These are very nice and comfortable shoes. They have a somewhat casual look, but they feel solid, while staying comfortable. Exactly what I was looking for. I special ordered them to have leather soles, which I prefer. Allen Edmonds leather soles last a long time. I've had many pairs over the years.

These shoes are very well constructed, comfortable and super-stylish. The contrasting laces and sole will draw a lot of compliments. I liked them so much I now have two more pairs in cognac/red and brown/green. Just a very cool look for that can dress up or down. The only downside I can think of is that they're a bit heavy if you are carrying them in luggage.

this is my second pair of strandmoks and my 4th pair of Allen Edmonds. I absolutely love this shoe model! As a working musician, I'm constantly on my feet and always take my style into consideration. Having 2 pairs in contrasting colors makes it easy to coordinate outfits and keeps my style sharp. I've spent up to 8 hours wearing these shoes and never get fatigued. I've never had a company really explain the importance of sizing as well as Allen Edmonds and the fact that they're made in the US with great customer service is an added bonus. I'm highly satisfied with this brand and I'm sure I'll own another pair down the road. Thanks for making an outstanding shoe and if you have a brand ambassador program, I'd be happy to campaign for you!

My Strandmoks are 2 years old and they show no sign of wear. I wear them 5 days a week to work. This is a great value and I'm looking forward to complimenting this pair with an additional pair of Allen Edmonds soon.

I find this shoe one of the most comfortable of the AE shoes i own. I love the Dainite sole that gives an informal look to a beautifully crafted shoe.

This shoe is a good-looking and durable shoe. It fits a little large on me but it may be consistent with other AE 11.5 E. I am not experienced enough to know.

One of the first things people notice about a man's dress is his shoes. I've had three total strangers stop me in public, in Wash, DC, to compliment these shoes. Not to also mention my co-worker's noticing too. That's a first.

I bought these after reading a review by Bespoke Unit online. I've been moving away from sneakers and trying to dress up my casual look. The shoes are even more beautiful in person than they look online. I was hoping to get some burgundy strings as well, but the tan/gold strings look great too. I've heard that AEs are heavy and was worried about comfort. It took about four wears to break them in, but the footbed is forming around the shape of my foot and they are quite comfortable. When I have to stand for long periods of time, these are by far my most comfortable shoes. The danite soles are amazing; they add to the comfort and give me more confidence when walking through gravel parking lots. I have found the shoes to be comfortable and durable. I'm thrilled to have a shoe so well made right here in the USA. I'll definitely be adding more AE shoes into my rotation.

I love the Standmok. I love the black with the blue sole as much as the brown ones. My true size is a 9 1/2 D, but for the 65 Last I size down to a 9D and they fit perfectly.

My brother lives in Amsterdam and has size 16 feet. So finding beautiful shoes isn't easy. I bought these to celebrate his engagement and both him and his now fianc were super pleased. So happy they both love it.

I wanted a pair of Strandmoks for a long time. I finally got a pair in October '17. These shoes felt great from day one out of the box; no painful break in period, or anything close to it. I get compliments on them all the time, and they go with just about anything. They've become my go to shoe for almost everything. They also came with both tan and red laces for even more versatility. I absolutely love these shoes and highly recommend them.

Great shoe. Can be used as a dress shoe and also easily worn as a casual shoe when going out to dinner or social events.

I was originally hesitant to spend the money, however after I bought these, I returned to bye a blue pair 2 months later. I have just bought he black pair to make a set of 3. They are very comfortable and I receive many complements on each set. They go with a suit, smart or business casual. Very pleased.

I own about 10 pairs of AE's. Love them all BUT the Strandmoks might easily be my favorite pair. Gotten a ton of compliments on them. What a classy, great shoe. Easy to set yourself apart from the crowd when wearing Jeans or Khakis with them. The Dainite sole is bulletproof. These shoes can handle anything. The fact that I own shoes from the Independence Collection, Walnut Strands (another cult favorite), Park Avenues, Blue Suede Leiden and yet these are my favorite pair. Should say a lot. You will not regret these.
