I've been wearing Asics to run in for years. This is my first pair of the Gel-Kayano model. I have run in them for 1 month now. Each time I run, I find myself thinking, I like this shoe. I like the stability. I like the way they feel when I run. I also bought a second pair of the same model just to wear as my daily shoe.

Between my husband and I we own three pairs of these. The best! You forget you have shoes on. Comfy from the the first wear. We have converted from Nike and are not looking back. The only outstanding question we have is how much wear we will get out of them before the honeymoon is over?! Until then we will enjoy every minute.

I've been looking for a really good running shoe for work since I'm on my feet all day. I knew Asics would be a great choice(and is a great running shoe) since I've owed them before. This shoe is a no brainer, but that's not why I'm writing this review. I'm writing this review to praise Zappos. I have used Zappos in the past to purchase shoes and as I was looking for the "perfect" running shoe, I had to order and reorder and reorder again from Zappos to find just the right shoe. Zappos never once complained about how many times I ordered, what I ordered or when I ordered they just sent my order (and I must have ordered and returned 5 pairs of shoe)this is the main reason why I am writing this review today. Not to mention the unsurpassed customer service I received while having to ask questions about my order once I found the right shoe. Zappos even offered to give me the discounted/sale price even when I wanted to order the Asics Kayano 19 a month out. Awesome customer service, awesome price awesome choice of products Zappos. Way to go! I will definitely be using you again and again. Thank you Zappos for being so patient.

I purchased these runners for my son for his birthday. He had used Kayano 18's for a few years and won't wear anything else. He was very happy with the 19's. He is 6' 3" and weighs about 225 lbs. so requires a good shoe with good arch support as he suffers from plantar fasciitis. The service I received was prompt and when I had to call the help number as my shopping cart wouldn't load they were more than helpful. I would highly recommend purching this shoe from Zappos.

In my opinion Asics are great sneakers. I purchased these for my husband who has an extremely wide foot. (4E) I actually wear this style and love them. They fit his foot so they were a keeper! He's on his feet all day so he needs a good sneaker. They also make a more cushioned style that has great reviews but it just wasn't wide enough so we only kept the one pair. He went up half a size. Thank you Zappos for the most amazing service!

Bought this shoe for my husband for walking and light hiking. He is older, and has a very wide foot. He is very hard to fit and to please, but finds this shoe very comfortable. The sole absorbs a lot of impact.

I went to Luke's Locket in Austin TX to get a proper running shoe for my aching feet as I had started to run more regularly. After trying many different options I found these to be the best fit and have been using them for about the last year. Overall very happy with them and my Morton's Neuroma has not acted up from running since getting them. I am having some pain in my other toes but that was due to bad form on the elliptical not the shoe!

Great shoes in in 4E width. Other online shoe sellers and many brick and mortar stores only have shoes in M width. Buying the right Asics Gel-Kayano's for my feet was easy.

This was a gift and my son is very happy with the shoe. Price was great and shoe arrived quickly. Free returns clinched it, since this was a gift. My first purchase at Zappos, but not the last. Great experience. Thanks Zappos.

The Asics Gel-Kayano 19 is one of the best shoes I've ever owned. I'm not a runner, but these shoes are perfect for walking! They give excellent support and are so comfortable!

Awesome no-frills shoes with a lot of structure. On my 2nd pair after putting over 200 miles on the last pair. Don't let the price run you off compared to the other Asics if you are looking for a mileage show. Only complaint but it's general to all shoes, I wish they would make the wide shoes in brighter colors.

I bought these for my husband to replace worn-out Kayanos. We both have versions of these shoes. Perfect shoe! The are beyond comfortable and supportive, and this version looks quite handsome.

These are great shoes. I've been wearing this model for years for street running and races. I couldn't ask for more comfort and support in a running shoe.

I absolutely love these shoes. I don't do much running but these are very comfortable and stylish everyday walking shoes. The only problem I have with them is that they are prone to get holes inside the back of the shoes if you slide them on without losining the lases before you put them on. Other than that I highly recommend you buy yourself a pair.

Great running/walking shoes. Once I realized the EE size, I discovered the perfect fit. This is my 6th pair of Asics...love 'em!

This is my first pair of Asics and I am thrilled. Very comfortable. True to size. Cool looking even for a 38 year old. Would highly recommend.

Wore my Cum's to the bone, and so the old Kayano 18's are relegated to trainer status and these new 19's are my racers. Tried them out for a short (3) run today to get them broken in and they were like putting on a favorite pair of gloves. Fantastic. I'm not one of the big guys that you see post here. 5'9" and 150. I don't have hobbit feet, but they tend to run slightly wide, and if I couldn't find other brands (notably Nike and NB) in a wide size they would hurt after a short run. Started wearing Asics almost exclusively about 8 years ago, and the standard width per size always seems to feel great. Maybe they run slightly wider or something, or just fit my quirky feet better, but I'm a fan. My only caution is durability. I only put on about 16-20 miles per week unless I'm training for a race, but I've had some pairs that seem to come apart between the top mesh insert and the rubber toe up front sooner than I would expect, but those have been the exception. Two thumbs up for me!

Recommended by my son's orthopedic surgeon for chronic pronation/bow legged. Kid is seriously athletic, so good shoes are a must for sports and all around play. He loves them although very expensive. Was worth it at least hoping we get some time with these sneakers before he outgrows.

Love the color design. This is one of the more comfortable shoes I've worn in a long time. When I put the shoe it felt like it was already broken into my feet.

For the first time in years my feet do not hurt. These shoes are great. Comfortable, light, and roomy in the toe box. I am sold. They are better than the Brooks and the Nikes I have worn in the past by a long, long way. I just wish the 4E in large sizes were available in more colors, but that is not a huge deal.

This shoe has great support! As soon as I put this shoe on I knew I was in love! The only downside is Asics needs to work on their color schemes.

Love them, I have wide feet and have worn normal width Kayano through many variations. Now I don't need to get them stretched in, got the 4e width and they slip on. Will definitely be buying more, just wish some of the other colors could be found in wide widths. Feel larger than the d width, which is normally the case for me.

These are comfortable and a clean and simple shoe. At a time when every other shoe is neon green or electric blue, these are a simple basic. They are great.

If you need extra cushioning, then these will do the job. They are very supportive and so far no complaints.
