So comfortable! I have very high arches and this shoe gives good arch support. It's perfect as a casual shoe. It says it's black but could also pass for dark brown. Very versatile.

I purchased a size 8, instead of 7, although I normally purchase a 7.5, which was not an option.Glad I did-they were a little large, but I was able to easily adjust with the velcro straps-These are incredibly comfortable, so I purchased in another color-I don't regret it at all!!!!

My feet can kindly be called stubby. They're short with a high arch and wide instep. Most shoes that are wide enough to fit me will have an inch of empty space at the toe. This is fine in closed-toe shoes, but it looks ridiculous in sandals to have a disproportionate empty space hanging out at the front end.
These sandals fit perfectly lengthwise, and the adjustable instep strap gave me the width I needed. Half an inch of unused velcro is visible both on the instep strap and the ankle strap, but there's enough overlap that the straps don't pop off under strain.
The sole is springy, with a velvety top layer so there's no annoying squish/smack as with smooth-soled sandals. The bottom soles are good and grippy on the ground.
I'm overjoyed and now all I can think about is which other color to order.

I am keeping these after several tries with Ahnu, Naturalizer, and Naya. They have an extra padded area on the heel strap which makes them extra comfortable. I have a narrow foot (although a B width usually works for me) and these fit perfectly.

Good for a narrower foot. I was looking for a white sandal that I could walk in but was also a little dressy and had: a back strap that was adjustable and maybe adjustable over the toes, a footbed that was not slippery. I finally found this sandal that turned out to have all those requirements. I did quite a bit of walking in these shoes and my only problem was with the right one where I developed a killer blister just under the first two toes because of the raised portion on the footbed. My left foot was very happy and after I made a pinhole in the blister the right one was fine and I was a happy walker again. This was my first pair of Taos and I highly recommend them. I also highly recommend Zappos for letting me try so many shoes until finding the right ones.

My new favorite shoes. Ever. Even better than a nice new pair of Birkenstocks. I just adore them, delightful right out of the box...and that almost never happens for me, since I have feet like Fred Flintstone. These provide wonderful support without looking clunky and the vertical front strap design helps minimize my big feet. The best part is the suede footbed that has a ridge of support that snugs right up between your toes and the ball of the foot -- heavenly! All my friends at work were asking about them -- they are so cute and different. Taos is my new best friend!

I love these Taos sandals and have more than one pair. You can't go wrong with these. They slip on and off easily with velcro strap. The soles are so comfy. My feet are wider in the front and these sandals are made to fit my type of foot. I highly recommend them.

I love these sandals! I have a wide foot and can wear these because of the velcro adjustments. Unlike my Teva sandals, however, when these are made larger it doesn't cause the velcro to show. I wish they had a tad bit more arch support but I have a high arch so I think they would be great for an average foot. These will be great for travel. The silver color gives them a little something extra with a dress but not so fancy that you couldn't wear them with jean shorts.

I don't ordinarily wear flats, but I needed a summer sandal that would look good with clothes that look weird in heels. I bought the two metallic colors which were the bronze and black and the pewter and black. The metallic dresses up the otherwise sort-of bland look. I chose this sandal because I have narrow feet, and the Velcro straps allow me to tighten them as necessary. I can't believe how comfortable these sandals are! I'm glad I got both the bronze and pewter, because between the two, they will go with blue jeans, with black jeans, and with various other colors.

Completely love love love this sandal. I bought it in black and light gold, and they are SO CUTE and SO COMFORTABLE I bought a back-up black pair and another pair in orange spice. When I love something this much, I make sure to stock up... My only request is a version with a black footbed instead of tan.

I like these sandals very much. I wear sneakers most of the time for work and play so my feet aren't always comfortable in any other kind of shoe. Love, love, love this sandal. I got the embossed pewter and all those little curlicues are so cute! Caution: while one reviewer found the metallic finish muted, for me it was bright -- not shiny bright like patent, but definitely a soft glow. But it makes the embossing pop in a most gorgeous way. The sandals are adjustable at the top and side, which is terrific. These are my second pair of Taos and they are as comfortable as the first style I bought (Treasure).

I just started wearing Taos last year. It took a few months to break in my last sandal, but after I felt comfortable in it -- oh boy, I was hooked. There is such good padding in the sole and it is very well made. The leather is great and keeps its color. Also, they are very fashionable - compared to my Keen's which I also love. So, this is all I wear now -- Keen's for rough walking and Taos for light days and evenings. Yes, I am retired and don't dress up anymore. Enjoy life.

I have skinny feet (normal width, just skinny), so unfortunate have to return these. They're well made and very cute and would recommend you try them if you have normal full feet. Even with adjusting them to the thinnest, my toes were just not filling out the front end properly and looked funny with gaps next to my big toe. Bummer for me.

Very happy with these...they are quite comfortable and are attractive enough to wear with dresses. They don't have quite as much arch support as what I hoped but still fine. If you need a lot of support though and plan to do a lot of walking in them you may want to look at other options. They also have just one adjustable strap which is fine for me but if you typically need more adjustability (ie. across the toes) then you may want to look at others. The "dove" color is very neutral and works well with any color outfit.

These sandals are really attractive, but disappointing that Taos doesn't have half sizes. I wear an 8.5 shoe, and so the size 8 is too small and the 9 is a bit big. At least they're adjustable, and so will keep the 9 and return the 8. Also,I was hoping for great arch support, but, unfortunately, the footbed is fairly squishy, and so I won't be wearing them for long walks.
