Living in the upper left corner of Oregon and spending lots of outdoor time in all seasons, I would love to find a breathable raincoat. This isn't it. Soaks through the shoulders after 20 minutes and EVERYWHERE after a longer time. Love the design and the cut; the quality is fine, and it will get you across a parking lot or two but don't count on it for the trail.

This jacket is advertised as waterproof. It is not. I'm native to the PNW and live in Portland, OR. This jacket is unable to stand up to a 20 minute commute out in the fall rain let alone a few hours hiking outside. If you're looking to stay dry, I would recommend you spend your money on another product. If you're buying this jacket because it's cute and it occasionally sprinkles where you live, it'll suit you well.

Loved the color, but your arms needs to be extremely long or you need to be a monkey.

There are many things I like about this rain jacket-- the long length is practical, it's lightweight and portable, and the bright color (hibiscus) is great for visibility. I got a size up (I usually wear a small, bought a medium)in order to fit a sweater or jacket beneath it. Works great as a windbreaker for cold/windy weather. I searched through many options from many brands before choosing this rain jacket for my work. Unfortunately, I just got back from a camping trip in which I was able to "test" my intended use for the jacket-- mild rain, and walking through wet vegetation. I was wearing a light jacket and t-shirt beneath the raincoat, and both of them were wet after about an hour. The rain soaked through the raincoat, through the jacket beneath it, all the way to my tshirt. The raincoat failed to perform its intended function completely.

Otherwise it seems to be a great raincoat. However, it is so small, I won't be able to use it in anything but warm, summer, rainy weather. There will be no way I will be able to layer under this coat to insulate myself. Kind of disappointing since I was really looking forward to having a great raincoat for fall/winter. Besides my own personal issues with the fit, it seems like a really nice raincoat. Too bad I won't be able to actually test it out until next spring/summer. I will still recommend this coat, but be sure to go up maybe even two sizes, to allow for insulating layers underneath.

Unfortunately, I had to return this coat. It was too small in the chest area. It even looked small on the hanger, but when I put it on, it pulled in the chest area and just seems too tight all over. Would love to have kept this coat because it was just what I was looking for.

Slim and tight. I'm a size 10 (38-32-40) and I could barely get the medium jacket closed over just my undies. The large was better but looked sloppy.

I loved this jacket, excellent quality! I ordered a large AND an extra large because I wanted to wear a sweatshirt under it. Tried on with a normal shirt on, TOO SMALL with just a shirt and I wear Size 12!!! STUNNED! Cannot rate function since I cannot wear it.

I could barely move my arms when I tried it on, and by the way, I have never tried on a coat that did not fit my arms, barring a very small XXS. In fact, the jacket is so snug; there was no reason even to attempt zipping it. This is a no-go, and I am extremely disappointed. I have never had any problem with Columbia Sportswear and must say I am simply shocked.

I had an immensely disappointing experience with this jacket! Although I loved the jacket itself, it came with a defective zipper. I could barely get it zipped up at all; it took many tries & much struggling, The 3rd time I wore it, the zipper stuck at the bottom & I could not unzip it. I ordered a replacement jacket of the same style, size & color, & it had the exact same zipper defect! I have to wonder about quality control at this point. I'm now waiting for a "Dusk2Dawn" jacket, hoping that there are no zipper issues.

I just received this coat and tried it on and unfortunately it is too small. I can't get it zipped so I'm sending it back for a larger size. Love the color and jacket.
