Love these hunter boots! it runs true to size (I usually wear a ten but got a nine first and had to order the ten). I have a skinny calf and this fit perfectly. I like the heel of the boot better than the tall hunter boot. I wear them with and with the sock and love them. I'm glad I finally have a rain/snow boot to wear during our monsoon in Phoenix and trips to north for snow.

I purchased the Tour in a size 8 after trying the Hunter Original in size 9 (I generally wear an 8.5/9 but unfortunately Hunter does not come in half sizes.) The 9 was too large overall in the foot and calf area -- I have small calves, around13.5". I decided to go with the Tour in an 8 and it was a good choice for my 5'5" frame. I love the Navy Blue and receive a lot of compliments. Also the Tour are lighter in weight than the Original & come with a cute drawstring Hunter bag for travel.

Bought these rain boots because I needed some nice heavy duty and durable boots for the El Nino coming here to California!

The best online order I have ever done! I ordered them on December 22 (late evening). Zappos promised to deliver by Christmas. I didn't expected them until the 24th or 25th, but I got them on the 23 around 4PM! Awesome service, super happy with my new boots. It was my first order on Zappos! THIS GIRL IS A HAPPY GIRL! Thank you Zappos! And again the boots are awesome. :)

I am in love with these boots! I appreciated the comments on these, because there are a few reality checks when considering these boots. The opening around the calf is quite small. That happens to work for me, since I am 5'10" I can wear these with legging jeans, but bunching up regular pants and stuffing them in looks a little awkward. They are quite wide around the foot and ankle area. I am normally a size 11, and I tried both the 10 and the 11. The 10 was just too small, but I could see how ordering a size down could help for some people. Lastly, they do not have any insulation to speak of. I have been wearing mine in snow, but I would definitely recommend some thick, wool socks! In spite of it all, these boots are highly functional and look amazing!

These boots are very high quality and very fashionable and functional! My daughter is very pleased with the fit and comfort. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

I am in love with these boots!! They are so cute and comfy. Zappos got them to me super fast and they were exactly as they said they were and more. I'm pretty sure you need these boots! I ordered down a size.

As advertised, no surprises. My high school Freshman daughter loves the boots. Regularly receives compliments on them. I would say the motivation to pay the purchase price was a third for the boot and rest for the social/fashion aspect.

I usually buy from Macy's or Nordstrom even though I'm a member of Zappos. I ordered the hunter original black tour in matte.Customer service suggested to start on the smaller size. I'm size 6 so I got the size 5. I love this boots specially the weight( it's light ) and the height.The feet fits me good and still have room for socks but unfortunately the calf is narrow.. My calf is 14 inches and I can't wear the hunter boots socks or tuck my jeans in it!! I can wear thin socks or cotton leggings but anything thicker will not fit! So I ordered the hunter adjustable back size 5 to see the difference. The adjustable hunter is taller in height and heavier compare to the hunter original tour. The feet still has lot of room like the tour and since the calf part is adjustable,I can tuck in my jean leggings and wear thick socks. So I chose the hunter original back adjustable. I feel more comfortable using that! Hopefully it will last long for me coz I heard a lot negative reviews about the hunter rain boots that it will leak and that it will look dull in a year or so.. I like shopping at Zappos because of their customer service!! They are so helpful and friendly and accommodating but the only thing I hate was printing for the return label!! I hate returning stuff and it's a pain when u don't use a printer at the house! I love the other stores like Nordstrom for example because the prepaid label is already in the box... I will go back to the others stores with prepaid label since it's more convenient for me.. I will still shop at Zappos when I'm sure that I don't have to return anything! Excellent service!! I originally ordered he huntress but the were too tall, these are almost an inch shorter and worked perfect! I also bought the socks inserts and couldn't believe how warm my feet stayed. I wear an 8 and ordered an 8, without socks they are a bit wide but in you use the sock it's perfect. I know a lot of the reviews said to order down a size, I'm glad I stuck with the size I normally order. Also the exchange with Zappos was the easiest friendliest experience I've ever had. So overall if you are 5' 4" and under I'd go with the tour! Excellent purchase!

I love these boots. They are soft, lightweight, comfortable, flexible and stylish-yet-understated. I got the black and love the matte (is that what you call it?) finish. I couldn't ask for more from a rain boot.

Great rainboot for petite girls. This version of the Hunter boot is perfect for petite girls because it doesn't hit too high in the back of the leg by the knee and isn't too wide in the calf. Perfect! And size is true. I'm a 5 and got the 5. For reference, I''m 5'1.

I'd been wanting Hunter boots for a while but never knew if they were worth the money. Now that I have them I realize they are. I am not a big spender on shoes but these are worth every penny. I normally wear a size 8.5 and got a size 8 - they fit perfectly! They are so light and keep my feet dry when walking in the rain in NYC. I am hooked!

Love these boots! I'm short (5ft 0 inches) and they come just below my knee. I love how they are narrower at the calf so rain doesn't get in. They are so comfortable. Everyone that saw them already wants a pair and I can't wait to order them in red.

Everyone keeps talking about how good these work for narrow calves. Jean of Extra Petite did a blog review on them and they looked perfect on her 12.5" calves in size 5. I ordered a size 7 however, and my 13" calves are swimming in them. I measured and the inner circumference is around 15" and outer around 15.5". I think the calf width must increase dramatically with the size. Yet I see other reviewers with bigger sizes still saying they fit narrow calves. Maybe the color (NAVY 2) runs differently? Either way, I normally wear a 6.5-7W and the 7s were huge. Bonus: they weren't too narrow for my wide feet, or too tall for my 5'2 stature. So I am going to try again with a 6 and see if that solves both problems.

I have this boot in navy and, just recently, received it in military red. I love these boots. They're so cute! I am 55, live in Florida, where it rains a lot during the summer and early fall, and wear them with shorts, skirts, and white jeans. I am 5' 8 1/2" tall and have a narrow foot and small calf. I've found the Tour version works best for me. The foot area and shaft seem to be smaller than in the Tall Original, which I also tried. The Tour is a lighter weight boot, which I prefer. I do wish it came in narrow, however, so it would not be quite as loose on me. I compensate with thicker socks, so it's acceptable. Also, customer support is superb.

Zappos was wonderful. I accidentally ordered the wrong style. I called their customer service line and they helped me correct my online order. No worries or anything. In fact I received the rain boots within 48 hours. The boots are great. The reviews indicated the brand runs big and it's true. We ordered a size smaller and they fit perfectly.

I ordered three different types of Hunters because I was so nervous about my calves not fitting! All of them fit me, the buckle in the back was the largest on my calf, but the Tour was my favorite because the sole was a little wider. I have wider feet and the Tour was the only one where my feet were not wider than the sole! I love them and am so glad that I splurged and purchased them!

I wear an 8-8.5 and ordered a 7 because reviews said these run 1 size large (I think they run 1/2 size large). The 7 fits snug, right on the border of possibly being too small but they will work just fine. Love the green color (I ordered both the navy and hunter green and wished I could have kept both) and the Tour is light, not bulky and heavy and the sole feels cushy!

Not only am I so happy with my Hunter Boots purchase but I cannot say good enough things about the customer service! The guy on the phone was so energetic that it didn't make me dread being on the phone with the company. He also went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for, even if that meant looking on OTHER websites that offered a similar product. In the end, I ordered from Zappos, received the product in 2 business days, and couldn't be any happier. Thank you Zappos!

I bought this and the Hunter Original 2-tone, and ended up keeping this one because I felt it was a little better fit (I have small calves). The Original was significantly firmer also, compared to the Tour. They were both pretty comfortable, though. Really it just came down to my own preference. I usually wear a size 8, and these fit just perfectly as far as that went.

These are great rain boots, very waterproof, stylish and comfortable. I have very thin calves and it's hard to find boots that aren't way too roomy in the leg, but these are a great fit and leave just enough room for easy on/off. They work well with leggings or skinny jeans tucked in. My only complaint was that the foot part was a bit loose at a size 6, I'm usually a 6.5 but went for the 6 since they only have full sizes. My solution was a sole liner from my old Tretorn boots that makes the fit perfect and adds warmth and comfort since its soft and fuzzy. I recommend getting a liner for these! Otherwise great and easy to wash mud or dirt off as well.
