Love these boots! They are well worth the price, and I only wish I had not waited so long to get them. Great for rainy days and trips to the dog park. Very comfortable, and the adjustable back makes fitting calves of all sizes easy--especially great, because the classic were always too tight for me! I went for the large end of my show size spectrum to allow for a thick sock on cold days--and very glad I did! The green is a nice change from black, and goes with almost everything.

I asked for some classic green wellington boots for working in the garden and these fit the bill perfectly! Though with the cute fleece booties they also make a warm fashion statement. These durable, attractive boots will serve me in more than one capacity for many years.

I love, love, love these rain boots. They fit me perfectly (I have a 15 1/2" calves) and they still leave plenty of room thanks to the adjustable strap. I would go a 1/2 size down, but I guess they're larger so you can wear thick socks. They also hit a perfect height (right below my knees). I'm 5'4".

This is a great boot, and worth the investment. I also put in a shoe insert for comfort. Totally worth it when you live in the PNW!

These boots were everything I hoped they would be. They fit my rather large (15.5") calves and I am so excited to wear them in the snow! I might even be able to get skinny jeans inside too. I purchased them with Hunter's tall cable cuff socks and I think they will be perfect for keeping my feet warm inside the Wellies.

I love my Hunters. I have had them for over two years now and other than mud, they are just as good as when I bought them. They are great wellies and awesome for long walks with the dogs.

At last! I returned a pair of Hunter Originals earlier this year because they were too tight on my strong & shapely (not huge!) calves. I was thrilled to see that Hunter wised up and made an adjustable pair that look just as nice...kudos to you, Hunter. I am happy and stylin.' Fingers crossed that they hold up to my shenanigans! Oh, and I wear a size 7 but purchased an 8 and put in Superfeet insoles and they are perfect.

I was undecided between these, the Original, the Original Short, and the Huntress, but it shouldn't have been a contest. The Short ones were far too low to keep the rain out of the boot. The Huntress was far too wide for my calves. The Original were too big around the knee, so the Adjustable were perfect with the cinching. Being able to cinch them made them not move as much when I walked around the apartment. I didn't slip on the rain-covered leaves all around town when I went for a walk outside either, which is super important.

Though pricey, I loved the look of these. With big calves, the adjustable strap was great. At 5'2", however, these hit me in the knee. Sad to be returning.

Good boot but runs big. I wear 7. Ordered a size 7 and I'd have to wear heavy socks to fill them.

I'm 5'3" and wear a 30/32" inseam. I typically wear petite sizes but have athletic calves. I second guessed my purchase for a couple weeks, not wearing them outside until I decided I was going to keep them. I think because I'm short, they hit me in a slightly awkward place right in the middle of the knee. When I sit, the boot is slightly uncomfortable where it hits me in the back of the knee, when I stand they awkwardly rest right in the middle of my knee cap. I have plenty of room in the calf area. I decided to keep them, and they grow on me every time I wear them.

My boyfriend just got these boots for me in a size 6 and they are way too small. I am normally a size 7 and I plan to wear thick socks with them so should I opt for a size 8? I heard that they run big but I am a little conflicted judging by how small the 6 was.

Nice boots! I have narrow legs and large feet (size 10.5). These boots almost fit my legs, but are a bit wide in the feet. I need very thick socks. I kept them.

They are nice and comfortable and, the most important, they keep me dry. I have received compliments the first time I used them. For me it's very important that you can adjust the boot, since I have big calves, but, at the same time, the buckle at the back makes an odd effect in the shape. I normally wear a size 6.5 or 7 and the 7 is perfect, so I do not think you need to order a smaller size than usual. I also want to mention the excellent service from Zappos. It gives you peace of mind when you buy online.

Beautiful, durable boot! My only complaint is they are difficult to get off. They seem to get stuck around the ankle.

Finally! After trying on three other Hunter styles, I've found the boot for me. I'm petite (5'2) and my legs are shapely and somewhat athletic. The adjustable style of these Hunters (which really adjust, and are not just a style gimmick like on the Original Hunters) made them the perfect fit for me. It is still slim by the ankle and I like how you have control of the tightness near the top of the boot. For me, I want enough room to tuck in my skinny jeans or wear them a bit loose with a dress. I tried them with the Hunter Fleece socks but I did not like the seams on the socks, so I figure I'll just wear a regular sock instead. If you are thinking about buying these go ahead, I'm sure you will love them too! Plus if you have any issues, Zappos has the best customer service and will actually help you!

Overall I a pleased with these except there are a couple of oddities: 1) the footbeds of these are not as comfy as my previous cheapo boots. They aren't uncomfortable, they just aren't as spectacular as one would expect for this price. I want them to rock me forward, making walking easy. 2) I chose these specifically because they are adjustable and the Original Talls that are not adjustable fit me fine but don't have enough room in the calf to tuck in pants. So I expected to have to use the adjustments to let these out- but in reality I have these cinched all the way down and have room to tuck in pants. It works for me, just not the way I was expecting.

Best Boots Ever! Third time must be a charm as this was the 3rd pair I tried. Zappos is AMAZING at free returns. I have 15 1/2 inch calves and these boots fit perfectly. They do run big. I am usually a 7.5 and got a 7. They fit perfect. My feet are completely dry from the raining weather. Great work Zappos!

I would have loved to have given 5 stars but the foot of the boot runs very large. Calf size is perfect for my chunky legs though. I'm 5'4" and wear a size 8. Maybe I should have tried a 7 but I was afraid the calf would then have been too tight. Added benefit was I received them next day as I am a VIP member.

I bought them for a 2 week trip to the UK - both London and all over Scotland. Never rained once...they are pretty heavy but look very cute on! I don't really need the adjustable part, but it does make it easier to get in and out of. Yes, any other wellies would have been just fine - but I was going to Scotland, so I had to have Hunter. They are comfy and did wear them all day the couple of times it looked like it may rain. I purchased the 9, I like a little wiggle room for my toes and they are perfect. That is the size I buy in all my boots. I could easily tuck in my skinny jeans (I am far from skinny) but no fun wellie socks for me. Maybe I should have gone with the Huntress, but I like the tallness of these. While in the UK, I saw a lot of people in Uggs, not many in wellies...like I said, it really didn't rain, who would have thought! No rain in the UK in February and March?! By the way, I did notice some buckling around the ankles and I didn't like that much.

I wear a 10.5A and have a narrow calf. I bought this boot because I can tighten the calf to fit. But when I do, it makes a strange looking bulge because the fold in the back of the boot needs to be longer. It is more than full size too wide in both the foot and the ankle. Even though I wear a 10.5 the size 10 was long enough. It is very hard for me to find boots that fit so I am used to too wide boots. I kept this boot.

LOVE these boots! My overly athletic calves make properly fitting rain boots almost impossible to find. But even my 5'3 frame looks leaner and longer in these boots. They give the leg a nice silhouette; pretty and practical--what more could you want? They are a bit heavy, but they're full rubber wellies so of course that should be expected. They'll be nice with long wool socks when the weather turns chilly and wet.

These are certainly the best fit for my 16" calves, however, there is still a little bend in the ankle and there is not much room for skinny jeans or tights. I'll be purchasing a shorter pair for more comfort in walking.
