Perfect fit, love the suede upper

These truly are excellent sandals. I normally wear a size 11 but in these I had to oder the 9-9.5 in order to get a good fit that didn't keep sliding off my feet. These are great for short walks. These are not hiking sandals, but for short term use they are very comfortable. I am happy with my purchase. Totally reccommend. Keep in mind they run large.

Be warned- once these are shaped to your foot- you will not ever want any other shoe on your foot. Yup- they’re ugly. But you won’t care. :)

Birkenstocks are the most comfortable sandal (not for extensive walking) and yet the sizing is off. The 35 is actually an American size 6. They no longer make a true size 5, or 34 European. What a shame for those of us with small feet.

These are perfect. The grey buckles and soles give the birks a unique look. The soft footbed makes it feel like it’s already molded to your feet without the break in time. Everything is just want I wanted. I was worried unisex would be too wide in a regular/narrow but it’s not. It’s like a normal shoe width for women.

No surprises with the Arizona. I’ve been wearing them for 30 years. Great arch support! I just replaced a pair to wear as “house slippers.” My last pair lasted 3 years with daily wear.

Softest Birks! I wear an 8.5 and the 39 narrow (which I have come to learn is regular width) fit perfectly. Can’t go wrong with these. The Stone Coin color is beautiful and versatile.

It was interesting because I ordered two different colors. One cut into my arch and the other felt just right. So there is a little variability in these shoes. I have a very wide foot and have found some of the newer Birkenstocks have a more narrow cut. Well this one is wide! Thankfully! Also, I sometimes wear a 38 and sometimes a 39. If you are in between sizes - size down. They are comfy. Keepers

I love the soft footbed and was excited for this color because I love the look with my clogs, however, these are going straight back. This is my first suede pair & the suede is 100% floppy. The straps do not stay upright like in the photo. I don’t want to have to do a dance with my toes every time I want to put these on. I’ll stick with the regular leather. If you don’t mind the strap issue then these are as comfortable as all other birks.

Too small

I love Birkenstocks, but why do they say that EU 35 is an American 4.5 - 5. It's more like an American size 6. And they seem to no longer make an adult EU 34, only children's narrow. I can't find shoes that fit. Any suggestions?

Too wide

So comfortable. I'm 8 months pregnant and already had wide feet, so right now very few of my shoes fit. I tried ordering a couple pairs of Birkenstocks, and these were the ones that felt the best. The suede is soft and has more give than oiled leather, and the wide straps are gentle and don't cut into my feet. They're also cute, and I'll be able to keep wearing them once my feet stop being swollen.

Straps are too wide. Have them in the smallest hole and they are still too big on me. Not tight enough on my feet. Need a narrow.

You literally cannot go wrong with Birks. I buy a new pair every year and still have the original pair I bought about 10 years ago. The quality is great - they last forever and offer amazing comfort and support. I have wide feet and these fit me perfectly.

I would not get this style again. The bed is comfortable, yes, but the straps are so soft that they keep stretching. When they arrived, I needed to add an extra hole to each of the straps because the tightest setting was too loose. I do have narrow feet, and have had to add an extra hole to Birkenstocks in the past, but one extra hole on these wasn’t enough. After a few months, the suede had stretched to the point where I had to add a second hole on each strap. A year later, ready from summer, and they need a THIRD hole added to each strap - which I don’t want to do because the resulting overhang of straps would be too long and a tripping hazard. So they are now too loose and fall off my feet easily. They are a European 43 when I’d normally wear a Eur 44, so length isn’t the issue. I ordered the smaller size based on other reviews.

I love the suede, so soft. This is my second pair, but first one in suede. They were comfortable right out of the box. I think the soft footbed is great, easily conforms to my feet. This would be a good first pair of Birkenstocks for anyone to try.

Felt like stepping back in time as I wore them years ago. I had to punch another hole even in the narrow size, but it works. Like an old friend. What could be better?
