I ordered this in a 6.5 after realizing the 7 I ordered in another Born flat style was too big. The 6.5 in this style was too small, so I ordered it in a 7. That was also too big. So apparently sizing for this runs consistently for Born shoes, but I am in between a 6.5 and 7 in their sizing. The 6.5 is significantly narrower than the 7 and tighter all around, while my foot doesn't even stay in the 7. I will say the leather seems good quality; it is soft, supple, and not at all too stiff. The tab at the back, which I was worried would cut into the back of my ankle, does not. Excellent arch support. It is too bad I couldn't find a fit in the shoe.

This grey flat will go with so many colors, a new neutral. It is very comfortable right out of the box with no rubbing or pinching or gaping on the sides. I found it to be very true to size and width at a size 7. Will likely purchase at least one more pair in another color!

These shoes are very comfortable, even from the first time wearing them. The front is a little plain but the bow on the back is very cute. Good wardrobe staple.

Simple, cute design. Surprisingly comfortable for a lightweight shoe. Walked for miles in NYC. I find it more comfortable wearing a very lightweight sock. Accommodates my bunions.

The Goal: a pair of comfortable, simple, yet attractive nude flats that I could wear with absolutely everything. The Search: I looked through every single offering on Zappos and ordered/tried on over 5 styles of flats. The Result: These were the clear winners. They look cute, the matte nude finish visually disappears once you're wearing them, and they provide ample arch support (without being too bulky). I've been wearing them with skinny jeans, colorful pants, leggings, and skirts since I got them. In addition to day-to-day wear, I'm looking forward to wearing these at conferences for work where I both have to look pulled-together but also want to stay comfortable while I'm on my feet all day. I'm really pleased with these shoes!

Love these shoes. Super comfy. Great color. Nice to have a pair of flats which has cushion. I imagine these will get a lot of wear.

Love this shoe, comfortable right out of the box. It has more cushion than most ballet flats, but still more comfortable for shorter work days. True to size, no rubbing.

These flats are one of the best! Worth the money! I am very picky when it comes to shoes & I wanted to find a comfortable pair of flats that looked nice... I have looked everywhere and was hesitant to spend the money on these but after receiving them, I feel I may have to order more. They are made for narrow feet, which I have and regular flats would be too loose on my foot. The insoles are one of the best I've ever felt. I couldn't be more pleased with these.

These Born flats are stylish and comfortable.Born tends to run slightly on the smaller side, so I always buy the higher end of my size range, and they fit great! I wore them all week at a conference I recently attended (while pregnant) and I was glad I had chosen them!

This shoe was very comfortable when I tried it on but the pewter color I ordered looked more like a rosy brown when it arrived. Was hoping maybe I was shipped the wrong color but the style numbers match up. I'm looking for a true pewter colored flat so I'm returning these and will continue to look.

Great little shoe. Comfortable from the start. I like the cushioning and moderate arch support. (Note: I have very high arches so the arch support is probably better for those with "normal" arches.) I also have a foot that is wide-normal and the shoe fits nicely especially at the outer side of my foot where other ballet-style shoes don't come up high enough. Lots of great colors. I may be coming back for more!

These are a gorgeous deep red that acts as a neutral. Thick, soft leather, a shape and cut that is leg and foot-flattering and looks good with skirts and any type of pant leg. Nice cushioning - I'm a college professor who walks all over campus and stands all day. Might have to get the nude color too!

Bought these to wear with a dressy slacks outfit, and they work just great. I appreciate the good workmanship, high quality linings, and the little arch support -- shoes this flat rarely have any at all. They are nice and minimal, no pointy toe squeeze, no "toe cleavage."

These shoes are the best things ever made. Got mine right before a trip that involved 20km of sightseeing on foot, and got nary a blister. Super comfy, and seem to be wearing well. Now I need more colors.

I really wanted to like this shoe. It fit perfectly and was just what I needed. But - the ribbon-like edging around the opening was very rough and chafed my foot raw in the hour I wore the shoe around the house. So back it goes!

It took a lot of trial and error for me to find the perfect black ballet flat -- and this is it. Not falling off my foot, not chafing my heel -- just right! After a short break-in period, comfortable enough to walk a couple of miles in. I may eventually get them in another color!

LOVE these shoes. They're comfortable and go with everything. The finish is like a rough leather, but not quite suede. In preparation for a trip to a particularly rainy climate, I waterproofed them with the spray stuff, and they turned out great - they were a lifesaver for drizzly days!

I wear a size 6 medium and have painful bunions so it's very hard to find shoes, especially flats, that don't hurt. But these were instantly comfortable, and they don't gap when I walk. The padding inside is comfortable too. I'll probably get these in others colors.

I was looking for a comfortable and cute flat for work. I decided to try these because I have never had an uncomfortable Born shoe although I have never bought their flats. These are by far the most comfortable flats I have ever owned. I wear them every day to work and stand on my feet all day. They are soft and flexible but the support of a "hard" shoe. I also like the way the shoe comes up higher on your heel than most shoes. I've had my shoes for a few weeks and I'm trying decide what other colors I want. I love them!

I love these shoes! I have one pair in red, one in the yellow-orangey color (forget what they call it) and one in gold. They are so comfy. I have never been able to wear ballet flats without getting blisters before. The leather is so soft and molds to your foot that I can wear them all day at work without my feet getting irritated. If you get a metallic color, I found that the gold leather was not quite as soft and took a bit longer to break in. Once it did, though, very comfy as with the other leather colors. Finally, I have bunions and finding shoes that don't irritate them can be a huge challenge. If you have the same problem, here's what I found: the toe box is pretty generously sized (relative to more trendy ballet flats), and it comes up over my bunions, instead of rubbing against them. The leather stretches out nicely. I've had almost no pain with these shoes, which hardly ever happens with dress shoes.

I have looked for flats for years! These are perfect. They are comfortable, true to size and super cute!

Very comfortable and I love the peach color can mix/match with so many ensembles,but it does get dirty very easily and definitely do not wear it in the rain. The leather stains easily on this lighter version of the shoe.

These are the most comfortable flats I have ever worn in my LIFE! They are just as comfy as TOMS or sneakers. Seriously. And they look so darling and cute with everything. They have a very vintage/youthful/school girl like vibe, which I was unsure about at first, but once I tried them with all my outfits I was very pleased. I tried the 9.5 instead of my usual 10 because I read they run a little big and they fit perfectly. I highly recommend!

Oh my! I have feet that are wider in front, and narrower at the heel, so finding shoes, particularly ballet flats, that work is a terrible chore. And I tend to shy away from elastic because it always cuts into the back of my heel. These shoes, however, are perfect! I loved them so much, I bought two pairs, and am considering a third. And I don't tend to spend so much on shoes, but these are worth it. I can wear them to work to look dressier, but it feels like I'm wearing slippers. The only downside is they are very basic in style, but that also makes them very versatile. The Noche (Tan) is a perfect neutral, and the dark blue is a nice shade of blue, and will not easily be confused with black. Highly recommended!
