I'm not keeping this boot but I really like it. The size seems very true in length and width. Comfort is important to me and the footbed of this boot is very comfortable. I really like the style/shape of the boot. The sole looks like it would provide good traction. There are only 2 (small) negatives: The boot has a knit lining which I'm afraid might stretch and pill and it has stitching across the instep which I can feel through the leather. The stitching might not bother most people but I've had surgery on my foot and it tends to be sensitive and become swollen so I'm going to look for a similar boot without the top stitching.

I really like this boot. I have been looking for this style of boot for a while. For this price-point, this is the most comfortable and stylish boot that I have tried. I also think they are good quality for the price. I agree with the review that you are able to "feel the heel", but I do not find it to be uncomfortable and probably would not have noticed, had I not read that review. I disagree with the review that says you have to unlace the boots to get them on. I leave them laced and use the zipper for quick on and off. I have two complaints about this boot: -Sometimes the zippers are difficult to get started. -The size of the boot is printed on the tongue. So if you leave the top unlaced and fold the tongue down slightly, the size of the boot is visible. Unfortunately for me, this is how I like to wear them for a more hip look. I'm hoping that eventually it will wear off and not be visible. I ordered the grey. I like the color and it is accurately depicted on the website.

I like these boots a lot, though I had some problems with sizing. I ordered a 9 and a 9.5 because I wasn't sure which the best fit would be in this brand/style. They fit exactly the same--I couldn't tell any difference in sizing, which was odd. (For the record, I wear a 9 in brands like Merrell, but wear a 9.5 in Keens). I went back and forth with them, because I had another pair I really liked (Taos Crave), but I decided to stick with these sheerly for the comfort factor: they felt like wearing a pair of sneakers. So very comfortable, and that was pretty much right out of the box! (I did get a slight blister on my little toe after walking in them several miles, but that could also be a sock problem). I'm just hoping they last a long time, because for me, they are rather pricey. I had some worries about the sole, which is made of a material that sometimes people have had problems with them literally crumbling (though I didn't see it as a problem in any of the reviews, thankfully). I really like them, and the color (teal) is gorgeous and will go with a lot. I hope they hold up well!

Super comfy! I wish they had a knee high version but for the comfort and overall appearance I think I'll probably end up owning a pair. I'm going to exchange them for the black version because the blue/teal is, as a few others have mentioned, actually a nice dark green. Definitely run a little warm for Los Angeles but hopefully will be great for the "chilly" winter months.

These didn't work for me style-wise (the length is just awkward on me and somehow accentuates my hips) but they seemed well made and like they'd be comfortable on a more normal foot. For my wide paddle feet with narrow heels I just felt it was too tight over the vamp and too wide in the heel. True to size.

These were cute and seemed well made, but I am sending them back because the arch support hit my foot in the wrong place. I have very hard-to-fit feet, so please do not let my experience dissuade you from giving these a try. I have another pair of Cobb Hill shoes that are wonderful, so I still recommend these, even though these particular boots did not work for me.

I like that these had a zipper in the back, but they were hard to actually zip and made the lace up fronts look a little messy looking. The leather is beautiful.

Just the style I was looking for, but the quality is disappointing for the price. This boot isn't full-grain leather, it's thin leather bonded to a manmade lining. This is less breathable and wears out more quickly. In addition, the speed laces are a bit silly on a zippered boot, because as soon as you unzip, the laces fall off the speed hooks. That said, the style is quite nice (the back zipper means I don't have to worry about catching it on my bike crank) and they are comfortable, so I decided to keep them... but they would be more appropriately priced about fifty bucks less.

As everyone says there is no break in period for these. They are comfortable right out of the box. There is only one eye hook but I have not had any problems with the laces coming off the hook. I love the zipper in the back for easy on and off. I have an over pronation problem and I wouldn't say the arch support is great but it is better than most. I find Vionic has best arch support so far. I know it lifted my heel enough along with the arch support to be comfortable. By the way, I am mid 40's and an RN= foot issues. I don't have bunions so can't really comment on that. But I ordered a 9 and I am a 9. Perfect fit. I also have a narrow heel but "flipper" toes. I wish they were waterproof!

Actually a very soft boot - what others wrote about it not needing a break in period was correct. I found the fit slightly narrow (I have wide feet and a bunion, and usually wear wides only) but it would have worked out okay. In the end, I didn't like the style as much as I thought I would have from the pics, so I am returning them. Would definitely try some more Cobb Hill stuff - they seem way more comfortable than most boots are.

Very comfortable boot, and nice looking! I normally wear an 8, except in heels, and this 8 fit true to size. The color was a little lighter tan than I wanted. I had order some other boots at the same time from the company, Born, and went with those instead and returned the Cobb Hill because of the color.

I have flat feet with mild bunions. I usually wear a size 7.5 and sometimes an 8 in a boot. I ordered my standard size 7.5 based on other reviews and I am happy to say this is the absolute right size for my foot, even with thick socks. I agree that perhaps by just looking at these boots - they do not necessarily appear premium in materials for the price that they are. However, when you put on a boot and it is more comfortable than your most comfy sneaker or slipper - one must say, yes, this is a keeper. I often have issues with boots and the toe box being too narrow. I must say this boot has ample room for my finicky feet. I just wore them to a concert and walked all over Harlem and they are awesomely comfortable. The newer version has only one hook at the top as opposed to 3 hooks - I think this has helped with staying tied problem when using the zipper. All in all, New Balance has done a great job transferring their sneaker soles into a boot, a definite keeper.

Super comfortable! Feels like a sneaker. The leather is very soft. I'm not sure how durable they'll be in the long run because of the thin soft leather, but its a great boot. I'm a true 7 and I have room to wear a thick sock, but not too big.

I love this boot! It's super cute and gives great support. Sometimes it's a bit hard to zip up the back when you have large socks on, but otherwise they're really easy to slide on and off.

I've had these in brown for about a year and get a ton of use out of them. I walk everywhere on unforgiving urban pavement and the thick, cushioned soles are up to the challenge. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the laces still can come loose (darn my skinny ankles!) with the zipper done up, but they are so incredibly comfortable, it's worth the occasional hassle. The knit lining provides a little extra warmth once the weather turns bitterly cold here in Berlin and the ease on my somewhat-wider feet is ideal. Oh yes, and they don't make my size 11s look huge, which is a major plus. Highly recommend!

I have a narrow heel, square toe box, and wider front foot and these are a great fit for me. I normally need arch support because I had cartridge removed from my ankle, but these have a cushy heel and mid foot that offers some support (feels weird at first), although I think over time it will compact. No break it time, I walked tons in these brand new. Only issue is that the laces come out of the top eyelets often, maybe shorter, tighter laces would help. I do like the zippers, were great for quick airport security. I like the heel height for everyday.

These boots were comfy right out of the box...no break in period. Super soft leather and the foot bed is cushy. I visit construction sites for my job and these help with long days on hard floors. The zipper in the back gets me in and out of airport TSA quick. Great boot!

I am wearing these boots now daily for almost two weeks. On the positive side, the shoes are well made, they have moderate arch support, and the soles provide sufficient traction for walking on a slightly icy surface. The zipper is convenient. I am wearing them with thick hiking socks and my feet were comfortably toasty even during longer walks in very cold winter weather. I treated them with a spray for unfinished leather (twice), let them sit for 12 hours after the last application and that was sufficient to prevent immediate discoloration and the appearance of unsightly stains from ice melt. Since then, I have treated them with a high quality shoe polish and beeswax, which rendered them resistant to walking through slush. On the not so bright side, I do not understand, why these are offered only in one width. They were clearly designed with Donald Duck in mind. Seriously, I have narrow feet but not 4A but even with the aforementioned thick hiking socks, they are WIDE. This takes away considerably from the optic appeal as well as from the walking comfort.

I love these boots, unbelievable comfort and support right out of the box. They were a half size bigger for me, unlike some other reviewers. The smaller size fit perfectly and left plenty of room for socks. I have both the black and the stone since they look so good and are so functional. The only negative for me is that they aren't waterproof or even water resistant so I'm not so sure how they'll hold up in tough New England weather. I haven't worn them in heavy rain or snow yet. Everything else about these boots is great, especially the cool zipper in the back. It's really easy to take them off!

These are so comfy right out of the box! It's great that you can get the laces just the way you want them and then leave them that way by using the back zipper. The color (stone) seems like it will go with everything, which is good, because I don't think I'll want to take them off!

Nice cute boot. They are warm, cozy and comfortable to walk in all day. I sometimes get a little rubbing on the back of my ankle from the zipper, but usually loosening up the laces a bit takes care of that. I like the zipper for easy off, but I usually have to retie the top hooks since they tend to slip off when I take them off. I really like these and wear them probably 3-4 days a week with long skirts or pants.

I ordered these boots (over a different pair I was debating) because a reviewer said they felt like sneakers. She was right! They are very comfortable. I haven't worn them out yet (because not quite the weather yet) but they feel like they may be my everyday walking shoe this winter. I think they'll be warm too; they feel very cozy. They're not big and clunky either (like many other boots seem to be) which is a huge plus! The heel is soft too, not hard, so great for walking. They have a light contrast stitching that gives them a bit of style. They look great with jeans or leggings. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the insole/footbed is not removable - so you can't use an orthotic and wear thick sock. It's one or the other. But they seem comfortable and supportive enough that I may not need to wear an orthotic. I am very happy with my purchase, and, of course, very happy with Zappos!

This review is for the "gray" boots specifically. They definitely do not look gray. They're more of a strange brown color. I returned them. If they were a true gray, I would have kept them.
