I got a regular and straps were way too long. But they were comfortable, footbed and suede straps. I liked the width though.

Incredibly comfortable but I had to make smaller by hammering a nail though each strap (worked like a charm) The footbed is the right size but the straps were too loose

Once you break them in they fit so well! I feel like I am walking on a cloud, with great support too!

The ultimate sandal

The reason I returned these sandals was because the left foot felt like a different sandal than the right. Something in the making of this pair of sandals was off. I've worn Birkenstocks for years but lately they don't fit like my old ones did. If I'd been in a real store, I would have just asked for a different pair in the same size to try on but online shopping has become a chore. What was once convenience has become more work than it's worth.

I mean, these are a classic. The Soft Footbed is more comfortable so I do opt for those when available. This pair was for my daughter with the skinniest feet you've ever seen, and the narrow width works great for her. For reference, she's a very narrow size 10 and the 41 narrows were perfect.

The product may be great but unfortunately the sandals shipped to me were clearly worn. Very unfortunate.

I was so excited to find Birkenstock had a "narrow" width. With skis for feet, I cannot handle medium width shoes unless they are athletic shoes and socks are able to "fill" them for me. Unfortunately, even the narrow Birkenstock did not work. I had too much room under both straps. Doesn't make sense to have to punch additional holes in new shoes... so back they must go. Hate it. Will continue the quest for skis.

Best sandals. Comfy, stylish, and very good quality. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, I am having so much trouble with Birdenstocks since they do not come in half sizes. I ordered the 8s and they were too long. I ordered the 7s and they are too short. Sadly, they all are going back.

Awesome shoes! So very soft, comfortable and very supportive. I never want to take them off! I believe these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had on. Taupe color is beautiful. I bought the narrow size 37. I wear a 7. The 38 fits in my other pair, but the 37 feels better. I believe these are classified as a man's shoe, that is why they are so wide. Order the narrow before they're gone!

I love these! Got the narrow and paid extra for the extra cushioning. I have high arches and these stood the test. I walked all over London in these shoes and they were amazing. Love!!

My only regret is not purchasing sooner!

Being a long time Zappos customer, I was a bit surprised when my Birks arrived in a clearly used box, complete with a taped up rip in the worn box. After checking the Birks out for any signs of being used (which I found none) I put them on and having being wearing them ever since. Great fit, no break in period required. Having worn Birks for a couple of decades, this was my first pair with the soft footbed and there is a big difference. Zappos can't be beat for fast shipping and customer service.

I used to wear Birkenstocks all the time. When I was in my 20's I hiked all over Germany, France, Italy, and Austria in my Birkenstocks. I normally wear size 9.5 medium width, but I read that these shoes now run wider, so I ordered them in narrow. The width was perfect, but the shoes were ALMOST too short. I decided to send them back after my shoes caught on the carpet and almost made me trip. The shoes were just as comfortable as they were years ago, but I suppose I just wasn't as comfortable walking in them as I used to be.

so comfy! these birks are the most comfy as well as cute! They required very little break in time, and are well my favorite go to slip on sandals these days. f

These sandals looks amazing! That said, I'm unable to use them :( Today was the third time (with 2 weeks gaps between each time) that I am trying to wear them, and unfortunately, I cannot use them for more than ~20min of walking before I feel uncomfortable to a point I prefer to be barefoot. The fit is great, so I'm guessing it's the materials. Anyway, see the enclosed picture, they are causing me a blister/burn around the feet arch.

I love the sandals themselves, they're super comfortable and Zappos is always Awesome, they're fast, and customer is the Best, they're always Super Helpful!! However the for me the color is just really far off compared to the picture. I ordered the Suede Taupe which you can see in the picture the straps are significantly lighter than the footbed, but the ones I got the straps are the same color as the foot bed. More of a Tan, definitely NOT Taupe, not even close! :(. Sorry but the dark tan is just to masculine and a little too granola-e for me.

I love these shoes! I've actually had them for about 2 years now and they're still going strong. I can wear them all day without my feet hurting which is amazing. I highly recommend!
