Though very easy on the feet, it is also very easy to step off the sole of the shoe and lose your balance. I also experience the insole of this footwear to fall apart with a week or too.

We ordered a size 8 because the 7.5 was a bit small although we kept them. When the size 8 arrived it was smaller than the 7.5. Even holding them sole to sole with the 7.5 they were noticeably smaller. Also the size tag inside was a different style so I can only presume that they've either switched factories in China or made some manufacturing change that has resulted in poor quality control. WAS a very good shoe. Glad Zappos makes it easy to return though very disappointed in the outcome.

This was by far the poorest fit and least comfortable slipper I have ever worn or purchased . No thank you

Came quickly. Narrower than Iwould like. Sides come up too high on top of ankle so when legs ar swollen they chafe. Sole is hard & doesn’t have enough traction, they slide on tile.

I don't understand the other reviews. I feel this is the worst sleeper I've ever owned. I purchased a 9.5, 5E. It is at least one size shorter than and much narrower than my 9.5, 4E shoes. They hurt my feet.

Had to return these slippers because the soles are a hard, slippery surface. If you walk on tile or need any traction as you pull yourself out of a chair, you won't get it with these! Might be ok on carpet or cement... The fit was great, however, and I suspect they would have been really comfortable. I think your feet might have ended up being really hot (and smelly) because of the material they are made of!

I am ashaimed to say that I absolutely do not like this shoe, for many reasons. It was the 2nd Propet Shoe I chose, since the first felt like there was no support whatsoever in the heel area. Zappos was true to their word, and I received my payment in full ASAP. Then I choose the Propet Cush'n Foot Medicare A5500 Diabetic Shoe Sku #8019435. Well, The shoes felt fine, just a bit loose, and even though I am not Diabetic, I must wear a Diabetic shoe due to significant nerve problems in both feet. Well, after about two weeks of just wearing the shoes indoors for a few hours a day, I noticed that the longer I wore them, the hotter the bottoms of my feet felt. When I checked the insert closely, it seemed to be made of just a solid, but flexible piece of rubber, which I believe was the cause of the shoe becoming hot, actually too hot to wear since the rubber did not allow for any circulation. When I removed the rubber inserts from both shoes, the heat problem was gone, but the shoe now felt loose, so I purchased some Dr. Scholl's insert pads, cut them to fit, and that helped a bit, but since the Dr. Scholls inserts were made of a soft foam like material covered with a thin cloth with tiny holes, and gave versus the rubber inserts which did not have any cushening I had to add a 2nd layer of the same Dr. Scholl's inserts to give both my feet height while wearing the shoes. Still, the shoes still felt loose, even though I had the large velcro strap all the way over, which was distorting the shape of the shoe while I was wearing and walking. I cannot believe that no matter what I do, including purchasing a larger height Dr. Scholl's cooling foam inserts, I still feel wobbly in them, so I only wear them indoors a few hours a day, and then I switch back to my original Diabetic Leather shoes which have many air vents cut into the upper leather part which are made by another manufacturer. In a nutshell, I have a very expensive pair of occasional part time slippers I wear, since I will not go outdoors in them for a fear of the instability of the shoes which will cause me to trip or even fall. These Propet Shoes seem to be made of a very durable type of corduroy, but do not vent or breath, in my opinion at all. I am totally displeased with my purchase, and I do wish I could return them, but based on how I read the Zappo's return policy, I cannot return the shoes in their original condition, since they have been used and do have light wear. I am 65 years old, and have been buying and wearing shoes my entire life, but it looks like I do not have the savey to purchase something I like and can enjoy for years in the shoewear area. In my humble opinion, Propet made a bo-bo in the style, materials, design, and breathability of this shoe. I do not recommend these shoes in this style to anyone, and I thank you all very much for your time. Stan (Miami, FL)

Usually wear 4W but feet sometimes swell so got 5W and these don't come close to fitting, can't even close the velcro strap.

Slippery soles! Too bad -- these were what I was looking for, with Velcro fasteners. However, the soles are quite slippery - very much so on wood floors and even somewhat on close-nap carpet. Returned.

I purchased this for my 84 year old father who had 4 pairs of slippers, none of which he could get on his swollen feet. I ordered the 5E width after debating 3E vs 5E for a few hours. To my surprise, the 5E actually had to have much of the top Velcro adjustment loosened in order to fit. I hadn't realized his feet were that swollen. Of course the slipper looks more attractive if the Velcro adjustment doesn't have to be loosened so much that the hook and loop tape underneath the flap is visible, but I'm thankful that Dad has a pair of slippers he can wear now.
