Very comfortable. Thought the navy would be darker, but they still do the job.

I have problem feet and can't really wear shoes I can't fit my custom inserts into, but these flats are an exception. The arch support is enough to get me through a day of work. I wouldn't necessarily wear them on a long walk or shopping trip, or in a job where I had to stand all day, but they're decently comfortable. They're a simple ballet flat—nothing special, but cute. I have them in both black and panna cotta, which is a perfect neutral metallic.

The shoe runs short. I purchased a size 12 medium for my 11" foot but the shoe fits me like a size 11 instead of a 12. Even though I would like it to be a tad longer, it doesn't gap on the sides like some others do. The leather is soft so it could work. I'm on the fence about keeping it due to the sizing. One other note- the color is darker than shown on the web site. I would describe it as camel, not the light tan shown on the webpage.

Not often do I buy a pair of shoes a second time, but these fit perfectly and were comfortable with good arch support -- often lacking in flats. I wish they had had the version with the flower available, they're cuter, but these are great and wore very well as I had them on my feet most of the time! As someone else mentioned, I have a wide shoe box, but a narrow heel so I'm often walking out of shoes -- these stayed on my feet

I really wanted to like this shoe but it felt significantly small and narrow to me! Debating buying a W a half size up. It looks like it' d be a super useful shoe. Very basic and plain. Very light-weight shoe as well, not a lot of heft to it.

I like the simplicity of this shoe. The card which comes with the shoes states that variations in the leather are normal. However, the leather scratches very easily. My shoes are gray, so the marks aren't very noticeable.

A good basic shoe. A little snug out of the box but the leather should stretch a bit over time.

Really like these shoes! I'm very picky and think these will quickly become a favorite, but need to be broken-in first as the heel was not comfortable on day one. True to size.

I purchased these flats 3 years ago and I am back to purchase them again in multiple colors! I have worn them on average 4 to 5 days a week for 3 years and they have held up well (even after walking through standing water last summer... I am hard on my shoes...) I initially purchased them for my nurse practitioner clinicals. I spent 8 hours a day standing on concrete floors for 3 years while the physician sat and talked to patients. Prior to purchasing these my feet KILLED me by the end of the day. However, these flats are super comfy and made the standing bearable. Previous flats I've worn dug into the backs of my heels but these never did. They aren't overly fashionable, just a pair of sensible, basic flats. I originally purchased them in terra cotta which turned out to be a rather versatile color. The only negative I found is that they scuff easily.

I have been wearing Born shoes for years because they are typically very comfortable. I don’t know what’s wrong with these, but the leather seems stiffer than usual and that makes them uncomfortable. I usually wear a 7 - I have several born shoes in 7, but the 7 in these were very tight and uncomfortable, so I tried the 7.5 and I still didn’t like them, so they went back. Zappos is the best though!!!

I was looking for a nice pair of gold flats that would work for business casual as well as on the weekend. I tried several pairs, including Danskin, Earth and Trotters. These were my favorites in terms of fit, comfort and style. They have a slightly raised heel and a good amount of padding and light arch support in the shoe. I would personally like it even better if there was more arch support, but it's not bad for a pretty flat. The gold color is not too bright, more burnished and subtle. The sole feels like it will hold up to walking on city sidewalks, which is more than I can say for the Sam Edelmans everyone's so crazy about. My normal size 10M was a perfect fit. Happy with this shoe.

Love the Julianne! It requires some wearing in and stretching especially around the vamp edge and the opening, but they are so cute!

I love these shoes for comfort and durability, I have them in different colors and wear them to work or out and about.

Very nice, well-made shoe for casual/business casual use! Very soft leather, and nicely padded interior...very comfortable. Drawbacks: The soft leather scuffs easily, so keep a bit of clear polish or leather conditioner handy so they can stay nice looking. Also, the high tab on the back of the shoe RUBBED terribly! Its too high! Couldn't wear them after a few hours on the first day. I put a bit of Dr. Scholl's Rub Relief tape (like Moleskin for shoes) on the inside of shoes on the tabs and they now feel fine. Sad that Dr. Scholls discontinued this product, but there are similar products you can purchase.

Great looking shoe, good for easy feet. Decent arch support but not good support elsewhere. Could tell my feet would get tired fast.

This is the third pair of Born Julianne I have purchased. The first two have worn really well and are still soft and comfortable after a couple of years of steady wear. The newest pair is not nearly as comfortable from the beginning. I ended up with multiple blisters the first time I wore them. My favorite perfect classic flat so hoping they break in a bit.

Overall this was a nice shoe. It was very comfortable and had plenty of room in the toe box. The material was nice and I loved the tan color, it would go well with jeans. However, I decided not to keep them because the toe was too round. In the photo it appears to be more of an almond shape, but once I received the shoe, I saw just how round it was on the foot - not my personal preference.

Well, I'm a "Johnny-come-lately" with this review, but I thought it might be helpful, so, here goes... I ordered this flat last year in May for an upcoming trip to the west coast. I always wear a 7.5 in Born and it's one of my favorite brands. When they arrived, I tried them on and the toe box was horribly uncomfortable, pressing down as though it were not nearly tall enough to accommodate my toes. I do not have a large or fleshy foot, and always wore a narrow shoe with a AAAA heel before I had children. Now I take a medium width. Anyway, I knew a larger size was out of the question, as it would slip on the heel; the length of the shoe was not the issue. My trip was rapidly approaching, and the style and color looked appropriate with the clothes I was packing, so I took large wads of paper and balled them up inside the toes, thus creating crude stretchers. It worked! I was able to wear them on the flight and all around town without any problems. I'm still wearing them, and still ordering Born!

I ordered a half size bigger than normal based off other reviews. The first time I wore these they rubbed a little on the heel, but not enough to cause a blister. After this initial wear, these shoes didn’t cause any more problems and were cute and comfy. So cute my GSD puppy ate them.

The grey is more muted and lighter than I expected as I thought it would be a little more pewter. The bottom of the shoe was nicely padded and comfortable in that area. This shoe is too narrow for me in the toe box area. My feet are wide in the toe box area and narrow in the heel. I ordered a wide also and will return the medium. Padding will have to be added to the wide to keep it from rubbing my heel. There also some toe cleavage, even in the wide, but more tolerable in the wide.

The gold is brighter than I expected as I thought it would be a little more burnished. There also was too much toe cleavage. The bottom of the shoe was nicely padded and comfortable in that area. This shoe is too narrow for me in the toe box area. My feet are wide in the toe box area and narrow in the heel. I will return and will need a wide and probably add a cushion to keep the heel from slipping.

The toe area was very comfortable. But the mid brown was more matte than I thought it would be. Looked too casual for my taste.

I've been searching for a flat shoe I can wear with dresses that won't kill my bunion, and these did the trick! The pannacotta color is adorable and very modern! The only problem I had was that one of the shoes made an odd twisted look in the toe box when I put in on, but I needed something to wear right away and didn't have time to exchange it. That's why I knocked off one star. I think it was just a fluke, probably not a normal thing. The stretchy back works wonderfully for me. I had no problem with slippage. It was true to size for length and width. I will be ordering more colors!
