I never write reviews but I really want to let everyone know my experience with these shoes. DO NOT BUY THEM. Yes, they're really cute. I get tons of compliments. But they have given me shin splints. How do I know this? I have never in my life had shin pain before. EVER. not once. Didn't even know what it felt like until I started running in these. Keep in mind, I don't even run that much. 15 mi per week max but I do a ton of other exercise and these shoes have really done some damage to my legs, to the point where other activity has become painful too. I was thinking for a while that it's just me, not the shoes but yesterday one of my friends saw me wearing the shoes and told me she has the same ones. I asked her how she liked them and to my surprise she told me they give her shin splints. She had never had shin splints before either. This isn't a coincidence, I'm telling you, something in the design is causing me a lot of pain and I'm done with them. I have reduced ankle flexibility (my ankles always make a popping sound now), both calves are so tight all the time, and my shins hurt so badly. DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES. I repeat, DO NOT BUY THEM. Style is not more important than being injury-free. Go for Asics. Mizuno's quality has really declined as of late and I have learned my lesson the hard way.
