This longer length jacket is perfect for what I need it for, a little longer, rain proof and complimentary to the female figure.

holy moly this is exactly what I've been looking for! It's supremely waterproof, well fitted, light, comfortable & flattering. The length is perfect for helping to protect the lower half in downpours... the slight A-cut of the jacket is flattering at the waist and also directs water runoff out and away from you. The hood is also well fitted, which is great because many rain jackets have hoods are too large and floppy. It stays put. It also has a look that could be deciphered as hip instead of sporty, if you're looking for a great functional background piece that doesn't scream "I'm sporty yo!". I'm 5'6" 140 lbs and the medium fits perfectly with enough wiggle room to be active or ride a bike in. Great jacket! Make it in more colors please!

Great weight, great rain proofing, love that it has form. VERY glad I'd read reviews about its sizing because it does run very small. Don't feel bad about ordering a large or extra large even if you've never done that in your life.

I had been looking all over for a light weight rain jacket that was functional, would hold up against the rain very well and was comfortable & good looking. I walk to and from most of where I need to go in the city so these things were important to me. So far I love this rain jacket! I took note of the many reviews that advised to order a size up from your usual size and the jacket fits great! There's a little extra room to wear a fleece layer underneath in the cooler weather.

I love this raincoat, it covers more than a jacket and the fit is flattering. It also breathes, not like those plastic jackets. Because it's a tailored fit it's flattering but it does run small. I got a size larger than usual and it fits great.

The jacket is light, including the hood which I like. The material is nice. I like it.

I'd been looking all over for an affordable light-weight waterproof and breathable jacket. I found it in this Columbia jacket. I bought this to wear as a shell over a fleece jacket when the weather's cool or just alone when it's warmer. I love that it is a bit longer than many other similar jackets and that it has a double-zipper up the front and pockets with zippers. This jacket is so popular that I had to order it directly from Columbia -- it was sold out in the retail stores near me.

this coat is really cute. modern fit. not a straight boxy coat. i am 5'8, about 140 and ordered a size large. fit perfect. this is a true rain coat, not really a warm coat but very cute and functional for rainy days or evening that are a bit chilly where you just want something to cover you.

I have been searching for a water-repellant windbreak but I am short and the boxy style of most windbreakers just look horrible on me. Shopping at other companies, I have bought and returned many raincoats over the year; but this Columbia raincoat is as close to perfect as you can get. Its like they got in my mind and designed exactly what I have looking for. It keeps the wind and rain off plus is very stylish. The cinching at the back waist gives it just enough shape to make it look almost dressy. Loved the color (I got the red) and what girl doesn't need a red raincoat. This was my best purchase and would strongly recommend it to others.

I knew it fits small, so I ordered a large one and I have no problem with the size. Its great and I love the color.

This coat does exactly what it is intended to do--keeps me dry in the rain. The water wicks right off. Plus the hood is great--it stays up and covers your face enough to keep that dry as well. It does run very small (I am usually a solid medium in everything I wear, but the large fits me perfectly), but it fits quite nicely. I love the longer length, and the cut is flattering as well.

I'm a size Small, but I bought a Medium because reviews said it ran small, but I found the medium to be too large. For a fitted, feminine look I would have gotten the small, but I'll keep the medium so I can fit thicker clothing underneath it. But for that reason I think this coat is true to size! Length is great for more rain protection, and hood is a good size. The red pattern and color is just like the picture. Its very light and with no plasticy feel for a raincoat.

The length of this jacket is great. Just a bit below the hips. Nice shaping to give it a more feminine appearance. It does run a bit small.

This is a great jacket for wet weather, especially fall and spring! It fits well and I love the red color which isn't too flashy but still fun to wear!

I'm a lean 5'8" tall, and was shocked how small this beautiful jacket was in size L. The shoulder seams were too narrow, hood was too small to cover my head, and sleeve length too short. I returned it, and ordered a 1x as they were out of XL. The 1X fits me fine with some roominess.

The jacket was made very well with the only exception to the fit. The jacket did not have much room in the sleeves as they were close fitting. I decided to return the jacket for one size up.

Pros...Love the style. Great look. Cons...I ordered the XL in order to have a little extra room. However, the jacket seems to run small. Overall the size could have worked but under the arms was tight. I'm tall and slender with slender arms so I think the jacket is cut small in the upper arm area.

Just got this, but so far: It fits close. I ordered S which usually is loose on me. This fits like XS. (I also have the mighty lite coat in S, as a comparison.) If you want to layer stuff under this you may want to size up. I like the smaller fit, it's prettier and not so boxy looking like many others I tried. It's quite thin material so probably not a warm jacket. I got it specifically to walk when it's raining. So far wore it once for 30-40 minutes in the rain with a thin fleece under it and it was fine.

Beautiful jacket, well made and stylish. It is quite fitted and even going up a size from medium to large the chest area was too tight. I'm disappointed to have to return it!

Very nice product and style

I was prompted to write a review, and I feel like all I can really offer at this point is a first impression review. I have used the coat twice. Ask me in in a year or two, and I might say something different. But so far, so good. It fits alright, kept me dry.
