothes. Not as pretty as I would like for wearing with dresses. Super comfortable right out of the box. I have a long second toe, arthritis in my feet, and other issues, and these sandals are great for all that!

They're cute and the foot bed is very comfortable. However, the ankle strap has a very short Velcro strip. This would be great for someone with regular-sized or small ankles. It fits great when first put on, but my ankles tend to swell at the end of the workday, so I'm sure these would choke my feet. Overall, they're lovely sandals and I've reluctantly returned them. Hope someone else will enjoy them.

This would be a PERFECT shoe but for one issue. They are super-comfy right out of the box, with three adjustable straps, and no slipping anywhere thanks to the heel strap. Very cute, nice and airy for summer. My one reservation is the anti-microbial treatment, which is unnecessary in such an open shoe, and contains nano-silver, which can be absorbed through your skin and into your bloodstream, then into your cells. Taos, please consider this before just adding it to your shoes! Almost sent them back because of this, but they are so darn cute & comfy I decided to keep them. However, would not purchase again because of the nano-silver.

This is a good looking shoe; unfortunately it hit my bad toe in the wrong place so I had to return. I wear 11 in shoes but sometimes 10 in sandals. I would have kept the 10. The vintage silver looked gold, but the blue was a nice dusky blue.

So far so good with these sandals. I purchased them in the vintage blue and I really like the color, it's much softer than a black but still relatively dark and neutral to wear with many outfits. I ordered a size 40 as I'm typically a US 9 and they fit really well. The shoe has a soft suede padding so it's very soft on the bottom of the foot which I like quite a lot. I have feet that are slender and a small ankle so the adjustability is great. A minor complaint is the right shoe's arch support doesn't quite hit my foot right. It's possible that this is an issue with my foot rather than the shoe, but I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this. Taos used to make there shoes in Portugal, and they've move to China which I find a bit of a bummer. I hope the quality holds up as other Taos product has. Overall I find this shoe comfortable and stylish. It's got a fair amount of support without being too bulky.

These sandals are just fine and would probably work well for many people. They just weren't perfect for me. The build and feel remind me very much of Merrills, which I've liked and worn for a long time. I have some foot issues though and I'm just looking for something different now. I tried a pair of Naot sandals at the same time that I tried these, and I preferred the feel of the Naot cork foot bed. This seemed like a decent shoe for the average sandal wearer though.

Cushy, good for wide feet, straps in the right places.

SO comfortable- planning to wear them all over Europe- great walking sandal. I have a neuroma and need metatarsal support so it's really hard to find sandals that have enough support- this fit the bill without being too 'mommish'.

I really wanted to love these shoes. The footbed was extremely supportive (except as noted below), and the back strap was the most comfortable I've ever experienced. HOWEVER, there are ridges in the footbed that are designed to go between the ball of your foot and your toes (underneath the toe joints) but they hit me on the very front of the ball of my foot. I am sure this increases the comfort exponentially if it hits right, but for me they were just a tad bit off, enough to make them extremely uncomfortable. I couldn't adjust them to make it work, unfortunately.

These shoes seem to be very well made and are a cute casual sandal. They run true to size and are comfortable on the foot. Unfortunately, although there is good arch support, there is no cushioning in the soles so there is too much impact for my sore knees. I had to return them.

These are a really cute sandal. I was unable to make them comfortable for my foot with the ankle strap style, even after adjusting closure.

I LOVE Taos shoes and sandals--great quality at a fair price / not-always-crazy expensive. So I was delighted to see this less-than-insanely priced pair of sandals. If you have normal feet, these will be wonderful. On these you can adjust the straps to fit snugly, even on low-volume feet and I believe you could easily remove the t-strap if you wanted just plain scrappy sandals. I loved the teal color I ordered and could see using these a lot, but as soon as I put them on the arch support that is in my Taos Crave boots and Trulie sandals just isn't there. There is some arch support, but not enough for my cranky feet. I ordered the much more expensive Eleanor sandals (same footbed as the Trulie), and they are much more comfortable. So with great regret I am returning these. I'd love it if they would make some leaf green sandals and some teal sandals on the more supportive footbeds in the rest of their line. The blush looks really nice too, but I found the woven straps and design of the Trulie (which come in blush) not the best for my feet. Hope this helps.

Very comfortable though I ordered the Vintage Silver and it seems to have a lot more "gold" in it than I anticipated.

I ordered this in the New Bronze color and just love how it looks. Such cute sandals! I have high arches, though, and I've noticed these shoes don't give quite as much arch support as I'd like. Too bad you can't fit orthotics into sandals. I'd say they have moderate arch support, which is probably fine for most people. I wore them around today and in every other way they were incredibly comfortable from the moment I put them on. I'm keeping them because I love how they look and think I can live with the less than perfect arch support. I may not be able to wear them for 6 or more hours of serious walking as some of the other reviewers were able to, but I think they'll be fine for less strenuous activities this summer.

I got this shoe in 39, almost always wear an 8-1/2 and it fit well. The grey/blue color is really nice, as is the leather. The footbed is comfortable, but the arch support isn't as good as the slightly higherTaos Trullie). I have high arches and like arch support, so that coupled with the design is just a bit boring for me, so I returned it.

I love the look of these sandals, but the straps across my toes are rubbing a blister. I am trying to wear them a moderate amount each day to stretch them. I have returned too many shoes because of this problem, I thought I would try to wait and see if they stretch out. When I first put them on my feet, I thought they were heavenly, so I wore them outside. It was only later that I realized that this pinching little toe prevents me from wearing them.
