I was very hesitant about getting these boots, because I didn't want them to fit bad around the ankle side. I have owned other rain boots, and they always hurt my feet if I wore them more than 3 hours, well these boots are just what the doctor ordered. They are comfortable and fit like a glove. I wore these boots for 8 plus hours and my feet felt like I was just taking off my house shoes. THE FIT, THE STYLE ARE JUST PERFECT, HOPING THAT HUNTER MAKES THESE IN THE SHINY STYLE AND MORE COLORS. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

These are great! My athletic calves are a no go on the regular hunter boot, so I was delighted to realize I could order an adjustable pair. Though I haven't worn them much yet (still in snow boot time for me), I look forward to frequent wearing this spring. I usually wear an 8 1/2 and went with an 8 as suggested by others.

LOVE! My athletic calves have prevented me from wearing so many boots over the years, including the traditional Hunter tall boots. These solve the issue - and look darn cute while doing it. They're comfortable and exactly what I wanted. As always, Zappos rocks my world!

Just received these. Unfortunately due to my height can't wear them. I'm 5'-1-1/2 tall and top of boot comes up way too close to back of my knee.

Just received my Hunter boots and love them. I normally wear a six 9 but some review said they run big so I ordered an 8 and they fit good even with thicker socks on.

Love! For someone with large calves (15") I was thrilled to find good boots that fit easily. Also warm and with a liner or wool socks, extra warm.

I love this boot! I have been wanting Hunters for awhile. I wear a size 9 1/2. I first purchased the Original in Navy Size 9. I did what they told me and ordered down a size. I couldn't get the boot over my calf. I don't have huge calves but they are medium size (I have no idea). When I saw the back adjustable originals I had to try them. Not only do they fit, but I even went a size up to a 10. They are perfect! I always check the weather to see if I can bust them out. I got them black and they are sleek and very stylish! This is a great boot for all types of weather rain or snow!

I love these boots! True to size, adjustable calf is great to fit jeans, leg warmers, welly socks etc.

Great boot, arrived promptly and fits perfectly. Because I am pretty short (5'3") the top of the boot does come up to the back of my knee when walking, but this doesn't bother me. Hunter makes a shorter boot style but I wanted this taller one.

I just received my first pair of Hunter boots and they are a practical navy color. I wear a size 5.5 and ordered the 6.0, but they are way too big even with big, thick socks...so I am exchanging these for a size 5.0. Now if we could only get some rain in sunny California!

These are great. I have 15 inch calves and I put them on with room to spare in the calf with my jeans tucked in. They looked good and not bulky. I sized down because the reviews said I should and I wish I had not. I wear an 8 and ordered a 7. I think an 8 will be perfect.

These are the perfect boots for me. I needed to be able to tuck different kind of pants into the boot on quick dog walks. These have plenty of room for that - yet still look very trendy. Very happy I found these!

I wear a 9.5 more for width and I ordered these in a 9 and they fit well. I am in the process of buying the wellie socks to go with them. I ordered them in black and they are great boots. I am 5ft3in with athletic calves and these fit without a problem. I can wear them with leggings of skinny jeans. Just what I was looking for.

Love these boots. I have the Hunter Originals and there was not extra space in the calves. I love that I can make these tighter or looser depending on what socks/pants I'm wearing. I also like that the buckle is in the back--the buckle on the side of the Originals was uncomfortable if I tried to cross my legs. This boot is about an inch shorter than the Original, which is great for someone who is 5'4".

Perfect purchase this winter! I'm 5'2" with wider calves and these fit perfectly. I don't feel like the shaft is too high and I can easily slip these on and off. Just bought sock liners for noticeably added warmth during this polar blast we're having. Love these!

My granddaughter received her Zappos on Christmas & she never took them off all day! They fit her perfectly and she fell in love with them. Love these boots. I'm between an 8 to 8 1/2 and the 9 was a comfortable fit. They are stylish, comfy, and sturdy. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love the boots! So stylish and so chic! Goes really nicely with lots of different outfits! Durable, to clean buff with a microfiber towel dabbed with a tiny bit of olive oil, and voila...looks good as new!

These boots are the answer to my wide calves' prayers! I have always wanted a pair of Hunter Boots but I did not like the look of the Huntress. They were too short and just did not work for me. These boots fit, feel great, and look good to boot! I can wear these with welly socks or over jeans. They are just fantastic for this wintery time of year!

Love these boots! I have plain rubber boots and now I'm so glad I upgraded to Hunter. They have a great shape and are thinner through the ankle which gives a much more flattering look.

I normally wear a 7.5 in shoes and will go up to an 8 in boots so I have room for socks and tucking in pants. I have a really hard time finding boots, as I'm only 5'4" and a size 4/6 but with a really athletic build and 16" calves. After reading the other reviews, which generally said that they ran large, I ordered the size 7. While I could get them on (with boot socks) they were really hard to get on and off because the ankle area was very tight, my toes went right to the front of the boot, and I would have no room for anything other than tights, so I'm returning them to purchase the size 8. The calf area was also a bit tight, but I attribute that to the boots being a size too small in general rather than the calf circumference being too small. Unfortunately the 8's are out of stock right now, but they were so cute that I'll happily (but impatiently) wait until I can get them in the proper size.

I loved these boots! My calves are around 16½" so I was originally nervous about ordering them. They fit perfectly and were considerably lighter than what I expected. Unfortunately I returned them because black was not available in my size. I will be purchasing them as soon as it comes back in stock! I absolutely loved these boots!
