I purchase a wide shoe when available, but can often wear a regular width when that is the only option available. However, these boots were so narrow, I was unable to even get them on my feet! I did my best to compare length with other boots I own, and that seemed fine, but the width was extremely narrow.

Bought these for my husband for a ski trip. He loved the style and how light these boots were. He said they were a little uncomfortable the first day or two of wearing them (they were too tight and pinched his ankle) but that they broke in quickly and are now great. I had ordered the 11.5 and a 12, since I read previous reviews saying they run a bit small. He's usually a true 11.5 in most brands, and ended up keeping the 11.5 and returning the 12. Stayed waterproof for our week-long trip - he's excited to wear them again soon.

I bought these for my husband and he loves them. They are warm and waterproof. He is a home appraiser and needed warm dry boats for walking around homes. He also is wearing them to go snow shoeing in and winter walks/hikes.

Great Boots! My husband purchased the Mid Snowsquall boot a couple of years ago and has been wearing them out ever since. He has commented they keep his feet warm and are comfortable to wear all day. Since he's so hard to shop for I and his original boots are starting to show some wear I decided to purchase a second pair for him. If you're considering buying these boots go for it. They're stylish and comfy. You can't go wrong with these boots.

My grandson is from the southeast lots of sun and beaches is now at Northwestern College and experiencing and will be experiencing lots of snow and cold weather conditions. This is a first for him and I wanted to equip him with the best so that he stays safe and warm. My friends who ski recommended North Face. I feel so much more secure in knowing that this is the best product for him as he is athletic and very adventurous. He loves it.

I bought these for my son who is nearly 15. He goes to a Career & Technical Education High School studying for his certification in Vessel Ops. He needs a good pair of boots to keep him warm, dry, light-weight and slip-resistant since these kids go out into New York Harbor in all sorts of weather: anywhere from -5 to 105. He is so in love with these boots and refuses to take them off even at home. They are comfortable, lightweight and waterproof. He's not tested them in extreme cold yet but I think they will be just perfect. Thank you Northface!

I bought the boots from Northface web site.
I'd like it very much.
The boots are lightweight but they provide very good insulation.
I don't feel cold in my feet at all even in the very cold days when the temperature dropped to 5 degrees.
I'd recommend the boots for people who look for the winter boots.

I am an instructor that is outside all day teaching. My feet and toes always get cold. I read the reviews for this boot and decided to get them. BEST decision every! All day in the wet cold weather and my feet were warm all day! They fit perfectly and are surprisingly lighter than they look. I recommend these for any cold snowy outdoor activity.

I bought these for my 17 year old son who was resistant to wearing winter boots. He wears a size 10 but based on the reviews I bought a size larger. He has wide feet and I was concerned about the boots being too narrow but the size 11 fit perfectly. He really likes the style and happily wore them to shovel our driveway the other night. I like that they are waterproof.
