This is the only shoe that would fit my aging father's foot! He loves it. He has swelling in his legs and feet due to bypass surgery in the 80's. I highly recommend this shoe if you need something to accommodate swollen feet.

My husband has mobility problems and needed shoes for support. We had trouble finding anything to fit. I checked Zappos and found these shoes for diabetics and they fit. He can now stand up to get in the car without worry. I have purchased before from Zappos and will again.

I'm probably not a good fit to give this shoe a review since I'm a paraplegic. I got them since it was the only place I could find affordable diabetic shoes my doctor wanted me to get.

Heck of a nice shoe. Not for those that need a slip in if foot is very wide and arch is high. Opening narrows too soon into toe box. Wish I could wear them.

Perfect for swollen feet. My husband has cancer and chemo caused a large blood clot. He could no longer out a shoe on his right foot. It swells terribly at times. I finally found this online. The look is not bad at all. The material is not something you would want to walk in snow or rain in, but they definitely serve his as indoor and outdoor shoes! I would imagine they would be good for diabetics (he also has neuropathy) He says they are comfy, and they fit if the swelling goes down or gets worse due to the large adjustment on velcros. Satisfied customer. Highly recommended.

I purchased these slippers for my father who is 95 years young. they came in two days from ordering one week before Christmas. I really like the looks of them. They seem to be made very well. They don't look cheep. Dad is having a lot of swelling in his feet and ankles. I did order them in a larger size and wide width,that worked well.(a whole size larger than what he wore before the swelling). He is wearing them everyday and will also be able to wear them to the doctors because of the solid sole and they can pass for shoes. He is very pleased with them as he could not find slippers in stores that would fit. The adjustable top made all the difference.

My husband had to have a portion of his toe removed. These shoes worked great for him while he was recovering from surgery. Even his podiatrist was impressed by these shoes, the flexibility, roominess, and comfort they provided.

Just what my 88 year old Dad needed! He says these shoes are very comfortable and he especially likes how wide the opening for the foot is as well as the ease of the single wide Velcro closure. This shoe allows him to wear it looser when his ankles are swollen and tighter when they aren't. He has been wearing SAS shoes for many years but they were getting more and more difficult to put on as opening for the foot is small and sometimes the back would roll under. He doesn't have that problem with these shoes. Overall he is very pleased.

This is a great slipper for those who need extra security. The inside will allow for any modifications for the deformed or insensate foot. Great for custom orthotics, which should be worn 24-7.

Excellent shoe for my father! Decent slip resistance on the bottom. Very true to size and width. I will order more!

After my husband suffered a stroke, I looked for slippers that would be easy to get on and off and give him enough support when he was walking. These are absolutely the best! Easy for me to get them on and off his feet and the fabric is easy to clean. They also have a shoe-like sole so they can be worn out in public without the look of a slipper. The innersole can be taken out to clean or another orthotic can be put in its place. Because of the velcro flap, he can wear socks and the slippers can be adjusted in tightness. These are also in made in 1/2 sizes so they fit as a normal shoe would fit. I'm definitely buying another pair!

I ordered these shoes and they are exactly what I expected. They fit well, are comfortable and have good soles for outside travel. I believe they will be good and warm for cold weather wear. I have enjoyed them so far. I would recommend them to anyone with extra wide feet.

I ordered the wrong size the first time. I contacted customer service and they walked me through the process of returning the shoes. The transaction was completed in a timely manner and I was refunded the amount. I now have a pair that fits and they are very comfortable.

Perfect item...size flexibility allows for size different as well as considering what else you have on your feet. Excellent value!

I am very happy with this purchase. I bought these shoes for my dad whose feet swell. They work very well for him...easy to put on and take off and have a nice, sturdy sole.

We bought this shoe for my father in-law. It gave him more stability then just slippers. PT thinks they are great and so does he. The girls at the nursing home love them because, they don't have to fight to get them on. If his feet swell they are easily adjustable. Well worth the money. A happy Grandpa is what we all want and got.

Great design, good support, runs small: I had to size up 1/2 size and 2 extra widths for my 93-yr. old Dad.

Great shoes for my elderly dad. He has a wide foot but needs the widest width available to accommodate swelling. Velcro close also a must-have. Hopefully the velcro won't eventually start coming loose as did with his previous pair of Propet's.

Bought these for my hubbie who has diabetic neuropathy in his legs. They are similar in style to the slippers he has been wearing but are no longer available by the manufacturer. They fit well and feel secure on his feet. The best thing is they arrived within two days after ordering!
