I bought this coat years ago, and unfortunately, it was stolen at a tournament last spring. I loved this one so much however that I could not get a different brand. This raincoat is the best! I love the length. I'm in between a small and medium in that smalls don't always work with zipping around my booty or hips, but my chest and shoulders are true smalls. I ordered a medium this time and it's awesome.

I bought this for my Niece got in a Medium and returned for a Large.

This really didn't work for me. I wanted to like it, it's a very cute little jacket and I love the way the hem flares out -- super cute. But the cut of the seaming didn't mesh with the cut of my hips so it kept wanting to sit up on my hips like a shelf. I got the large to try to mitigate any issue with my hips but it wasn't enough. the XL would be way too big on top.

I really like the blue color and subtle print and the longer length but it ran a bit small in the size medium and now that color is not available in the large. I had to return it. It is basically a shell--wish it were just a bit warmer. I didn't have a chance to check out its waterproof capabilities.

As other reviews have said, the product runs small, so order a size up. I'm normally a medium, but the large fits me well. I love almost everything about this jacket. The fit is feminine, the protection from rain, with the waterproof fabric and hood, is excellent. My only complaint, and why I give it four stars instead of five, is that the zipper isn't that easy to use. It's not smooth and usually takes several tries to get it to catch. Still, I like the coat enough that I would buy it again.

Well-made jacket, but fits tighter through the waist and hips. Had to return and exchange for a larger (gasp!) size. For the record, I am 5'2" and weigh 130#. Usually wear a medium in most items. This jacket has a princess cut and fits too tight to be comfortable for those of us who are pear-shaped. Cute jacket, though.

Nice look, but sleeves long & too tight, no larger size or no petite sizes

I purchased the small as I am 5'1. It fits perfectly and the hood covers my head, even with the clamp hair clip that I use to throw all of my hair up. The only 2 things I am upset about is 1. The cut in the back is a bit long so it kind of looks like a tail.2. It was delivered with a thread pulled out of the left sleeve. Worried that it will all unravel and I am not sure if I can exchange it now.

I am a 5'10 woman and bought this jacket for walking around in NYC where I live. I love the quality of the jacket itself. The only problem I have is that with my tall height, the waist doesn't hit me at my waist. So If you're of average height this jacket is probably perfect, if you're taller it might be good to note that the waist will be high on you.

Flattering jacket! Off white with very subtle print. Not positive it is worth the full price I paid, but I now see it on sale (should've waited to purchase as I'd say it is more fairly priced in the $30-50 range). I am usually a small or medium in jackets and I went with the medium so I would be able to wear sweaters etc under. It is longer in the back and cinched at the waist so it seems like it will definitely provide ample coverage in the rain and the sleeves were a perfect length!

I love the red color of this raincoat and the upper body fit. That's the reason I gave it 4/5 stars. However, this isn't for hippy or bottom heavy ladies. I'm 5'6" and about 165 pounds, hour glass shape and athletic. The medium fit perfectly up top but was too snug around my ample hips to be comfortable (or attractive!). I am returning it but did purchase the Columbia Arcadia Casual Jacket. I had to go up to a large, but it cinches at the waist to make it a better and more flattering fit for my shape. Once again, 5/5 stars for Zappos. I am leaving soon for a New England trip and can't find my North Face raincoat. Zappos to the rescue!!

It's a good jacket. The zipper often gets stuck though. And it can kind of puff out at the tummy which looks a little weird. But overall I like it and it keeps me dry.

I have had several REI jackets similar to this one. However, price wise-fit wise it is nearly perfect. Not quite as heavy as the REI twin but close. I am wearing it over hoodies almost every day. Good water repellant. Couldn't ask for a more suitable jacket for MN spring!! and Fall!

This jacket is true to size. I was looking for a jacket that covered my butt & this one delivered. It even has a small inner pocket for your phone/keys/credit cards. Price was cheaper than Amazon. Considering bringing it on a future trip to Scotland.

Nice features; fully lined with zip chest pocket. Blocks wind. Cut rather slim through chest and torso with room for only a light layer. Ordered both a small and medium. The medium was huge through torso and sleeves were super long so kept the small. If you're taller and want to layer with thick fleece, go a size up. XS or S is my usual size in Columbia's athletic fit.

This jacket definitely runs small. I am 5'5" 190lbs with most of my weight in my chest and hips; I wanted a Large but it was sold out, so I thought I'd try the XL instead... And I'm glad I did! The XL fits me nicely; a little snug in the hip region and also around the top of my arms. I have the Columbia Arcadia II rain jacket but I don't like the all-over mesh on the inside. My rings get caught in it every time I put it on and it just doesn't fit me right. I love this "Splash a Little" rain jacket, because there is only a small bit of mesh on the inside, and the flap over the zipper is snap buttons not velcro. The velcro on my other jacket sticks to everything I don't want it to stick to and I'm not a fan. Overall, I like this jacket, but it does run small. The XL just fits me but it would be too tight if I tried to wear anything heavier than a sweater under it. I definitely recommend you size up.

This raincoat was one of three that I ordered on Zappos to see which would fit best. I ordered all the raincoats in a women's medium. I am 5'1" and 125 lbs. The coat was nice and what I expected based on the product description, but I ended up returning this rain coat because it was cut much narrower than the other two coats. In addition, I have other (older) Columbia coats in a women's medium and they are not as narrow as this raincoat. I could not wear a fleece top or sweatshirt under this coat and zip it up and be able to move around comfortably. I ended up keeping the North Face Venture jacket (in cosmic heather blue color) because I could wear a fleece underneath it and be able to move around with it zipped up. And it has pit zips-which I really like. (This Columbia coat does not have pit zips). I also returned a North Face Resolve jacket which was very nice, but I liked the North Face Venture jacket more.

This coat is flattering but is cut for small framed women of any size. I usually wear size small tops but because of the reviews, I ordered the medium. Even with the medium the whole torso and sleeves are snug without any extra layers. I do love the coverage of this longer style and the overall effect is good looking.

Usually get medium, ordered lg and it fits w extra room, but still flattering. Sleeves too long, need to roll up once.(One star off) Beige color w subtle pattern very nice, coat is packable. I like that it is slightly longer in the back. Seems waterproof and breathable with limited use so far. I'm happy!

Love the shape and color. Nice weight. Keeps you warm but still feels like it breathes. I went with one size up of what I would typically wear so I can wear this jacket over a sweater.

I love this jacket. I bought it for travel, but have been using it recently in some rainy weather. I wore it during a downpour and it kept me dry. It packs up small, so it will be handy for travel and light packing. I did size up from my usual medium to large, which was a good idea as this jacket runs small, I think, mainly due to it's tapered design. I also like that about this jacket as the boxy styles of other rain jackets are not as stylish. The longer length is also nice and I like that my longer tops are all covered with that extra length. If extra warmth is needed, a sweater fits fine underneath. Highly recommend!
