Poor sizing for high end brand. I had two pair before in 9 wide perfect fit these were horrible and completely off in width. I’m moving on to another brand. They’ve changed manufacturers and I know as I’ve had two pair before and they were awesome. Not the same fit not even close. Do not buy this shoe .

I ordered two pairs of shoes and just received them. They are my third and fourth pair and was disappointed with quality. Soles are much thinner and wider than previous purchases. Also, there are two holes, one on each side of the heal (Top) of each pair. Could be a defect. Further, when walking shoes tend to flair out on the side, giving the impression they are too big for my feet. I never had a problem with Allen Edmonds shoes, even seconds, but this Set of purchases is disappointing.

I just received my pair today. The sole is so thin it feels like wearing socks not shoes. Totally disappointed... they are on their way back. This product is poor quality.

I was very surprised-ive had multi pairs of your shoes and when I got these I expected a great pair, this was not the case..looked great fit well, but for some reason heels on both caved in,actual hole-extreme back center, and now makes noise when worn, very disappointed as I have shoes as well as belts im hopeing the rest hold up..

I would have liked the shoe if they had both been the same size. The right shoe was 1/2 size larger. The sale ended before I could reorder or I would have done so.. This is my second experience like this. I ordered a pair of Cody Tassel and couldn't get them on. I knew they were mismarked, because I have a pair of Cornelius Tassel which are made on the same last. I reordered the exact same size and they fit perfectly.

Ordered my usual size online and the shoes are running so narrow now that I had to make two trips back to the factory to exchange for something that is still uncomfortable to wear. I now have a pair of uncomfortable shoes that are too narrow. The next size up is way too big. I wear size 10 E so I'm not at the tail end of the standard deviation.

These came with a flaw. The black leather at the sides of the shoes looked like it had been scrubbed off on both shoes. We will reorder if they are still in stock as they fit great.

I would not recommend this product. Unless the pair they sent me was an aberration, this fit badly, the tassels were messed-up and was uncomfortable as all heck. Johnston & Murphy makes a much better pair for the same price. I returned this after trying them on. Now having said that, their Nashua Boot, which I bought at the same time, is an excellent shoe. I hope this helps.

Has anyone experienced back and/or knee problems in conjunction with wearing these loafers? I don't own any other AE loafers, and probably wouldn't buy any again. Haven't worn any other AE shoes that give me this problem? What's the deal?

I bought these on sale but am returning them. I have worn AE shoes, size 10E, for over 20 years and this pair, not made in the US, are not sized like any other AE shoes I have tried. They are too short and narrow. I am very disappointed that sizing is not consistent.

Had to return shoes for the next size larger which was a 10.5 EEE, which was much too wide.

Very disappointed to find Allen Edmunds decided to move the production of these shoes outside the USA. I love my previous shoes made in USA and recommended often. Please bring production back.

I bought three pairs of these shoes. Two are still basically unworn. The third I've worn regularly and they've started to fall apart. The soles began to separate weeks after I started wearing them. The rubber is very poor quality and the shoes are losing their shape as well. I wouldn't have bothered to write a review but noticed the Nashua wasn't in the newest catalogue. When I looked online I saw another reviewer had had the same bad experience. It's infuriating because I presume my other two pairs will fall apart when I start wearing them more as well. Readers: do not buy.

I have purchased several A&E shoes in the past with great satisfaction however I was greatly disappointed in these shoes. At first the shoe was very comfortable and I enjoyed the look and feel of the shoe...but it soon lost its shape and the soles on these shoes fell apart and separated from the shoe itself...the heels wore out quickly and dis-colored. The shoe lost its shape and looked sloppy and dull. I would not recommend this shoe.

Expecting high quality from Allen Edmunds (and prepared to pay for it) - I was very disappointed in these shoes. I bought two pair - and one of the pairs soles separated at the toe shortly after I started wearing them and now flops loose and catches carpets so bad I don't wear them any more. Suggest you stay clear of these - especially for the price!

I have been wearing AE shoes for twenty-five years. I have more than thirty pairs of your shoes. My shoe size is 10.5 C. I purchased the Nashua model because of the rubber heels and soles. I ordered two pair of shoes, tan and black/brown. They arrived today. Much to my disappointment, neither pair of shoes fit. Both pairs were marked 10.5 C. Now here's the part that's really troubling...the tan shoes were too big (my heel comes out of the shoe when I walk), and the black/brown shoes were too small (my toes were cramped). How could this be? It is like the tan shoes were size 11D and the black/brown shoes were size 10B., both marked 10.5C. This is not the quality I expect from Allen Edmonds. JEG

This is the second pair of the same shoe I had to return. They look like they were made for a "seconds store". After all the AE shoes I've purchased I was disappointed at the poor quality of the assembly of these. I love the style and fit, but if the next pair come back like that I'll find another shoe store.

This is the worse pair of Allen Edmonds I have ever purchased. The sole separated from the shoe the 1st time I wore them. I couldn't believe it ... waited a longtime for these shoes because of the EEE width ... also ran short in length but I tried them anyways because I didn't want to wait again. I never had a problem with Allen Edmonds before except some width and length difference which I accepted so I ordered another pair and now I am waiting again.

What a disappointment. I ordered the distressed leather Nashua because I was sending my 8 year old black / tan nashua's back for re-crafting (3rd time). When I received the new shoes, despite being the same size they were very tight and I realized immediately the soles had changed - no cushion and no support - from the original design. The shoe has never loosened and I rarely wear them. When I received my black/brown shoe after the third re-crafting, I was incredibly disappointed by the poor quality craftsmanship - the cheap rubber sole peels back from the shoe and the heel is breaking down after 3 months (and previous version lasted 3 years before requiring re-crafting). This shoe was great - it felt like you were walking on air; now it feels like your foot is right on the concrete. And by the way, what happened to the personal touch - the before and after photo's of my shoes going through re-crafting? I have always been a loyal supporter and fan of AE, but what they did to my great old shoe is sad and for the first time I have to say don't buy these shoes and by all means don't recraft your old ones - you will be disappointed.
