Fit great and much lighter than the original Hunters I bought years ago!

I just ordered my second pair of Hunter Tour rainboots. The problem I've always had with rainboots is that they cut into the back of my ankle in a really painful way so finding a good pair for commuting was a struggle. The Tour is a lifesaver - because of their flexibility (for packing) they don't have any stiff areas that cut into my ankle and cause blisters. They are PERFECTLY comfortable. And also lightweight! I also find that they are true to size on the foot, although I do see how they could be slightly small on the calves if you are muscular at all. I have average calves and don't have a problem tucking in leggings but jeans are slightly snug. I also don't mind that they aren't lined. It enables me to wear them year round and accommodate the season with my choice of socks. I've never purchased the Hunter liners and I am fine wearing them in cold weather with thick socks. I'm on my second pair of these boots because I have large knuckles by my big toes and so when I walk my shoes tend to rub together at that point, which wore a hole in the rubber on both boots after two years. I don't think this would generally be a problem for most people, but thought it was worth mentioning. I will continue to replace my Hunters despite this bc they are so comfortable.

I love these rain boots. They fit well and look nice with many things. They aren't very warm but they definitely are waterproof. Last a long time. The only thing is they get a bit uncomfortable after walking around in them for long periods of time. Order half size down for half sizes.

These boots are great overall, except that I sized down from my usual 6 1/2 to a 6, but should have sized up to a 7. The shaft is slightly tight on me with leggings tucked into the boot. I love the hunter color. The foldable feature is nice to have and-as far as I know-unique to this boot style. I'll be re-ordering a size 7 and hope that the shaft is slightly looser in the calves.

Just perfect! I received them the next day I ordered. Fit just right, feel just right, yes they are the right Hunter pair of boots I wanted to have.I wear 6.5 to 7 I ordered size 6 and they were perfect.

I love these boots! I usually wear and ordered a size 8. They are true to size. They're nice and light and very comfy. Now I just need the rain to come ??

Love these! Stylish and practical. Normally a size 8 and after reading the reviews, opted to order my green Hunter boots in an 8 too. I think I will enjoy these for years to come.

Cute boots. They are slightly shorter than the tall. I am 5'1" so that half an inch matters. I would buy them again.

Love love these Hunter rain boots! They are so stylish and very well made. The only downfall is they tend to get this chalky look if you dont clean them.

I love these so much. The little strap on the side is a bit challenging to figure out, otherwise they're exactly what I expected from a tall rubber boot. They're comfortable and roomy without being loose. There is plenty of room for my calf but may be tight if you have larger or muscular calves.

I usually get a 1/2 size up in boots. I'm a 9 in nikes but a 8.5 in sandals, so I order the 9 in the hunter green and these are perfect! I have muscular calfs at about 15" around and these will be a good fit with thick socks and jeans. Love them. Might try the shiny ones though and see if I like the look better

I really like these boots. I read quite a bit online before purchasing, and the height of this style is nice for petite women. I am 5'3" and wear a size 7, the top of the boot does not hit too close to my knee.

Love these! Been holding off for years buying them due to high price but well worth it. Now I am sorry I waited so long! They are way more comfortable than I'd anticipated. I am (5'1'') and they hit below the knee. Do not cut in at all (I even wore these with shorts). I really like the slimmer shaft circumference than the regular Hunter Boot. The Tour is narrower and much better for petite women.

I was going back and forth between between the Original Tall and the Tour and I went with the Tour and I love it! I am 5'7" and wear an 8.5 and its a perfect length. I felt the Tall would be a little too high on my legs and the Tour hits at the perfect spot. I went down a size to an 8 instead of going up to a 9 and I think it was the right decision. It fits perfect around my feet and my toes have enough room. It is a little snug getting off but that's it. Very comfortable to walk in. Overall a great buy!

I normally don't write reviews but these boots are great! Based on reviews I did size down. I normally wear a 7 1/2 or 8 and got these in a 7 fit perfect. Of course Zappos delivered extremely quick!

I purchased the Hunter Huntress boots first, but they were huge in my calf area. I am 5'3", so after doing some more research, I exchanged them for the Hunter Tour boots. These are much better and have a more slim fit through the calf. They are slightly taller than I would prefer, they basically touch the bottom of my knees, but I still really like them! Definitely order the Tour if you are petite and need a slimmer calf fit.

I live in a sub-tropical climate that receives periods of heavy rainfall, and after agonizing over size and style for ages, I bought the Tour original boots in matte black. Color and finish aside, with regards to the Tour style I am so glad that I did. I have never tried the normal weight boots, but dang these ones are so light. They are super comfortable due to their lightness, they are flexible but retain their shape (I was worried that they would be floppy - they are not). I could easily bust moves at multi-day festival in these, or work all day on a farm/mow the lawn/jump in puddles etc. Sizing was difficult because there are so many reviews that say to size up because they are huge. This was not my experience. I have one foot larger than the other, so for open shoes and heels I fit to the smaller foot (EU38/AU7.5), and for closed shoes/boots I fit to the larger foot (EU39/AU8). The majority of reviews say to size down half to one size, but luckily they were out of stock and I went for the 8. I am so glad that I did. These fit perfectly. The length is a true EU39/AU8. And if both of my feet were a 7½, I would probably size up rather than down as they feel great on my smaller foot as well. I think it is important to remember that these are gumboots so they fit wide and are not really meant to sit snug (hello, rubber). I am not sure if this is what people are referring to when they say they run large? I say stick to your normal size. If you are a half size with narrow feet, maybe size down, if you are a half size with wide feet, maybe size up - with consideration to your preferences for foot/shoe feel. Then of course there is the leg thing... Thankfully these are narrow so no annoying leg slap! (Other gumboot experience). But if you have impressive calves, you may want to consider other styles (huntress/adjustable/short) which, sadly, do not come in the lightweight rubber. I was like "Oh, should I have gotten the gold speckled shiny unicorn ones instead!?" I kind of did not have a choice because the matte black were the only ones in stock, but they certainly look smart and understated and will go with everything. I am kind of glad that I did not go with the forest green because they may have looked a bit too working in the garden-esque. Yes, black is a bit conservative and boring, but they will definitely be worn extensively. If I was buying in store I may have been more adventurous with color, but online, just go with what you think you want in your closet/what is available in your size!

The boots arrived promptly and were just as I'd hoped. Warm and comfortable, they helped me stay dry as I cleaned up after a Nor'easter! And they are attractive enough to wear in town.

I love the navy - color is just off black so neutral enough to wear with everything. I tried the classic Hunters and the adjustable backs before settling on the tours. I love that they are definitely lighter weight and more flexible which makes them much easier to pack. They were still comfortable - I wore them walking around Boston for a whole weekend and my feet never hurt. The shaft circumference is smaller than the original and the adjustable back, so if you have larger calves I would not recommend these boots. I thought that they ran slightly large. I am usually a 6½-7, and a 6 in these boots fits me perfectly with room for socks.

I love the Hunter Tour! It's just like the original but much lighter weight. They were great for wearing around New York in the snow!
