Perfect flat. Comfortable and classic, well made. Will work for business casual and casual wear.

I bought this shoe in "punched black" for summer. I have high arches and back problems but am not ready for "old lady" shoes, so I'm always looking for low-heel shoes with good arch support that are still attractive and professional looking. As ballerina flats go, these are the best I've tried for under $100. Very comfortable right out of the box. The material is flexible, and the insole has a uniquely padded instep that provides enough support for a normal day of walking to/from/around the office. I saw others' reviews about rubbing and stiff leather, but that wasn't my experience at all. Maybe it's the perforations, but these are very soft. I generally wear a size 8 in flats (B width, but I like a little extra room in the toe box), and this 8 felt just right. My only issue with them is that they turn my feet black. I thought that would stop after a few wears, but it hasn't. Nevertheless, I'm back to get another pair in suede for fall.

I love these shoes. They are simple, so they go well with my dresses, work pants, and even jeans. They did initially rub my ankle, so I wore band-aids the first few times I wore them and now I have zero issues. I stand a lot for my job, so having the little bit of added cushion makes a world of difference from the cheap shoes I used to wear. I would recommend these, just make sure you take some precautions while breaking them in.

I find these shoes to be pretty comfortable for flats - a little more support in the arch and sole than you often find in other flats. I did order half a size up based on other reviews. The leather also seems to stretch a little (not becoming too loose, just not as stiff) after a few wears. I now own them in two colors and am considering purchasing more!

These appear to be exactly what I need; it's rare to find a ballet flat with padding and arch support. Unfortunately for me they run smaller than the Clark's I usually purchase. Will try again a half size larger.

I ordered the Born Julianne in Silver. It is not a true silver, it is more of a Winter Gold, if you know that color. The shoe is just beautiful, soft, and the elastic around the shoe is not the kind that will rip your heel off. There is a nice little arch support inside the shoe and it has a pretty floral padded insole. The soles of the shoe are rubber, with a nice grip, so you won't go sliding down the driveway to get the mail! I absolutely love Born shoes, and they are generally my best fit, but I have a little bunion I've been fighting on my right foot, and the elastic cuts right across this. Trust me, it's my foot's fault, not the shoe. Having had 13 foot surgeries, finding a flat will be a miracle for me, but this shoe came as close as any I've tried. Good job, BORN!

Love these flats. I have long (size 11) flat feet and have a difficult time finding flats that will stay on my feet. I usually opt for Mary Janes as a result. I ordered a pair in black and they are amazing! Comfortable, simple, elegant flats that stay on my feet. I’m a teacher and spend a lot of time on my feet. I just ordered two more pair so I can rotate the black ones with other colors. The burgundy suede is gorgeous and will look fantastic with my black leggings and pants. The Panna cotta is a lovely gold metallic, however my shipment arrived with two right shoes in the box. As a loyal Zappos customer for 13 years, I can say this is the first time I’ve ever received a quirky shipment like that!

These are the perfect ballet flat. Enough support so I can wear them all day. I did have some rubbing the first day I wore them but I didn't have stockings on, and they broke in very fast.

These flats are AMAZING. They have great arch support, which is important to me because I have high arches which hurt pretty badly if they aren't supported properly. They're dressy enough to make me look sharp in my jeans and blouse combo.

Love these shoes right out of the box. I've been ordering and returning several styles and prices of flats. Finally ordered these, I didn't want to pay the price, but now I feel they are so worth it! They don't press down on my big toe and they are narrow enough in the heel to stay on and and be comfortable. I wish they weren't so plain, but I like the selection of colors. I plan to buy another pair. Just can't decide if I want light or mid brown!

YAY!!!! Finally an online shoe that I don't have to return! True to size, beautiful gold color, and comfortable. I recently had a hip injury which cause the arthritis in my back to flair. Extreme spasms and pain in both my hip, and back. These shoes give my feet the support and stability needed to walk with a more steady gait. They're also a beautiful shoe. I just ordered 2 more pair, the black punched, and the navy suede. Worth every penny. One more thing, they are perfect for the office or casual. Love, love , love!!

Perfect for me! My feet run a bit narrow so for me, these are perfect - an ideal comfortable, good looking flat. Although I purchased in B width it fits my narrow foot great. It's mostly my heel that runs narrow. I expect to buy these in other colors. I love the neutral tan gold as well - it seems to complement everything.

These are great shoes! Very comfortable. I ended up getting two different colors the tan and gold. Might get others in the future.

LOVE THESE. Classic flat and SO SO SO comfortable! I've had these flats in two colors for a few years and just ordered a third. They may seem slightly tight at first but the elastic will stretch slightly and the leather will too. Love the footbed and have used these for walking through cities + standing for long periods of time.

I tried a few different flats before finding these which were perfect. I have a wider foot with a narrow heel. I used these to walk all around London for vacation. Super comfortable. The small lip on the heel made these stay on and not rub like some other shoes. The leather is very soft so these do not need to be broken in.

This is a very comfortable leather flat with a square toe box. I need a wide shoe and the square toe makes a big difference. The shoe has a narrow enough heel to keep my foot from slipping. I usually need an insert for flats, but I don't think one is needed as there is a padded lining. However,this liner could easily be replaced if needed. I'm ordering a shoe clip with a bow to add an option for dressier use.

I love these flats. They are wide enough in the toe box to be comfortable, the soles have enough "grip" to keep from slipping, and during an Oregon downpour, they got wet but there are no spots or stains!

Finally... a ballet shoe that stays on my feet! I have tried many different ballet type shoes and this is the only one that has worked for me. I had to try 3 different sizes however... they seem to run a bit small as I needed an 8.5 when I usually order size 8.

Super comfortable and they look good with just about everything. I can also wear them with my orthotics although they're cushioned enough I don't really need them. The leather is soft, so no blisters when I first wore them.
