First off, I don't usually pay this much for shoes. After reading numerous reviews and buying a cheap pair of uncomfortable boots I decided to give these a try. The leather was soft and nice looking. The sole sturdy and slip proof. The zipper in the back works well for getting the boot easily on and off without having to untie it. The inside of the boot is nicely padded and lined. This boot is also warm. Every part of this boot is nicely made. Perhaps I will splurge and buy another pair in red or teal!

I have these boots in three colors. I bought my first pair two years ago and they are literally my favorite boots. Just bought them in red and grey and I LOVE them.

These boots rule! Not clunky looking, which is often an issue with boots when you wear a size 9.5. I got them in black, and unlike other similar styled boots, they don't look so much like combat boots. They're cute as heck with skinny jeans or leggings, and with boot-cut pants or straight-leg pants, they look like more of a shoe. A solid staple for my wardrobe.

Very comfortable shoe, right out of the box. I ordered this and another brand. This was FAR more comfortable. Great run around town shoe. This also has a soft inside lining that adds to the warmth factor.

Very happy with these boots. Comfy and flexible out of the box. Great arch support. I chose the blue and they are beautiful: a denim sort of blue that I believe goes well with almost everything. True to size and width. Probably have to order another color soon!

These were so comfortable. Very cushiony foot bed! The style is great and classic. Unfortunately I had to send them back because I am looking for motorcycling boots and these were more of a fashion boot than a hard sided leather boot needed to protect my ankle.

These boots are very cute and comfortable right out of the box. I have thin calves and ankles and they fit me very nicely with no sloppiness. I only wish they came in a warm brown color. Zappos is the best! I don't know how they do it but I don't know where I'd be without them!

I read all the reviews on this boot and decided to give them a try. Am I glad! They are amazing! They have that already broke in feel, great arch support, best ankle boot I've ever worn. Definitely worth the money. I love them!

If you have high arches and need support in a boot - this is The One. After trying on 3 other boots - this was hands down the best. Thanks Zappos!

I was in the mood for some combat/hiking boots, and my husband surprised me with these for Christmas last year. They are so comfortable! I think the most comfortable shoes I've had in 10 years. I wore them exclusively on our honeymoon walking all over Europe, and my feet did not hurt once. I normally wear a size 6 in heels (shoes without socks), and the 6.5 fits perfectly with some normal weight socks. They kept my feet dry from the elements, they have good grip, and are great for hiking as well as looking cute with skinny jeans. Buying another pair now.

Love these boots. No break in time needed. Great arch support and cushion. Wish I could wear them to work.

Super comfortable! I'm an 8 1/2, and some times boots run small so I order up to a 9. Not with these boots. The 8 1/2 works. I love the back zipper, no need to lace and unlace every time you take your shoes on and off.

I love these boots! They are so cute and comfortable. They run yrue to size and I can ride my motorcycle.

These could not be any more comfortable! I'm in Love! Leather is soft, soles are soft clouds, zip in backs are a dream - and there are not stiff edges anywhere - even without socks! Funky look with just enough femininity offering plenty of styling options. Stone color looks better in person, Never tried Cobb Hill before. Also ordered some other Cobb Hills that are also super comfy. Favorited them for future shopping.

These boots were incredibly comfortable right out of the box, with great arch support and cushioning in the sole. I got these in the teal, which to my eye is more green than blue, but it's a beautiful color. I normally wear a 9 and got these in a 9 and it's perfect, as is the width. I can't recommend these enough.

Wonderful boots! I got a compliment the first day I wore them too. So comfortable, did not need any extra cushion, it is like walking on air. Inside they have sweater material...so soft. I love the zipper back so you don't have to untie/retie every time. Heel height is perfect (bought these for walking around Amsterdam). They have a nice vintage/tough-yet-feminine look with a polished toe. Looks like they've been loved but are brand new! Highly recommend these and love the gray color I got. True to size (I wear 9 in boots, 8.5 in heels), so the 9's feel great. I would highly recommend these.

Love this item, but not near as red as pictured. More of a rust color. Will now look for another pair that may be redder in color.

I have not had the cool weather to wear them yet, but I cannot wait! These boots could not be more comfortable! The leather is so soft, in a full squat, there is no stiffness or binding anywhere. They are attractive, too. I bought these boots in the grey which has the back zipper in red! That is very unique looking.

I have this style (Cobb Hill Bethany) in one other color (and hoping for a third on back order). The shoe lives up to the other strong reviews: Well-made, one of the most comfortable boots I've every worn, and in a versatile style. A heads-up: The dark red color is just that, ie, more subdued than what is showing up on my screen. Perhaps a more 'mature' shade, but I was geared up to make a funkier statement! The dark green and blue are perfect. A very, very fine shoe, and flattering to the foot.

I'm very satisfied with this boot, which, delivered what other reviewers said it would. I bought it in grey and think the color is versatile. It is light enough that it doesn't look black, but dark enough to blend with whatever color jeans I want to wear it with.

I wear a size 11 and always have to order 6-10 pairs of shoes at a time to find one that will fit. This time I ordered one pair and they are the best boot buy that I have made in a long time! They are so comfortable. They have nice flexy soles. Easy in and out. Great style - and they do not have that shiny new look - they look well-loved straight out of the box. This is the first review that I have ever written because I am just that excited to have comfortable, casual boots that are hip but not trendy, funky but not age restrictively so, and completely affordable! They also have a cute maroonish zipper detail that I love. I bought grey. I am now pondering more colors.

They're the kind of boots that make you WANT to walk for miles and miles, city or country. I don't know how well the soles wear over time - I've only had them a few months. But they look good and are super-comfortable. The zippers are a good idea - makes them easy to get on and off quickly, no fuss.

I just got home from work and I had a package on my doorstep from Zappos. How awesome is that? I really like these boots, they are so comfy, cute, stylish and fun. You know, I strayed off the path and ordered a couple pair of shoes from QVC. They didn't work out and what an inconvenient and costly return policy. They dock you for returning. Zappos, I will never stray again. Again, love these boots!

I love these boots, very comfortable, true to size, great arch support. I can walk long distance in these boots and no soreness. Easy to get in & out of boot with the back zipper.

I love these boots. Had tried a size 7.5 on in a shoe store but thy were too big. The store didn't have a size 7 so I found the exact same pair in a 7 online at Zappos. Was the 1st time ordering from Zappos. Was a great experience. The boots showed up just a few days later. They fit perfect. And are great for cold weather wear.
