I am tall and have long, narrow feet, a women's size 12.5-13. It is very hard to find shoes. I was surprised to find a size 44 narrow at Zappos and was skeptical that they would fit but I took a chance and ordered the Arizona soft footbed. That was 10 years ago. I have worn them daily throughout those 10 years and still love them just as much today as when they were brand new. I was a stay at home mom to 5 kids (now all grown) and these were/are my house shoes so they were/are worn many hours a day. The arch support is excellent, even after 10 years. When I come home from an outing where I've had to wear other shoes of any kind, my feet are so happy to get back into their Arizonas. After 10 years, the suede uppers are still going strong - no tears or worn thin spots. The footbed is beautifully conformed to my feet and holding up well. I have worn the outsole down in spots, mainly the outside edge of each heel. And, after 10 years of daily wear (and I'm no lightweight - almost 200 pounds) the cork soles are starting to compress and deteriorate in a couple of spots, mainly the heels. It's time to order a new pair! But at 10 years for $130 (what I paid in 2013), that's only $13 a year for excellent support and comfort all day every day. I hope Birkenstock never discontinues the Arizona, and that Zappos continues to carry narrows in the larger sizes!

This is not the narrow so it is way too big. I ordered the narrow.

The shoes were too big. The insole was terribly uncomfortable and hard. Never tried a Birkenstock before and never will again. VERY uncomfortable shoe.

Narrow fit is great for me Birkenstock Arizona is a tried and true style too.

They are birkenstocks. High quality soft footbed so no breaking in . Color is great .

Birkenstock with the soft foot bed and the suede upper is the most comfortable sandal they make. There is no break in like with the nubuck leather. I will be these again and again.

This shoe was too large, even th ought I type ally ear the same size. I think the individual pair may have been mis marked.

I've been wearing Birkenstocks for 40 years due to their excellent support and comfort, but the new soft footbeds have made them even better! Once you acclimate to the natural Birkenstock footbed (it does take some getting used to at first, and your first pair should be worn for increasing periods of time over a few days) they not only make your feet feel great, but improve comfort for your legs and low back too. I rarely wear anything but Danskos or Birkentsocks, because as the old ad slogan used to say, "Life is better when your feet don't hurt."

Size snd fit were perfect as I took measurements on the Birkenstock website. For the longest time I resisted Birkenstocks and limited myself to Rainbow sandals which are incredibly comfortable but the Birkenstocks are more versatile and now are part of my closet.

My first pair of Birckenstocks - and I am super happy. I have a bone spur and have been having a hard time finding shoes that don't cause pain. I have been wearing these for a couple of weeks now and my pain is lessening.

Feels like walking on clouds (although I’ve never actually walked on clouds).

While the fit was fine, (they did feel closer to a Regular than a Wide), and they were comfortable, the "grey" color just appeared slightly purple to me and did not match my charcoal grey clothes so I chose to replace it with another option.

First time with soft footbed- I will not be going back to the other! So much more comfort!

I got these sandals for my husband. They fit perfect, and the color (gray) was great. But, he has a very flat foot and the wonderful arch support was too much for him. Sadly we have to return them.

Really like the Birkenstocks with the soft footbed. Felt comfortable right out of the box.

Straps were on the last notch and seemed too long

The shoe fit perfect, I just didn't like the suede straps...too floppy and hard to put toes underneath straps.

Husband needed a new pair of Birkenstock sandals and Zappos is my "Go To" place for shoes! He has this sandal in many colors and the quality and fit are great! Zappos has outstanding shipping time and customer service!

I have worn Birkenstocks since 1977, and it's always exciting to get a new pair. I really like the soft footbed (not squishy-soft, but there's a foam layer that provides some cushion compared to the original). I've been wearing nubuck and leather Birks in recent years, and I decided to try the suede again for fall. The dark grey suede is nice and soft, and I look forward to wearing them. I am reliably a Birk 38 regular (38 or 7.5 elsewhere). If you are new to Birks, it might take you a short time to get used to them. I find them extremely comfortable.
