A foot model I am not, but I'm including a photo in case it helps someone with feet like mine! I have flat feet that are average width with long-ish toes. I am a true women's US10 Medium and usually get sandals in US10 Medium without any issues. I have never owned Birkenstocks. I used the measuring guide on the Birkenstock website, measuring both feet by length and width to the millimeter, and it recommended a EU40 Narrow. That seemed to small to me, so I initially ordered a EU41 Narrow. The EU41 Narrow was good width-wise, but a few of my toes on my left foot, which is slightly larger, hung over the edge. Then I ordered a EU41 Regular. The EU41 Regular fit well across the toes, but it was way too wide. Even on the tightest setting, it felt like they were just going to fly off my feet every time I took a step. Finally I ordered a EU42 Narrow. I figured I needed the smaller width but just a little more length for my toes. The EU42 Narrow works. My 4th toe on my left foot still wants to hit the edge, but that is the only issue, and I'm hopeful with time and wear, it will find a cozy spot. lol To sum up, women's 10M ended up with a EU42 Narrow! I've never worn anything bigger than a women's US10 Medium, but whatever works, I guess. ... Good luck!

These are terrible for wide feet. The edge of my heels kept hitting the ridge of the bed. The buckles are uncomfortable. Do not recommend.

Zappos has terrible quality control. This is the 3rd pair I ordered from Zappos in the past week and 2 out of the 3 looked used. The first pair i got was great but a but a bit small, so I ordered another and the quality didn't compare. Returned and ordered another, same problem. You can seen in the picture the different in footbeds on all 3 received. Order directly from Birkenstock to avoid the hassle.

I basically live in my Birkenstock sandals. The soft footbed Arizona style is my favorite. I ordered these because of the color, but didn't realize how soft the suede would be. At 78, I need to be able to slip into my shoes, and unfortunately these don't hold the shape like all the rest.

Quality control issue? Bought a pair that were perfect, just a tad small. Ordered a second pair and the quality was totally different. Photo shows sandals on the right have a much softer and comfortable footbed than those on the left which are the same shoe.

I agree with another recent review - the straps are unusually long and not tight enough on smallest hole. Seems defective. Will be submitting for a return.

The sole of these shoes is hard plastic instead of the softer rubbery material in my previous shoes. The shoes slip when I try them on at home on a wooden floor. I'm keeping them out of desperation and hope they won't be as slippery if I wear them outside.

There was a streak in the fabric across one of the straps.

I couldn’t be happier with these! I ordered the narrow fit, and they were perfect. Ultra-quick break in, and very comfortable, perfect for summer.

Been wearing Birks for 24 years and I don’t plan on stopping. Love the comfort and style.

You know. I wanted to like these a lot. They aren’t “breaking in” as people say, and they overall feel too large and probably past the point of returning. Feels like a wasted $150. Because they don’t feel good.

I LOVE these shoes. Unfortunately the straps are so loose I had to return them. I own 6 pairs of Birkenstocks and have never had this issue. So disappointing because I loved everything about them.

This review is for Arizona Softbed Unisex style. I had to tighten with two extra holes (I punched myself) and now they fix nicely. However I won’t buy the unisex/suede style again.

Comfortable, easy to slip on and off, feels well-made and timeless. I've had many pairs over the years, and am happy that their quality has been uniformly good.

perfect fit...love the narrow sizing. comfortable as soon as i wore them. no breaking in period.

I really like the Arizona Soft Footbed Regular width Suede sandal. My second pair of the Arizona suede. I think the suede is more giving, especially during the 'short' break in period. I've had a couple of the Florida style in the leather and I like them but they pressed me in the wrong places on my foot. So am very pleased with my second pair of the Arizona style. PLEASE Birkenstock, make more of the Regular width, like you used to, especially in the new and cute Birkenstock platform sandal. Was so disappointed when shopping for a new style and SOOOOO many are narrow foot.

Love the extra padding of the soft footbed! Beautiful soft leather, good quality materials, as always. Can't go wrong with Birkenstocks!

Felt to big.

Did not feel good when walking.

They were comfortable, and the width felt true. However, the straps were all too loose. I thought about punching new holes, but was afraid to ruin the soft suede.

These are very comfortable and supportive straight out of the box. I look forward to wearing these all summer!
