This raincoat was a little tight across the shoulders and in the underarm areas. Otherwise, it fit well everywhere else and I really love the length. I would definitely recommend sizing up so you have room for a sweatshirt underneath. I am 5'8 and 150 pounds for reference and I ordered a medium.

Website says this jacket runs slightly small. But it's Very small for a medium. Much smaller than my last size medium jacket that was quite similar in design. I am 5 feet tall and 112 pounds so a medium should be quite roomy for me. All I can wear under this jacket is a light sweater. Under my last medium I wore a sweater, a down sweater and a fleece jacket, all perfect for travel. But the water proofing on the last jacket failed. Columbia is pretty lazy about sizing. No petites either. CS is very responsible but this is still very irritating since I ordered this jacket for a trip and now I can't take it.

I always wear a Medium size and this jacket is cut very small. I would order up a size next time.

I recently was treated to a visit to the Columbia Outlet, and since I had lost so much weight, I was happy to get a new fleece and a rain jacket. I love the new rain jacket, but the sleeves are too long. I inquired if they made petite sizes, but was told they do not. I took the fleece in with my sewing machine, but the rain jacket is harder to figure out how to deal with (other than rolling up the sleeves). Why don't you sell petite sizes?

I saw the reviews and ordered up a size to XL. I found it to be very trim in the waist and the sleeves to be extremely long (down to my fingertips). No way could you wear anything under it. Color was as shown. Returning it.

such a cute rain coat; unfortunately it was too narrow in the hip area and the sleeves were a bit long (medium) so I know that a larger size would not work I was sorry to send it back .

The print is lovely . . . the length is lovely . . . but the top of it fits really oddly. The sleeves are almost set in too high for it to move smoothly so it ends up bunching "up" in the front. I'm so sad not to be able to keep it!

Too Bad. The xl was very tight through the upper arms, across the chest and at the hips. Xl is my usual size, so this was off. Wish it wasn't as it was what I was looking for. Oh well, it is going back. The search continues

I loved the color of this coat but it was a little to long for my needs and I really need a raincoat that was lined.

I wanted a shell that gave me the option to layer in colder weather. I'm 5'4, 130lb and the medium was too small. I should've ordered a large. I can zip it up but it won't be comfortable to wear over layers.

I am 5' 8" and typically wear a size 4-6. I ordered a medium and it was too large and bulky. I also thought the lace print would be less obvious. Had to return and still on the hunt for the perfect light weight rain jacket to take to Ireland in the Spring.

I wear a 10. I ordered a large which was supposed to be for a 12-14. I am normally proportioned and this product is too tight in the chest and armholes. It is not "cut" properly. If I were reordering, I would order an Extra Large.

Columbia, why in heavens don't you make longer raincoats for women? We don't like to get our legs wet above the knees! This definitely keeps the elements out as far and wind and rain, and the hood is very functional but please make some more longer lengths! And yes, be sure to go up a size if you have normal hips.

I like the basic style of this jacket. I warn that runs small. I am always a medium, which I ordered, and it fits, but it is very snug - it would be very tight if I had a thicker layer on underneath. Also, the zipper is not user friendly. It took me a couple of tries to figure it out. You have to bring the zipper end all the way through the bottom of the zipper puller or it does not go up.

Lightweight Windbreaker. Online image looks like a solid color, but it is a small window pane pattern. I bought large so I could layer underneath. I usually wear medium. But the fit through the shoulders is too tight for layering. Yet it is full through the trunk -- not a good fit. Needle looks good. Well sewn. I have not tested the waterproofing or sealed seams yet. I think this will be serviceable in Hawaii where I live. I like the color and the tunic length. Nice high collar and hood is adjustable. For the price, I expected better fit.

This jacket is a very lightweight rain jacket which would lead you to believe you can wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath it on a rainy day. I read some reviews and sized up one size and the jacket still fit me more like a dress shirt. The only thing that would fit underneath it would be a bra. I had to send it back and they won't even pay the return shipping even though it is clearly their fault. I'm normally not a complainer but this is ridiculous. I am now totally unimpressed with Columbia. I used to think of quality when I thought of them but not anymore. Now it's just cheap garbage like everything else. They have lost a customer!

Runs about 2 sizes too small if you have hips and a butt.

I wear a XS to a S & ive now bought this coat in a small and a medium & both are too tight in the waist. The medium seemed no bigger than the small. It's sad, I love this coat...but I am giving up.

I love the look of this jacket and was really looking forward to wearing it. However, I usually wear a Large but I purchased an XLarge and found that it was too small! I was very disappointed!

Coat looks very good but the sizing is way too small. Couldn't get arms in sleeves comfortably and front didn't close. Wear L or Xl. Ordered XL and too small.

Very small through the hips. I usually order a small, but read the reviews so ordered a medium. It was roomy through the top but was still very tight around the hips. Wouldn't recommend unless you are large throughout the torso and small around the hips.

This is a very pretty well made jacket, however, like the other reviews it runs small. I'm 5'5", 170 LBs, 40"/38C chest and it was very tight for me in the chest, shoulders, and arms (a little snug in the hips too). My arms are 13". I am contemplating if I am going to size up for another or not.
