I generally love this rain jacket - great overall length, great sleeve length, nice size hood, etc. I do wish it was just a little bit fuller around my hips. I am 5'6", 125lbs-thin by most standards but my lower body has always been a little fuller than upper body. I ordered a small and find that when the jacket it zipped I could use just a little more room for comfort. I was wearing a pretty light shirt so imagine that anything heavier would start to be uncomfortable.

Jacket is nice and aesthetically pleasing. Just runs a little snug so recommend possibly ordering 1 size up.

I love this jacket. The fit is super cute and fitted, which is nice in a jacket. I got it to replace a one that I had from about 6 years ago and I did notice that this one is shorter and more fitted. I still ended up with the same size but it fits a little tighter. For reference I'm 5'6, 125 and wear an XS. It's my go to jacket in the rain here in Portland

I ordered this jacket to wear while traveling since it can roll up and fit inside my purse when I'm not wearing it. The material is breathable do you don't get as hot as with other rain jackets. I like that the sleeves have velcro so you can adjust at the wrist for extra warmth. The fit is cute so I didn't feel out-of-place in trendy Tokyo. I didn't have issues layering over another jacket. However, despite the positives, rain seems to seep through the jacket if it's doing more than sprinkling out. The hood does not have a cinch for your face and therefore has to be held in place or it blows backward. As other reviewers have stated, the zipper is tricky every time and is impossible to do while walking. I guess you can't have it all, but I still like this jacket!

This coat does run pretty small. I would normally wear a large and have room for layers underneath but with this one I got the extra large, and have room for only a light vest. I really like the pattern and color (blue) and that it has a feminine shape. It seems waterproof so far. The only drawback for me is that the hood isn't removable or able to be folded into the collar.

Still need to put this jacket to the full rain test but I love the look and fit. It was rain proof in a drizzle. Bring it on PNW weather!

In all of my other Columbia coats I wear a Large but with this coat even the XL is snug.

Like the jacket, but it runs very small. I'm normally a medium, but based on other reviews, I ordered an extra large. Glad I did. Don't expect to wear a bulky top underneath.

I liked the subtle pattern but the brown/olive didn't work with my other clothes. A very lightweight jacket. Easily covered to middle of my legs in back (swoop hem is longer in back than front). Is body skimping (nips at waist); I'm 5'1" 110, normally a 2P and the S had more room for a lightweight sweater/blazer underneath than XS. Haven't tried it in rain yet so can't comment on the waterproofing.

I am disappointed to have to send this jacket back. It looks great but fits too tightly under the arms. It is definitely a slim fit which would have been great except for the small arm holes. I am 5'8, am small-boned and wear a size 8. I do have fairly broad shoulders and medium bust. If I go up a size, it will be too big around for me.

I live in the rainy northwest and have several rain jackets for different purposes but I still needed a lightweight jacket that covers my rear end, has some feminine styling and is in-between casual and dressy. This fits the bill. I bought the red because I wanted something that would make me more visible while out walking on dark rainy nights. I almost always buy dark colors when it comes to jackets so I was a little uncertain about such a bright color but I've gotten compliments on it already. I have only two complaints: it has no zippers under the arms to allow for venting on warmer days and it could use an interior zipper pocket. Overall a nice jacket and I would recommend it.

Love how this fits and looks. So far works ok in terms of shedding rain. Just two complaints: 1) The double zipper is very hard to engage - you have to really yank down on it in order to zip. 2) the cinch cords on the hood do not stay in place and are difficult to secure - so on a rainy windy day the hood keeps flying off

Love this rain jacket! I live in Portland and we get pleenty of rain, so a good rain jacket is a must! This one works great, it is long (I am 5'7" and it hits well below the hips) and it is also thin so you could wear it in rainy weather no matter the temperature. There is still plenty of room to wear a thicker sweater underneath it as well. Overall a great jacket!

As anyone vertically challenged can tell you, jackets tend to be too long and overwhelm their frames. I am no exception. I am 4'11", 110 lbs. This jacket however hits me at mid-thigh, exactly the length I was looking for. It covers my bum and proved itself waterproof during a recent rainy football game. It is tailored to a female body so you don't look like you're wearing a man's jacket or a sack. However as other reviewers have said, the zipper is tempermental. If you don't line the double zipper heads up exactly, it will not zip up. Fortunately, it has buttons which I perfer most of the time. I normally wear size 2 and small. I picked up a small in the navy. There is a pattern that takes this jacket from ho hum to wow. $90 is a fair price for this jacket based on quality. However I subtracted a bar due to the zipper. You definitely want to get this on sale or clearance. At that price it is a steal. You won't be disappointed.

I love Zappos! The zipper of this jacket is a little temperamental and for my build--size S, the jacket has more room than I need in the shoulders and is snug around the thighs.

95% of the reviews on this site and other sites stated that the jacket runs small and recommended ordering a size larger. I did order a larger size but it was too big so I returned it. I am disappointed that Columbia does not cover the cost of shipping for exchanging an item. The closest store is over 2 hours away so I cannot return it to a store.

nice raincoat, just what i was looking for, reviews warned of coat size running small so i ordered large, slightly large but fine.

I have not had a chance to wear this jacket to test the elements yet, however, once I received the jacket, I of course, tried it on, and the fit was small (I went up a size) but it was cut so nice for a woman's body! It wasn't just boxy as so many jackets like this tend to be. It was also light weight, and felt like it would still breathe while keeping you dry! The hood is very large - so I feel I will be very protected from the rain!

I should have listened to the reviews about the coat running small. I ordered my usual size medium from another on-line company and it was way too tight so I returned it and ordered a large from Columbia because that company did not have a large in stock. I love the coat and am glad I went through the hassel of returning it. You may want to mention that it does not run true to size.

This is a nice lightweight jacket that repels the rain and wind pretty well. The style and fit allows for layering which is perfect for this time of year. The only complaint I have is the zipper is sticky and difficult. I'm hoping it loosens up...

I love the style of this jacket and its longer length. I also like the fact that it has snaps on the storm flap instead of velcro. However, even with a size up from my normal size it is still too small. I can barely get it to zip, much less layer so it will need to be returned.

i have always worn a medium in Columbia. I ordered this jacket for a trip to Ireland have to send it back. It covers your bum,, which is one reason i purchased it, it did zip up but there was no room for movement, and tight across the shoulders wearing a light layer of clothing. would like to try another size but I'm skeptical because the medium was so small

Love the look and fit, but I hate how loud the jacket is, which probably sounds weird. Rain coats are typically 'swishy,' but I thought this one was too much. I don't need everyone to hear me walk by at work.
