This is my absolute favorite running shoe! Great stability yet cushioned just right, especially in the heel. Runs true to size.

I bought a pair of Mizuno Wave Rider 16s after seeing the most awesome Texas State Senator Wendy Davis wear them for her filibuster of the egregious anti-choice law. They are the most comfortable athletic shoes that I have ever owned. The ones that I have are in the rouge red/apple green colors. Not only are they comfortable, the colors look really nice. I will be taking delivery tomorrow on a second pair in the violet tulle/vibrant orange colors. These are really wonderful shoes, even if you are not a runner, which I am not.

Yes, fellow women's rights enthusiasts, this is the famed Wendy Davis shoe. It is also an excellent running shoe with gel-type support that stands up to long distances. The red/green is actually the Wendy Davis pink color. I took these shoes out for a little 4 miler the first day, and they feel great. I usually wear 8.5 in running shoes, and these fit in 8.5 okay for 10k or less, but for 1/2 marathon or more I'd buy a 9 next time. But it's a close call.

When I asked my daughter what she would like for Christmas, she specifically asked for these running shoes. She has worn them in the past and they are her first choice for running shoes.

Excellent shoe. I used to wear Asics, and then they changed the body style so I switched to Mizuno. So glad I did! This shoe is nice and light with just the right amount of support. I am on my 4th pair.

Felt great out of the box, then felt a little rub on my right ankle. This went away though, and they are very comfortable now.

I have always been an Asics girl. My old pair was pretty worn and my knees were hurting when on the treadmill. So, I decided to change things up a bit after reading other reviews for Mizuno. I love these shoes! So light, very comfortable. My knee pain went away after a run with these. Love the color too! Will not hesitate to buy another pair of Mizunos!

Really fit my foot great! Love the colors. I have gotten lots of compliments. They did not require any breaking in. I hit the road running.

Wonderful shoes! I've always been a Mizuno loyalist because I have a wide foot, but this shoe is the most comfortable I've had! I have a pair for the gym and a pair for running!

I have narrow feet. I ordered an 8 narrow (half a size up from my usual 7.5 narrow). The shoes felt great right out of the box. For me, the arch support is perfect: not too much, not too little, there is sufficient room in the toe box, and the shoes stay snug. No negatives to report.

Love this shoe. It's the only brand I put on and immediately feel comfortable. No wearing in, no getting used to it. Great support and worth the money!

Solid construction and materials, lightweight, stable for neutral runner, good room around toes, medium arch support - I have very high arches. Good shock absorption. Love these! colors? ugh, but no biggie for the comfort and quality. 47 yrs old and run 3-5 miles, 3-4 times a week. So much more solid than the 2 pairs of Brooks Ghost I've been through in the past year. Worth the money.

I love this shoe, but I need a 1/2 size smaller. This shoe offers the chance feel the ground and disperses the energy upon impact. It is not a cushiony ride but it allows you to feel the ground.

Really great shoes. Love that the medium is a touch narrower than a lot of brands...holds my foot in a supportive position. These feel really great on my feet as an underpronator. Note however that the 'apple red' shoes are really more like watermelon pink. Nice, but I have pink shoes, so they are going back. I will return, but am hoping they come out with a more winter-like color combo with a black sole.

As usual, Mizuno doesn't disappoint. These are my third pair of the Wave Rider 16, perfect for neutral runners. Lightweight shoes with just enough cushioning for long distances, but not clunky - kind of just right. And fun colors to brighten your runs!

This is the second pair of Wave Rider's that I have owned and I love them. I have had other brands of running shoes, but for me these are my favorite. I am a neutral runner and run about 15 miles a week, plus I use them for all my cross training as well. I would recommend these anyone wanting a good neural running shoe, and the colors are fun too.

This is the third pair of Mizuno running shoes i I've bought, twice the old Wave Rider 15 and now the 16. I have a very high arch and narrow heel but not unusually narrow toe; and these shoes fit me wonderfully. I wear a 7.5 but get an 8 to fit my orthotics. The back of the shoe comes up enough to accommodate the orthotics and not have my heel slip. I only rate the style down 3 stars because I'm not crazy about the color choices.

Great shoe. I had these several generations ago but needed an update badly. They are light yet supportive and have a neutral stance. Nice cushion to them. I give 4 stars to style only because the colors are all sort of weird.

I love these shoes. I've been wearing Mizunos for years but never ordered online. Ironically these fit better than any I've had because most stores don't have the "medium" option. And the stores this year just have flashy multicolor shoes while these are simple and gorgeous. Mizunos do run small, usually wear 7.5 and in these I wear size 8.5 medium.

I love these shoes but they apparently run short. I have a narrow foot and this pair clearly runs narrow. However, they run short. I have to exchange them for the next size up.

These are awesome! I think there's a little extra room in the toe, but they fit great and feel super light. I honestly don't feel like I'm wearing shoes right now. The color is really great, too (I have the all-purple ones). I have a lot of problems with my feet, and I'm wearing these in my office today while wearing a skirt just to let my feet rest from heels. These are a must have. Totally worth the price.

Awesome shoe. I've tried almost every brand of running shoe and nothing beats the Mizuno Wave Rider. It is super-durable and lasts 30-40% longer than any other shoe brand. The Wave Rider is excellent for a 'normal' foot. I regularly wear a size 9 shoe and always go up a half size for running shoes; the Wave Rider is true to that scale.

Love these shoes! Have worn Wave Riders for 10 years but did not like the 15's so I switched to Asics for a year. The Wave Rider 15's gave me terrible blisters and felt short to me in my normal size and too long when I tried 1/2 size up. Was excited to try the 16's and I am back! The toe box feels more roomy than the 15's and I am not getting the blisters. I like the sleekness of them. The Wave Rider 16's feel less bulky overall than the Asics and lighter. Please don't change anything! And I am a plain Jane, so I like that they have a white version!

Very comfortable, I'm working on my midstrike and these are great. I purchased a half size bigger in case my feet swell while running. I'm a happy camper!

I am a new runner and started out in Nike Free Runs. They worked okay for 1-2 mile runs but I needed something with more stability and cushion. I had narrowed down my search between these Mizunos and a pair of Brooks. I couldn't have made a better choice with the Mizunos! I absolutely love everything about them. I went up a half size from what a normally wear and they are perfect. They have the perfect amount of cushion and support. I would highly recommend them.
