Excellent quality and style! Shoe runs a bit narrow for my foot, but not enough to be concerned.

Got these to wear to work on casual days. Get a lot of positive compliments. Very comfortable.

Love love love these shoes. The hubs is a big AE fan but I picked these out for wearing with jeans. Every time he's worn them women compliment his shoes. I'm sure men love them too - most just won't say it!!

The Strandmok is another fabulous Allen Edmonds shoe. I have worn Allen Edmonds shoes for over 30 years. Some have lasted me that long. I expect this one will too. The unique design garners compliments everywhere. The fit is very comfortable, although it does take several wearing to break them in, as they start out a bit stiff. The burnished leather gives the shoes a time worn appearance that compliment jeans to dress pants. And they are made in Wisconsin by skilled American craftsmen.

High quality, classy, stylish. My fourth pair of Allen Edmonds shoes. Very happy.

Dressy casual kicked up a notch. Besides the quality, style, looks and fit, I am happy to find a product "made in the USA"...

Funny - before buying these I was reading reviews where people mention the compliments the get on their shoes. First day wearing these someone says, "hey - nice shoes". 7th or 8the pair of AES and a great go to casual shoe.

First, I have to say this shoe fits well and was comfortable right out of the box. The styling and slightly distressed look make it a good match with dress pants for more formal occasions, but easily paired with jeans for a casual look. Very happy with this purchase.

Love this shoe. Looks sharp and is appropriate for dress or casual. Goes well with Khakis or jeans. Very comfortable, and no foot fatigue after hours of city walking.

I have had these shoes for three weeks now and have never received so many compliments on a pair of shoes. Strangers come up to me when I'm out and about and ask where I got them. I'm not used to this kind of attention.

Purchased these after not having Allan Edmonds on my feet for quite some time.. great style and fit that demonstrate highest quality.. one small mistake on sole stiching but barely noticeable.

I own a pair or two of AE shoes... enough that folks assume I have stock in the company. So when I receive compliments on my shoes from people who see me in AE almost every day, it says something about the distinctive look of that shoe. These Strandmok's are just such a shoe, and with the red laces and typical AE craftsmanship, don't think twice... get em!

This shoe adroitly translates the traditional styling of the oxford into a idiom somewhere between classy casual and semi-formal, with a touch of grunge - just right for the Northwest USA! I ordered mine in size 10 D and they fit just about perfectly out of the box. A few days of wear and I'm sure I won't have to qualify the last part of that sentence. This is my fifth pair of AEs and they share their brethren's high quality and attention to detail. I like them so much I will soon be ordering a pair in black chromexcel with blue soles - too cool!

I really like the Strandmoks with the Dainite soles. I have several pairs, and wear them to all occasions--from formal/dress-up to kick around Saturday outings with my wife. They always look great with jeans or slacks, even working nicely with my Sunday best. Really a nice, classy shoe!

This shoe looks and feels great. I love them. They can go dressy or casual. Just bought the same pair in black.

This is a nice pair of shoes. It does run about 1/2 size large as compared to my other pair from Allen Edmonds.

This review is about the brown color Strandmok shoes. Wonderful quality, great fit and feels so good and comfortable wearing them. As I did not like the light color of the welt, I quickly dyed the welt and heel areas to match the upper leather color. Loving them. Will certainly buy Black as well when these are available.

This is my 4th pair of Strandmok's and my 12th pair of AE's. The shoe actually feels quite heavy compared to other AE shoes; however, they are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I selected the grey this time around, as I have a lot of grey's and blues in my wardrobe. The shoes look great. I always get compliments on all my AE shoes from women and men alike.

All of the standard AE perfection, fit, etc. I have quite a few pairs of Allen Edmond shoes but have never had as many positive compliments as with these shoes. They go with casual as well as dress, I will be buying another pair/color very soon.
