I own these in black. I am consistently a low volume size 8. When I ordered,I did not notice the green color only sports one set of hooks; they are also roomier then my black 8. To me, they felt like an 8½ that a chunky pair of socks might remedy. The Greens are going back for a pair with much needed hooks.

Received them today...they are simply awesome!!! I am really in love with these boots. Comfy right out of the box, stylish, classic, chic, with a little bit of pop. can be dressed up or down. Well worth the money! I would consider them in another color, I love them soo!

I bought this boot because I thought it was pretty cute, but the thing that cinched it for me was all the raving reviews about comfort. Let me tell you...they were not wrong! This is the most comfortable shoe/boot I have ever owned. I have a hard time finding closed toe shoes that don't bother the neuroma in my toe. (Pointy toe shoes just don't work for me.) This boot was comfy the moment I put it on, and after wearing it for several hours it was still as comfy as a pair of slippers (seriously). If you are debating on whether or not to buy this boot, let your fears dissipate. It is awesome!

Love these boots. So easy to get on and off with the zipper in the back. These shoes are comfortable and casual.

These boots are super comfortable right out of the box! I love the lace look without having to lace them up to put them on because they have a zipper up the back. They look cute over skinny jeans or under long jeans. They are well priced and I would recommend them to anyone.

These are really cute boots. I have never had Cobb Hill before. I usually wear a 8.5W in Clarks so I ordered a 9.5 to accommodate my wide foot. They seemed a little large; however, I think I can wear a thicker sock. I wanted them for winter and snow any way. I love the back zipper for easy entry and the tread on the bottom. I have the green and am hoping to get the teal if they come available.

I absolutely love these boots. I wear them almost everyday, very comfortable and stylish. I normally wear a 7 in flats, got the 7 1/2 for these boots and they fit perfect. I highly recommend.

I love these boots! They are extremely comfortable out of the box. I have plantar fasciitis, walk everywhere and felt no pain. Like others noted, there is absolutely no breaking in period. Interestingly one of the reviewers noted that she has wider feet and they fit great - although I am a 7M, my feet are on the narrow side and I have skinny legs and they feel great - perhaps it is the benefit of the adjustable laces! Personally, I do not like the contrast stitching on the black boots, but since I live in New York City, they should be black in no time.

These boots are absolutely awesome! When I first put them on it felt like I have owned them for years. The leather is super soft and supple and the insole is fantastic. I love combat boots but even the most expensive ones need an insole. I paid a lot for a pair of Bos&Co and they did not even compare to the comfort these have. I absolutely love Cobb Hill and will be buying another pair in a different color. You cannot go wrong with these and Zappos service is the best!

Almost all shoes give me problems as I need a lot of arch support. These are great, and the combination of zip back and laces allows for excellent ankle stability with a lot of room for adjustable comfort. That's good for me, since I spend all day on my feet on concrete, and by the end my feet and legs are swollen and can use a little extra wiggle room. These are very good for walking. My only complaint is that I didn't realized they have a man-made lining, which doesn't breathe as well as I would like. It makes my feet a bit too warm.

I'm VERY picky with my shoes, and can't stand it if I feel uncomfortable for just one second. However, this was not a problem at all with the boots. They felt great from the moment I took them out of the box.

Fantastic boots. Great winter-proof sole (not sewn to the shoe, but it seems durable anyways). Really good color, I'd say a little less shiny than the picture shows, more suede-ish. Most importantly these were super comfortable, right out of the box and even seem to provide the tiniest bits of arch support. Love them, so happy with this purchase!

I LOVE THESE BOOTS! They are my new everyday fall/winter boots. They took a tiny bit of break in. The zipper at the back of the ankle was stiff and rubbed a little blister on the back of my ankle… but once that passed, these have been the most comfortable boots! Also I feel maybe there's a bit of extra room in the toe and I could have gone with a size smaller… but I don't mind it being roomy for thicker socks in a month or two.

I am a teacher who is often on her feet for hours at a time. Right out of the box these were comfortable. The first day I wore these I stood for five hours before taking a short break and standing for three more. It was as comfortable as when I was wearing my sneakers. I am thrilled to have comfortable options other than sneakers! I hope they continue to make shoes with these insoles in styles that are fashionably styled (the options they have now other than these boots are a little drab and boring).

I love everything about these boots! Soft leather, nice shoe strings, the back zipper. My feet are really picky, and these boots were comfortable right out of the box. I got a half size up, to accommodate for warm socks. The boots have a nice sweater lining. My only minor complaint is the laces come out of the to place holder things. Minor though. Love them anyway!

Probably the most comfortable boot I've ever owned- hands down! I have awful feet and needed a pair of boots to work in and ones that look cool as well- and these have done that and so much more. I can wear them all day and even work in concrete floors and they're still comfortable and the stitching does not cut into my bunions. I ordered a 1/2 size up like everyone suggested and they fit perfect. I even put an extra pad in for the balls of my feet for added cushioning. Very pleased and will always buy this brand!

These are amazing, rugged, cute, comfy, perfect with skinny jeans. I got the blue/teal, great color. I have long narrow feet and these fit perfectly, so I'm going to say they are a bit narrow. I normally wear an 8 and the 8 fit perfectly. Love the back zipper, easy in and out, great adjustability with the laces too. I'm looking forward to wearing these with just about anything.

Love this boot! The dark red is actually a bit darker than in the picture and I like it even more. The arch support is amazing and I cannot wait to wear these as I commute downtown this winter!

YES! So excited about these boots. Extremely comfortable out of the box (haven't done a lot of walking yet). Love the back zip for easy on/off. Treads look sturdy enough for winter wear (I will need to waterproof them). Height is perfect for skinny jeans and skirts alike. I got them in green and they are the perfect olive color... trying to resist getting them in another color! Slightly narrow toe bed (where the seam is) but overall good fit.
