I felt these do run on the large side. I think I would need to go down a full size and the width was super wide. I have average width feet so I ordered a 6 regular but they were so loose on the sides that I would also need a narrow! I’ve never owned a narrow shoe but in this style I guess I will? I sent back for refund.

I’ve been wanted these Birks for YEARS and I finally took the plunge. These are my go-to sandals for everything and a fashion staple, too! The soft bed really does conform to your foot’s natural stride and they are so cute with skinny jeans, tights, shorts, and even casual summer dresses. If you’ve been on the fence about getting these, wait no more. You will not be disappointed. I used the size conversion and ordered the recommended size 37 for a 6.5 foot and they fit like a charm. Thank you Zappos for making purchases so quick and seem less!

These sandals are amazing! I have been experiencing achilles tendinitis from running and hiking, and I want nothing but the best for my feet to expedite my recovery. Theae offer great support and are stylish. I own two other Birkenstock sandals in a different style and wear a 38. I decided to try the Arizona in Narrow and found that I needed to order a 39. The narrow is a great fit for “normal” feet. I have never ordered narrow in any other shoe and typically wear a 8. Super stoked with my purchase and will continue to shop from Zappos and Birkenstock!

I love Zappos, so this is not a diss to them, but if you want to buy Birkenstock shoes, I highly recommend you go to an actual store and try them on there. This brand of shoe varies a lot in size (even when you have the same pair of those, one could be slightly smaller than the other). I bought this in 2 widths, same size (37). The regular width fit slightly too big in length, and slightly too wide. And the narrow fit fine in width, but it was way too small in length (as if I was wearing a 36). Zappos kindly refunded me for the two and sent another 37 narrow - only I had the exact same issue. I even called Birkenstock customer service directly and asked if the 37 narrow should be smaller in length, and they said no. Called Zappos again, and they suggested I try a size up. 38 narrow was, not surprisingly, way too big. I ended up going to Nordstrom and trying on the 37 in three different colors. The colors don't matter but it's easier to distinguish the size issues by naming the color. The mocha 37, both right and left shoe fit perfectly - there was enough space in the toe and heel area to where I was not touching the outer edge - so Birkenstock customer service was right, the 37 narrow should NOT be smaller in length than the regular width. The taupe 37, the left was perfectly fine in size and the right shoe was annoyingly too small. It is the most frustrating experience buying shoes from this brand because of the inconsistency in sizing, but they're so comfortable. So if you want to put in a lot of effort for the comfort, buy the shoe. I just suggest going to the store and trying them on there. Shoutout to Zappos for the superb customer service though, you guys are awesome!!!!

I love these Birkenstocks! I was looking back at my past purchases and saw that I bought these about 3 years ago and I still wear them almost every day, which definitely says something! I'll probably retire them soon and invest in a new pair. Ladies, you may want to purchase the narrow version (I needed the regular ones since I have wide feet).

Great shoes. Exactly what I expected!

Wow!! This is my third pair of birkenstocks and the first two pairs are amazing and comfy, but I’ve never owned a pair that specified “soft footbed” before. All I can say is WOW!! They are SO comfortable and cushy! My other two pairs are great and plenty comfortable, but the soft bed ones are icing on the cake! LOVE THEM!!

Loved the shoe at first but stretched out over time and after 5ish months of wearing the shoe it is way too big. Going to have to punch more holes in the suede to make them work. Very comfortable but definitely will not buy again.

Zappos has the best selection. These were hard to come by locally. The narrow width allows for going up a size in length. And with the suede, unless you have very wide feet, get the narrow as the suede is much softer out of the box and stretches more than leather with daily wear. Glad these are back in style! So good for your feet!

I can't live without my birkis. I wear them as house shoes and outside a lot! I wore down my old pair to nearly nothing (past repairing) and was in a tight fiscal situation that prevented me from buying an immediate replacement. I instead opted for an economical solution (a.k.a. cheap pair no-name sandals) to get me thru the winter. They were awful. It took me 3 months to wear them out and I'm convinced it's why my back went out. It took me 3 years of abuse before my birkis finally gave up. I will never stray again.

I was a little apprehensive ordering these because I wasn't sure how they would fit. Ordering a narrow in my regular size did the trick. I usually wear 7.5-8 and I ordered s 38 narrow which fit fine. These took a couple of weeks of wearing to break in but now that they have, they are some of my favorite shoes. I like the dark gray suede Arizona sandal so much that I bought a pair of Bostons for winter. Are Birkenstocks sexy? Stylish? Haha---no. But I like them a lot.

These shoes are AMAZING. This was my third pair, and I have been wearing Birkenstocks since I was 12. This is a durable, comfortable, and stylish shoe for the hippy casual buyer. This was my first pair of Birkenstocks with a soft footbed and it makes SUCH a difference. With my first two pairs I remember there was a very hard breaking in process and I always got blisters when I wore them for the first time in a while. Since Birkenstocks are a summer shoe for me that meant every year I spent the first two weeks of nice weather with blisters. However, with this pair that has never been an issue. I am so happy I splurged and got these new. So worth it!

Love this shoe. I have problems with not enough support with flip flops so this was my summertime shoe.

Soft bed only way to go for me. First time with Birkenstocks and ordered wrong size. Will reorder size down.

AMAZING!!! I have found these to be so incredibly comfortable. I previously tried Birkenstocks but the arch was too much at the time. I now have had increased foot pain over the past year and these shoes are such a relief to the pain. I love the adjustable strap for my narrow foot. Highly recommend and I love the neutral color.

My daughter loves these shoes! She has foot issues and these have helped a lot. She wears a 9.5 US and 40 was perfect for her in the narrow width. She was glad the taupe leaned more toward gray versus tan. The suede and footbed are soft yet supportive especially for her high arches. The shipping was fast and makes it so convenient instead of trying to hunt them down around town. We ordered the Gizeh first and she preferred the Arizona and felt they were more comfortable. Love Zappos!
