I love the look of these - just not on me. I wear a 8.5 or 9 wide. Despite only having regular width, I decided to try them in 8.5. They were a little snug across the ball of my foot but not uncomfortably so. However, they were at least a full inch too long. It looked as if I was wearing someone else's shoes. Since the toe box was already snug, I don't think going down a size would help. The quality is great and there is a decent amount of cushion for a flat. Great shoe for someone, just not me.

Super comfy, true to size. I have other Born flats. The ribbon/material next to the leather is a few colors off from the leather and it makes it look cheap. I would have fixated on that.

I ordered the Panna Cotta color. It was an attractive speckled gold color. I liked the construction of the shoe. The insole was very cushy and has a cute floral pattern with some arch support. The soles are made of a nice rubber material that seems like it would not slip on slick surfaces. I liked the elasticized edging around the edge of the leather touching the foot. They are cute flats. This would help against chafing, I think. I had high hopes for these shoes. Unfortunately they were too narrow for my toes. I wish Born made these shoes in wide width. I have bunions and bunionettes on both feet and the toe bed was too narrow and shallow for my foot so my bunion protrudes out of the elasticized part and it looked ugly and didn't fit right. I'm pretty sure these would be great, comfortable flats for women with narrow toes and no bunions. For these lucky women, I could picture being able to walk all around town in these shoes in style and comfort.

These are my third pair of Born flats that I've owned and my least favorite - my others took absolutely no time to break in and after several weeks, I still can't wear these a full day where I plan on spending moderate time walking around. These blister and dig into the back of my heel, partially caused by the elastic edging around the opening of the shoe. I want to wear these all day like I can my other Born flats, but I have a feeling it's going to be a while.

My daughter loves this style and raves on the comfort. However, the leather wears quickly! They already looked worn by the second wear.

I bought these to switch from heels while at work. I put on my heels when I see clients, I slip these back on for the rest of time. They're not beautiful, but they are comfortable enough to keep me walking on my treadmill desk more than 15,000 steps per day!

Not a bad flat but the back is somewhat high and somewhat hard so caused blisters even with wearing thin socks. I will try again but this time with bandaids on and breaking of back of some first. If I can make the back work, they will be more 4 star.

This shoe is amazingly comfortable and very stylish (I have a pair in "blue"), but it is not navy. It's a lighter-than-navy blue that looks all scuffed and mottled. When I got my first pair, I thought they had sent a damaged pair by mistake, so I asked for an exchange. The new pair is exactly the same. It is going back.

I love Born flats, have many colors. This grey is more a mushroom color, grey with brown undertones. Weird color. I kept them because they're comfortable and look okay. The color isn't what I expected.

I ordered the pewter color. Opened the box and the color is really more like bronze. I tried them on anyway, and they are so comfortable that I am keeping them! But if you really need a pewter colored ballet flat, these won't work.

This is my second pair of Juliannes, so clearly I like them. They are comfortable and cute in a plain way -- I'm not a big fan of bows or hardware on the toe. I bought them because two days of walking around in heels at a conference made it clear that I need some flat professional-lady shoes. My only complaint is that I would like more arch support (which I have gotten in spades from other Born shoes), but I think that is not possible with a thin ballet flat sole. People looking for serious arch support might look at Dansko's flats.

I purchase the Julianne in Pewter. In person, Pewter has more of a copper undertone. I really needed pewter for versatility. They are sadly going back. All other aspects of the shoe were great, just wrong color for me.

I wanted a nude color ballerina and this is it. It's a little "antiqued" and this is fine with me. There is a cloth trim around the top that blends in okay in this color but cheapens the look, especially in other colors. Leather binding would've been classier. Fit is pretty good, although not perfect for my extra-long big toe and slender, flat-instep feet. A little arch support, nice.

This is my third pair of Born Julianne's. They're an essential for the days my feet need a break from heels.

I bought this to replace a Cole Haan pair very similar to these. I got a small blister from this shoe, over my bunion. I think it's the elastic on the top of the shoe. But I would wear these again; they're very comfortable.

These shoes are very nice and quality materials, construction. I did have to put a padding on the inside in order to make them fit right; they were a tiny bit large and need to fit tightly in order to stay on. But it's hard to find a nice blue flat like these, and I recommend them.

Great shoe! These are comfortable and supportive. I got a 7, normally wear a 7.5 or an 8, so runs a little large. Oh-I wear them barefoot, and I do find they get a bit stinky. Haven't figured out how to clean them yet After wearing for a month or more (definitely broken in, but still a lot of life in them) the fabric glued (?) to the insole on one of the shoes started to separate from the insole - from the toe to about the ball of my foot. This was super annoying but my good friends at Zappos came through with excellent customer service and have allowed me to exchange the shoe!

These are versatile shoes. They go with just about anything. They are not the most comfortable shoes but I have problems wearing flats. I need the support. There is a slight arch support that most flats do not have so that is a plus.

Love the look of this shoe. Can be worn with browns or blacks. I have had a hard time breaking them in because of the stitching around the heel, but overall they are wonderful. The footbed is extremely comfortable.

These shoes are not as comfortable as I would expect from Born. But I do think that they are getting slightly more comfortable with wear. The toe box is tight and it rubs on my heel as well. For flats, they have okay support, but I would not go as far to say that they have good arch support.

The Born Julianne flat has slowly taken over my shoe collection. I purchased a clearance pair out of desperation and was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and look of the shoes. I walk frequently throughout the day, to and from work and need flats with some support. These have somewhat of a memory foam type cushion in the bottom and decent arch support. They also have room if you need an arch support insole which I've done before. I am usually a 9.5 in other shoes and a 10 in flats which is true for the Julianne. I will say I think they sometimes make my feet look bigger in certain outfits but for the cost, real leather and comfort compared to other brands I will stick with the Julianne.

These are very comfortable and do not gape when I walk. The elastic trim is not super attractive, but the shoes stay on nicely and are comfortable and I love this color.

I bought this shoe because I wanted a comfortable flat for walking that didn't look too sporty. I do like the shoe but I would disagree with reviewers who claim it's a good walking shoe. If you walk slowly and don't have miles to go, it's fine. I would describe this as a cute and comfortable flat, but not a sightseeing shoe. One good thing for me is that it fits my wide feet.

These are an excellent comfortable flat for pairing with jeans or a dress. I also use them for work, though the rounded toe and coloring on the grey shoes is very business casual and not quite formal enough for conferences/meetings (which is a shame because they are so comfortable). They fit well and have never caused me any blisters. I'm not giving these 5 stars because the materials are not super high quality for the price ($90 for flats is HIGH!). These shoes looked quite worn within a month of moderate/heavy wear. Also, maybe it is just me but the insides started to smell from my feet!

Versatile shoe, however, I had to return because it was slightly too big. I'm an 8.5/9 (I always order a 9 in running shoes and 8.5 in just about everything else). I ordered an 8.5 and my heel was slipping out. Not sure if an 8 would fit either -- I fear I'm right on the cusp. Seemed well made though. Hope it works for you!
