I feel like I have a pretty average width foot and based on the reviews and knowing the sandals are considered unisex, I ordered the narrow. Although I never order narrow shoes, I'm glad I did with the Birkenstock Arizona. The narrow fits well. The regular width would have been too wide for me.

It was really long time since I purchased the real Birkenstocks and they don’t disappoint! I’m usually a 9 1/2 and got the 40 , but as I tried them I realized they were just right at the edges of my toes and heels so I switched to 41 and they are perfect! The narrow is what others also said; it means regular for women, so they fit perfectly fine for me. I love the black suede because it’s simple, delicate and goes with everything. Zappos never disappoints in terms of customer service and speed!

Definitely choose the soft footbed. Suede straps will have more gives while oiled leather will take a bit to stretch.

Love all my birks! Have multiple colors of the Arizona style and will probably always wear this style/brand!

I have very high arches and was hoping this shoe would provide the support I need. Birkenstock soft footbed was recommended by my doctor. I tried it on and felt support in my arch, but was in a lot of pain immediately on the top of my foot when I walked forward. The top strap dug into my foot no matter how loose or tight I adjusted the buckle. Wish it had worked for me.

Still hasn’t arrived and still says processing. Not impressed with Zappos at all. Second time ordering and it has not been a good experience at all!

I love my birks. I have classically narrow feet so I will, as usual, drill another hole to tighten them up. Color is super cute.

I have completely flat feet and the arch is perfect for me. I ordered a women's size 11M and my toes were to the edge and the arch was too narrow so I ordered a men's size and they fit perfect.

This shoe is very comfortable and stylish i absolutely love them!

I ordered a 38 Regular and received a 37 narrow. Way too small and narrow.

The suede version of these Birkenstocks were too wide even though I ordered narrow. And while normally a 39 or an 8 1/2 I needed a 40.

Fit as expected. A true classic that still works!

I used the measurement guidelines on Birkenstock's website and wound up with a perfect fit. The sandal is super-comfortable and I cannot believe I waiting this long for getting a pair. My recommendation is to be sure about the width as I have a narrow foot and I am sure the regular or standard size would have been too wide. I can certainly see why these are so popular.

Fite was a bit too short.

Fit and size were fine. I'm returning them because the buckles are plastic and cheezy looking.
