After researching the Originals vs. the Tour, I ultimately decided these would be a better fit for my 5'1 frame, as these are lighter weight and have a slimmer calf. I'm normally a 5.5 in most shoes, and sized up to a 6 and it fits well with socks. I've never had an issue with my calves and boots before but these fit pretty snug, it can be difficult to pull them off! But overall I'm happy, they are comfortable to wear for moderate walking, not too heavy or bulky and super cute!

Cute boots, I got them in red. I got a size 9 (my size is between 8.5-9) and they are still so large that I use orthotics to improve arch support. So for me this larger size works well. These are not boots that I expect to give a lot of support, but to keep my feet dry. That definitely works! And Zappos showed its great customer service, as usual. Shopping here is fun!

Love the Tour boot. Fits true to size, and is a good option for me over the regular Hunter boots because the height isn't as high up my leg. Fits me perfect.

They are cute and comfortable, but they are a bit too long for my relatively short legs :( I'm 5'2 asian. They chafe the back of knees when sitting. I just wear socks or tights so that they don't rub directly against my skin.

Loving these boots! The blue is awesome; its kinda special without being crazy. I would normally wear an 11.5, but the 11 fit great. These are my first pair of Hunter boots, so I'm not sure if the top of the boot is supposed to hug your calves tight. It's borderline uncomfortable, and I've never had to purchase wide-calf boots before. It might be by design to prevent water from going into the top of the boot, not sure. Either way, I'm loving them.

This packable boot would be great except that it is too tight around the top so they are coming back. As always, Zappos service is awesome so I'll keep looking there for a packable boot that has good support, is supple and durable, and has a comfortable, non-binding, shaft.

The boots are okay. Here is the problem—they are simply too tight, and you can barely pull them onto your calf!! I do not have large calves (in 5’0”, 110 lbs, and “skinny” by most standards). I don’t know who these boots are meant for, but I’d love to meet the person who can actually pull them over their calves! Seriously, it’s like I had a “muffin top” spilling over the boots once I got them on!! I have never had this problem before!! I’m returning them and opting for the shorter height boots. Fingers crossed I can actually wear those!

I bought these boots in March of 2015 and by January 2016 they were ripped and leaking (with normal use). Mind you- I didn't wear them over the summer. I had to return these and Zappos was awesome about making an exchange for the Hunter Original. WOULD NOT advise getting these boots unless you're only planning to wear them for light wear in rainy weather.

They’re beautiful but the calf wasn’t wide enough for me to even fit

I have tried tall Hunter boots in the past and ended up returning them for I couldn't find the right look, fit and comfort. Finally I found all three when I got the Tour packable. Perfect look and fit for petite gals, I am 5'1 for reference, and the fit is not goofy looking like the original tall at least for my taste and liking. I would say the shaft is more form fitting and not flared like the original tall, so it may not be suitable for everyone. I thought I have muscular legs, and will not fit because of this, but I can easily slide in and out of these boots with or without socks. I have been practicing on how to get in and out of these boots with ease so I can wear them to an upcoming European trip. I know I will have to take them off with a breeze through security and would like to see if that is practical instead of packing them, although they should be packable enough, pun intended. Arch support is ok as far as wearing them around the house as I haven't really worn them outside yet, hoping they will be forgiving given that I suffer from plantar fasciitis. I bought the short packable at first and returned them and bought these when I saw that the short were too short compared to the original short, but I do like the look and fit of the tour versus the original, so I figured the tall tour is the next logical choice. And so I finally found the right Hunter boots for me! Now on the lookout for more Tall Tour colors, but seems like I came late to the Tour party as I can only find black and blue now. I am size 7.5 most of the time and bought the black size 7 BTW, which I thought would be easiest to wear with just about anything,...simple, classic, and does not really scream "look at me I'm wearing rainboots!". Will update this review for sure after my trip next month. I'm planning on just bringing these babies and a pair of flats and sneakers maybe.

I’ve worn these boats in Paris and in the mud! I use this “tour” version more than the regular style because of how light they are. Still one of my favorite boots

Love how lightweight they are. They work well with skinny jeans. It's so nice to feel impervious to puddles!

Love these boots. I usually wear a 7 1/2, but they don’t come in 1/2 sizes. Ordered the 7 and that size even felt a bit big. But needed the boots asap, so didn’t want to wait on trying a size 6 (which then my obvious concern was they would be too small). Boot fit good when I wore heavier socks or 2 pair of socks.

And amazing rain and winter boot!!! A little room to let me wear my big socks. Where amount in the mud and then they clean up so easily and they look brand new! I am usually a size 8 and an 8 fit perfect! I love them so much I got them in another color!

I got these just in time for today’s rainstorm! They are comfortable and fit perfectly. I really like the tall boots so I don’t have to worry about water splashing over the top. My feet stayed warm and dry all day.

These rain boots are perfect. I am only 5’1” and the height is just under my knee. These shoes aren’t as heavy as other rain boots and are very comfortable to walk around in. The black ones look nice and match a lot of outfits!

Love these. I bought these years ago and still wear them every winter. They last and are timeless.

Good looking, comfortable fit

I love these. I am on my second pair. The first one lasted from January 2015 to about the summer of 2018. I would love them to last longer but the truth is I wore them almost every day during winter and very often in the fall and spring. So not too bad. They are super comfortable, fit narrower feet and calfs, they aren't as high as the Original Tall so if you are shorter than 5'7", they'll fit you better than those. They are also lighter. I wear a wool sock inside in winter (not Hunter brand, a cheaper one) and that makes then warm enough for snow. They are my favorite.

Love these boots! They are a much better fit for my skinny calves than the Original. I can wear them with tights, skinny jeans or even bare leg and they don't look like I'm a child trying on mom's boots.

Love these!!!! Rain, gardening, errands! And they are so stylish! I get compliments all the time!!! They are very light weight making them comfortable. I’m a size 8 and the 8 works perfect, even with a thicker sock. Bought them in 2 colors I love them so much!

Been wanting to purchase a pair of Hunter boots for YEARS but could never justify the price. Well, after many said years of wearing other shoes in the rain and getting soaking wet, I decided to treat myself. So happy I did! Went with the Tour boots bc I'm short (5'2") and heard they fit better on petite women. The height is perfect for me! I also have smaller calves, so again - perfect. They're also light and comfortable. I usually where a size 6.5 and went with size 6 - again, perfect.
