These boots are great. I've been looking for a stylish and comfortable low heel boot for work. As a teacher, I'm on my feet a lot. These fit the bill. I also have narrow feet and they work well there too. True to size.

Love love these boots. Super comfy, soft padded insole. They zip up but the lacing is totally functional so you adjust to your calf size or style loose if you want.

This is the best pair of boots I own. I wore them straight out of the box on a trip overseas. I walked over 100 miles in two weeks with them, and never got a single blister during that time. Great support too. Nearly a year later, they are very well worn in, but holding up well. I bought some longer laces for them and find they hold up well to restyling: like folding the top down or wrapping the laces around the back. They breathe well and don't overheat as much as winter boots do.

This shoe is amazing! I can't believe how comfortable these are. This green color is the answer if you are deciding between black and brown. I am even considering buying another pair!

These boots have been through almost everything with me. From my family's trip through Europe, excursions all over the country, and countless days of school, they have never failed me! They're dressy enough to wear with a dress/skirt and tough enough to face just about anything you'd like to do in them. Laced up or half-way, these are the most versatile shoes I've ever owned. Super comfortable from day one to now, three years later. Thanks Cobb Hill!

I originally bought these boots in the aqua green in a half size larger than I wear (I like warm thick socks). After wearing them all around San Francisco and then again in London during the rainy season, I have realized that never have I had a boot so comfortable that kept my feet both warm and dry. I tossed two pairs of rain boots and ordered a second pair of these, this time in black. A nice coat of mink oil is all they need, and perfect! I will never need another boot!

I am usually a solid size 10 but I ordered a 9.5 and it was a perfect fit. So comfortable right out of the box. Enough room in toe box for no rub anywhere. I love the style and the height of the shoe. They are suede which somehow I did not notice when ordering, so would love to see this exact style in a soft leather but keeping them because they are a perfect fit and really cute.

I love these boots! 5 stars is not enough. They fit like a dream and are amazingly comfortable. I was able to wear them for hours right out of the box, and didn't want to take them off. Before purchasing, I was a little worried about the back zipper irritating the back of my heel and leg, but there is a small thin flap of leather that is inset that covers it, so it is not even noticeable (and I'm like the princess with the pea about such things). The zipper makes on/off very easy. My first pair was in the teal, and I loved them so much I ordered two more pairs in grey and red. The zipper on the grey ones has red fabric, which I hadn't noticed before, but it's a nice touch. For some reason, the grey pair is a little more snug than the others, but I can wear them with thinner socks. I am a huge fan of Cobb Hill shoes and own several pairs besides the boots. They do not sacrifice style for the sake of comfort, nor vice versa. Excellent brand in the New Balance family, and well worth the money.

I bought these in black for my daughter. They just arrived, and when she put them on she nearly cried from how comfortable they felt. They are versatile and super cute. She doesn't want to take them off even to go to bed! I didn't notice in the picture that the shoes are mixed suede and smooth leather. They look great, just be advised that the black ones aren't completely one or the other (the colors look all smooth).

LOVE THESE, buying a second pair just in case! I never have found a more comfortable and stylish shoe! HOORAY!

Love these boot. Comfortable right out of the box. First bought Sorel's Joan of Arc which I wanted to love, but my feet were killing me at the end of the day. Wore these for 1o hours the first day and felt no need to get them off at the end of the day. Green is a great color. Zipper in back is sweet. I have had no issues with the laces coming undone. I'm usually a size 7 and the 7 in these fits perfectly. If I wanted to wear thick socks, I would go a half size up.

This is a beautiful and very comfortable boot with a cushioned insole and decent arch support. I am usually a 10-1/2, so I went back and forth between a 10 and an 11. The 11 was noticeably wider but too long, so I am returning it and keeping the 10, which is definitely long enough but possibly a bit narrow. I know it will stretch a bit, so I'm sure it will be fine.

I ordered these in the Blue/Teal and the color is quite a bit more vibrant in person than it appears online. Not quite what I was wanting, so I'm exchanging for the grey. But the shoe itself is awesome. The arch feels really cushiony and supportive to me, and I have a fairly high arch. I almost didn't even want to take them off; but I must if I'm to exchange them for a more subtle color. ;-) Highly recommend!

These are some comfortable boots. The leather is soft and, the arch support is excellent, and the zipper is sturdy and looks quite cool. They are also lined and very warm. It was about 60° today and my feet got a bit warm whilst wearing these. But that is hardly a complaint. These are some really wonderful boots. I love all the colors, too!

You get what you pay for, and then some. Incredible comfy, wonderful arch support, great looks, and great color. Will order another pair.

I love these boots. I wore them for the first time today and I cannot believe how comfortable they are. I have had terrible problems with my feet because of plantar fasciitis for years and I have to be really careful about what shoes I try to wear, sticking mostly to running shoes with orthotics. Today when I put the boots on, they did not feel right with my arch supports so I took them out. I actually wore them all day, with no extras inside. What I felt was wonderful. The heel height helped give me more arch support, and the soles are soft and give when you walk. I am still amazed at how good these boots felt. The leather is beautiful and they are really well made. I almost bought the teal but then the green called my name. The colors are beautiful. I love my boots.

I rarely take the time to write reviews but these shoes are the absolute best! I bought them for the style but had no idea how comfortable they would be. The quality and detail put into these shoes is worth every penny. I will definitely shop this brand again.

I purchased these for my daughter, who wears a size 7 - 7½ - depending on the shoes. She got these in a 7 and they fit perfectly. She said they are very comfortable right out of the box - and she went on a long two hour walk the day she wore them for the first time. They were absolutely comfortable! I told her this is why I buy Cobb Hill shoes - they are quality-made, stylish, and always comfortable.

I cannot tell you how much I love these boots! I got the gray, and it is a nice soft leather . I ordered up to a size 9 , but I could have gotten my regular 8.5 and it probably would have been a little better for me. I have terrible bunions/ arthritis and the only other shoes I have been able to wear are my Uggs and my Nike Free Flyknits because they they don't leave me in pain- but these are fantastic! No pain at all, I can wear them all day and they are so comfortable. I love the back zipper so they are easy on and off. The leather loosens up more and more and sometimes then top couple of laces come undone, but that is minor. I am going to be looking for more of these, or this brand.

I feel like I entered an alternate reality when I tried these on today - these are worlds more comfortable than any shoe I've ever worn. Is "life-altering" too strong? Probably, but we're all a bit more passionate about our Zappos products than the average Joe. Color-wise, meh. I bought the red, and it's more like rose; I'm returning it for a different color, but I'd definitely recommend these in whatever color you can tolerate.

Love these! Comfortable and convenient to get on because of the zippers. I have tough feet to fit, a little wide, but not officially a wide size, need toe box room and arch support. I buy 9.5 in sneakers and boots and the 9.5 fits well.

These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. Seriously, you won't believe it. I am recovering from a broken knee, so I have to make my shoe choices differently now. I wear them as much as I possibly can with my wardrobe and do not take them off when I get home from work. Worth every penny, no matter how long they last (though they seem well made). I love the back zipper vs. how many others have a side zipper. Great boots, overall.

Purchases green version. Extremely comfortable boots. Leather is weighty but very flexible. Warm enough to wear for short walks outside in extremely cold weather, but not too warm to wear indoors. Zipper up back is cute, but makes an annoying jangle when walking.

These are gorgeous! I got them in the teal, and they are a rich jewel tone with a nice shine to the leather, and I haven't had any trouble matching them to lots of colors in my wardrobe (they're practically a neutral). So, so comfortable immediately... I even wear them in the house, and I'm an "always walk around barefoot" kind of person. I got these to wear in the winter and so far they are great for walking in small amounts of snow, ice, etc. they have a light knit lining and are warm enough- I've been wearing them with thin wool socks- but I think they will be cool enough for spring and fall, as well. Style wise they are good under jeans or other pants, or over leggings or tights. Been a while since I've liked boots that aren't knee high this much. I like the zipper in the back as well- they make it easy to get in and out of these, but I also use the laces. Occasionally when using the zipper, the lace will come off the quick loop things on the top of the boot, but this isn't a problem at all.

I was really surprised at how comfortable these boots are. The insole is amazing and I have very happy feet at the end of the day. I usually can't wait to take my shoes off after a long work day but I didn't have that urge when I wore these for the first time. Plus, they are super cute and I've gotten many compliments.
