The noche color is a clean, simple light tan. Leather was soft. It would have been a go to shoe for anything casual, but I have narrow ankles. The shoe would not stay on in the back. Had to return.

These shoes are very pretty flats. However, I wore them for 1 hour and they cut into my ankle and made me bleed. They fit true to size, but they also lacked arch support.

I had such high hopes for these simple shoes-- they seemed comfortable when I tried them on at home. Instead, the Born brand has disappointed me for the first time! I wore these shoes for a weekend in Napa and ended up with terrible pain from the weird extra tall vamp that hits my achilles awkwardly and the stitching inside the shoe is rough and rubs constantly. I've now named these "THE CRUEL SHOES" and will likely not be able to wear them again since I feel nauseous just thinking about the incessant pain I incurred when I wore them for just an easy strolling/wine tasting weekend. P.S. I have never reviewed a product before, but was so disappointed by this one that I felt compelled to let people know. Thanks

Runs small; no support

Absolutely no side support. your foot just sort of flattens out in it.

The leather on these is "distressed" - looks scratched and faded. I didn't even take these out of the box so disregard comments on fit. Very disappointed. For almost $90, I want them to look nice, not old & scratched up!

I have flat feet so I was excited to find a flat with arch support, to bad these were to narrow. By the end of the day it felt like my toes had been wrapped up all day.

I wanted to like these so badly. I still want to like these so badly. They're cute, they fit well, and they work well with jeans or office attire. HOWEVER they rip up my heels every time I wear them. I've had these shoes for two months now and I've tried everything -- breaking them in in socks, multiple heel inserts, nothing works. These shoes make my feet bleed every time I wear them.

Ouch! These shoes were so uncomfortable! I usually love Born brand shoes, but promptly returned these because they hurt my feet.

These are adorable looking, but they are not comfortable for my 9.5M foot. I ordered true to size, but as soon as I put them on, I knew that these shoes would leave me bleeding at the heels. The high back feels rough and abrasive, and my toes also felt pinched on the sides. Because the footbed fits me perfectly, I don't think going up or down half a size will help. I'm returning them and keeping the Joseph Seibel Pippa 07, which also has a high back but is much softer and exerts zero friction.

Color is closer to mustard yellow. Must return.

I normally take an 8B shoe but I could barely get my foot in this shoe. Decided not to try a larger size based on other reviews of heel rubbing.

Cute by painful! A few steps in and my feet were screaming to take them off. I wish that weren't the case.

These do have a decent amount of arch support for flats. However, I found the edging around the shoe scratchy, tight, and immediately uncomfortable. Went right back in the box and returned.

I have owned a pair of Born's before and loved them. I thought this pair would be a perfect combo of comfort and style. I ordered in my usual size and they were way too small. I ordered in a 1/2 size up, STILL too small. My toes poked at the top on the end, and they were narrow as well. The "moderate arch support" ended up being more visual than actual. Just because they have a demarcated pad for your arch, doesn't mean there is actual support. The material looked nice, but I can tell it would look scratched and beat up after a few wears. (I ordered the grey.) Disappointed.

Normally I love Born shoes, so I was excited to get these in the beautiful panna cotta color, but they instantly had a big noticeable scuff across one shoe after trying them on around the house. I decided to just live with it, but now I have worn them a few times for short periods and now both shoes have several scuff lines on them. They damage VERY easily. I really wish I could return them and get a pair in a different finish! Would not recommend the panna cotta color, but I'm sure the regular leather would hold up as nicely as usual.

The color is not what I expected. This is not a traditional navy,but more like a washed-denim or "storm cloud". The toe box is large and the leather is very soft and flexible...too much so for me.

Wanted a basic flat. Love Born. Excited about the reviews of this shoe having arch support. I wear 11 but based on reviews discussing size ordered 11, 11w & 12 to compare how they felt on my foot in the Noche, Brown punched, Grey and Panna cotta. Panna cotta TOO gold for me. Liked the other colors, 11/11W WAY too short & tight! 12 felt okay. Wore around the house a bit but the upper edge elastic is scratchy and the back rubbed my heel. Concerned prolonged wear will result in the blisters & discomfort that so many of the reviews complained of. Decided if I'm paying this much for a shoe I want it to feel pretty much perfect out of the box, not just "ok". That coupled w/blister potential from the heel and the top they are all going back. On a good note, arch felt pretty good--better than "moderate" but I wouldn't say "excellent". Also, as always, Zappos ROCKS! ordered 4:30p yesterday & were delivered by 4:30p today.

Not enough for support for me...very soft and a flat heel.

Too stiff and too narrow for my daughter's wide feet.These will be going back. Also, I ordered the pana cotta color and didnurealize it wasn't a uniform color - and I don't like the blotchy look of it.

I bought these to replace a pair of worn out Clark's flats that were very stylish (simple but got a lot of unexpected positive comments about them. Unlike what another reviewer said, I did not find the toebox to be wide - I actually ended up using a shoe stretcher to make it more comfortable. Also, these feel very flimsy and don't have any real arch support. There is a little lump in the arch area, but if I were a bigger person, I'd squish it. All in all, I'm not impressed but I can't return them because I've stretched them out. These remind me more of house slippers than shoes and are not particularly attractive either.

The fit of this shoe was great, but the finish on the exterior was a huge disappointment. The grey leather looks like it has been worn to a dull whitish color especially at the toes and the sides. I tried putting a saddle soap polish on and it did not really help. The grey leather is just wrong. Too bad, because the color goes with everything.

I bought these in Berry and really wanted to like them. I found the inside super scratchy and uncomfortable around the heel and the top of the foot. The fit felt true to size and they were not too tight. Also the Berry color is more maroon than it looked online. Not what I was looking for. I am surprised how many reviews say they are comfortable. Sadly, I'm returning.

The shoes were too small and rubbed on the back of the heel. They were wide for my bunions. I'm disappointed because I was hoping these would work.
