Make sure you want a gold shoe if you order this.

It's a simple very flat shoe. Normally I prefer a shoe with more support than this but color works well with a lot more outfits I expected, so I kept it. I do some walking a work and it's comfortable enough for there. Not a shoe that I would be comfortable to do a lot of walking in.

The color isn't as vibrant or dark as I wanted and was lighter in some spots than others. The elastic helped it to fit better with less slipping, but it pinched the top of my foot. If it were cut a little lower, it would probably fit better.

Lovely shoe that fits my high arches. It seems to fit perfectly so I'm surprised that I getting chafed at the heel. The back slightly lifts up and down when I walk. Hoping to break them in. Meanwhile, moleskin.

A nice solid, but bland, shoe. I wanted a little more character. Fit true to size.

I have a wide toe box and narrow heels, so it's quite difficult to find a shoe that has the correct proportions. I ordered this one in Wide, and the proportions were almost perfect (wider toe box but not so large in the heel to make it flop off like so many other flats do). However, it felt too snug overall, so I am going to try it a half size larger.

I really like Born flats. This my second pair and they fit me very well. However, this time I ordered the "distressed blue" not even thinking about keeping them clean, that was a big mistake. The first time I wore them I got a huge smudge on the toe area when my foot hit the under side of the car as I got in. I took a clean eraser and managed to get most of the mess off, then the next time I had another smudge of dirt on the shoes.I do like the shoes but will never get a suede shoe in a light color again. I will buy Born flats again!

I wanted some comfortable flats with just a little more cushion than standard ballet flats, since I do a lot of standing work at my office desk. The cushioning on the sole of my foot is great. The elastic that holds the shoe on your foot does fatigue the sides and top of my foot near my toes toward the end of the day, but doesn't pinch in the back the way other flats with the elastic seam have. I got the Noche color, and it is tan, maybe a little less peachy/pink than the pictures that I see on my device.

Love these shoes, can wear all day walking without a problem! Not a true navy, more of a dark blue with blue shading.

The shoe is quite comfy and the elastic helps keep the heel from slipping. Re the color: It says "panna cotta" on the website; the box says "silver"; the shoe in fact is gold. A bit confusing to say the least!

Basic shoes, great for work. Not a sexy shoe but practical and comfortable.

This is the most comfortable shoe I've found for the office thus far. They're not the prettiest (they're actually quite plain), but they go with pretty much everything. They look good enough that I'm willing to sacrifice a little style for comfort. I do have a desk job and am not on my feet all day, but these shoes have still done well with my problematic feet.

I bought these because I need a basic black flat that will last a while. The shape of the toe does not squeeze, the heel does not slip and the insole has some padding.

These are nice for flats, although based on other reviews I thought the wide would be a tad bit wider. Not a deal breaker, as these are super cute and comfortable. NOt sure how they will be all day though.

Overall shoe was great--the color was just a rustic faded navy, not a dark navy like in the picture. I had to return--just wasn't what I was looking for.

Perfect for my narrow heel, average instep foot shape. The elastic is relatively inconspicuous, which is a relief. They were quite comfortable right out of the box, and I've had several days so far where I walked 7+ miles in them with no problem. I chose the full-grain leather specifically so they would be breathable and haven't been disappointed - I mostly try to wear them with liners, but when I do wear them barefoot they don't get sweaty and they don't stink.

I have a narrow heel and this shoe fit very well, with very good arch support. It felt a 1/2 size too short, so I'm returning it to get the next size.

My usual problem with flats is the lack of arch support. These flats have nice arch support. The problem is the rest of the shoe. My toes felt very cramped and were very sore after wearing. I even ordered a half size up, thinking that was the problem but it wasn't. So I now own these in 2 sizes and neither can be worn for very long. Very disappointing.

I bought these based on reviews and they seem to be really nice. Lately it seems like 11s are running small in other shoes, so I got a 12 in these. I have a little extra room, but getting a size smaller would make them too small. The footbed feels soft and there is an attempt at arch support, but it's not much. I would order these again.

This shoe is much too narrow for me. I've been a Born customer for years, and have never had this problem before; I've always ordered shoes in medium as that was the only option. Born was a brand that worked for me, and I am sad to discover how narrow this medium is. Must return. 3 stars for comfort due to the painful narrowness. Might work well for someone with a narrow foot. I've also found that a 9 in Born no longer fits me; I have to size up. My foot has not grown, but the shoes are no longer made in the US.

I have two pair of Born boots and a pair of Born sandals. One pair of boots and the sandals are a size 8 and the other pair of boots is a size 8.5. I originally ordered these in an 8 and they were too small. The 8.5 fits very well. These shoes are cute and comfortable enough. They are my first pair of ballet flats, so I don't know if they are more or less comfortable than others. On the first day I walked about 4 miles total in them and while I had some red (hot) spots on the top of my toes and heels, they didn't leave any blisters. I've worn them a few times since and haven't had any issues. The heel is a little loose in the 8.5 but they don't slide off when I'm walking. Overall, I really like them and they filled a nice hole in my shoe options. I ordered the dark gray color and really like it.

I had to return these. The shoes are cute and fit well, but I had them in black and the dye bled and ruined my white stockings. Back they went. I washed those stockings and the dye permanently ruined them, so they got thrown out too. To Zappos credit, I called them and they gave me a $25.00 credit to be used towards a future purchase because of the ruined stockings.
